I'm not sure if I agree with "swayed" as much as Sand is falling into the trap of "I can/should be friends with my ex" or "he may be my ex but now he's my friend." I get that some people CAN actually be friends with their exes and that they are doing this in the show for DRAMA, it's a bit ridiculous.

His and Top's arc is my least favorite after starting off as the couple I was rooting for (until I realized how totally hot SandRay were). I wish they'd gone in some different direction with them.

Maybe! I mean, he did start off as an innocent and only "changed" when Top hooked up with Boston (a scene I still think is insanely hot) but deep down he still isn't a player. OR the writers didn't know what they were doing either. š
I didnt see it that way. That was always Sands dream both Boeing and Ray decided to make it their dream as well.
I actually thought, after this ep, that maybe it was a dream that Sand and Boeing came up with together, but I agree that it doesn't make it less special to do it with someone else, i.e. Ray.
Okay, can someone explain Mew's reasoning/actions to me regarding Boeing?
Mew gets upset with Top for thinking/assuming that he wants to sleep with Boeing to get "revenge" on Top for having sex with Boston...but WHY does Mew keep asking Boeing to be around (wakeboarding, etc.) and to come by his place? In this ep, even Boeing asks Mew why he asked him to his apartment, and Mew says something to the effect of how he now knows that Top wants to be with Mew because of how Top treated Boeing.
I feel like if Mew's actions are not clear to me, a viewer who has an advantage that Top doesn't have, then how can they be clear to Top? Also, Top can only understand Mew's actions through his own "filter," which is why he thinks/assumes that Mew will have sex with Boeing as revenge.
I'd always wanted TopMew endgame but Mew's action recently have had me scratching my head.
