Good question! I'm confused by the four siblings, tbh. We know that Jack and Jinny are the children of Songphoom's first wife and Sun and Mei are the children of Songphoom's second wife...so how can Jinny be younger than Mei? Is Mei younger than Jinny?
As far as Tian's age, if we know that Sun had just turned 18 right before he was arrested, I assumed he was in Grade 12. When he and Tian meet in prison, Tian tells Sun that he (Tian) was in Grade 11 back then, so my assumption was that Tian was a year younger than Sun, which would mean he's 20 now.
Just say that you are uncomfortable to see Earth in uniform and being ageist on him.when he himself was enrolled…
Uh, not at all what I meant. I'd just assumed this took place in a theater setting, not a uni setting, but hey, people of all ages can be students. No offense meant.

Well, unless they were all playing high school teachers it would be kind of weird to cast them as hs students. And yeah, I guess maybe they need the uni setting for some reason because it seems like what we know of the plot could have been set in a theater setting without the school part.

Hard to say! I wonder if they didn't show much of what happens after they get together, assuming they are playing a couple. I mean, it was the late 60s and free love was the vibe, so wouldn't be surprised to see one or both characters with others until (and after?) they meet.

The best I can figure is that she'd mad that he did something stupid to have ended up in prison, thus leaving her alone (not that either of them knew about their dad while the big fight with the Koreans was going on). Of course, I don't think this is very fair of her because it's not his fault he ended up in prison, but there you go.
Is this really going to be set at university again? I feel like most, if not all, of the actors are really a bit too old for that, unless they're all doing their Masters?

Okay, that's a bit harsh, don't you think? A rating is based on opinion, and we're all allowed to have different opinions of a show, so telling people to fuck off for giving a lower rating than YOU think is deserved is pretty uncalled for.
