I haven't watched either of those but I feel like it's so rare that one of my all-time favorite series gets a season two! I cannot wait to see these characters again! 🥰🥰🥰
Yes, this is a lot of like Jack and Joker. Meaning not a lot of bl. That was also what was lacking in Jack & Joker.
Ah, but should we ever compare any series to KP? I mean, most action/mafia/crime series are going to pale in comparison.
But yes, you're right. If they hadn't marketed this series with the hot poster, not sure if I'd have been interested. Let's see what they give us next week, though; perhaps it'll make up for the lack.
I just wish that the story line was better. The plot points of conflicts and actions, all seem not well thought…
I know! And Joe saying that his men would have taken "days" longer to do it? Supposedly that cash had been sitting around for three years, why would another few days matter? 😂 I'm honestly not sure what Joe's motivation is for hiring Sun and his gang for a fake job, flattering him at every turn, but then telling his son to be prepared to kill him.
Yeah, Tian does seem a bit obsessed with his Phi but I think the reason he suddenly wanted to stay with Sun was…
Good!! It's one of my favorites and I never expected a second season, so I can't wait to find out what we'll get! Maybe I'll see you in the comments. 😁
Yeah, Tian does seem a bit obsessed with his Phi but I think the reason he suddenly wanted to stay with Sun was…
Understandable! I think you're currently watching more than I have in the past 2 years. 😄 I hope you enjoy it when you have a chance to check it out. Oh, and have you heard that the sequel to BL Drama no Shuen ni Narimashita: Crank Up Hen starts next week?? I'm SO excited!!! 😀😀
Yeah, Tian does seem a bit obsessed with his Phi but I think the reason he suddenly wanted to stay with Sun was…
I was just looking at your lists and while we really liked some of the same series, I didn't see one of my absolute faves, Old Fashion Cupcake, on yours.

Thanks! I mean, as much as I'm enjoying the show (it's certainly less predictable than some Thai BLs I've seen, not that there's anything wrong with that!), I can certainly admit that the writing/editing is not the best. 😄 I think we all have our fingers crossed for ep7! 🤞🤞

Ha ha, yeah, some series end up writing things for "plot" reasons and not "real" reasons. I mean, what they should have done was given us the Tian flashback to tell us who he was and how he and Sun had met in prison, THEN had him show up at the gym out of the blue to become part of the loose gang, and THEN worked him into the port job as the hacker. Having him show up out of the blue JUST as they were planning the heist? More than a little lucky! 🤣
We ALL hope that Peace will help Sun move on soon because we're more than halfway through the series!
I can honestly the writers is trying to make the leading male an incompetent character, Whatever Sun does his…
You're not wrong! The guy is probably lucky to still be alive. 😄 Not sure why a hardened gangster like Mr. Joe gave the job of planning the heist to Sun and his gang. 😅
I still find Nap to be suspicious. Who was that guy he was talking to before Kawin showed up? Kawin and Sun needs…
Yeah, Tian does seem a bit obsessed with his Phi but I think the reason he suddenly wanted to stay with Sun was so that he'd be there when they were planning the port theft job and could get him to be the hacker to turn off the electricity. 😂 I rewatched the almost kiss scene a few times and by the end I felt like Sun actually stepped back more than pushed Peace away (which is what I'd thought the first time I saw it), so maybe not quite as bad. In my mind, he *thought* he was ready for something with Peace, otherwise why flirt and go on a date, but when Peace went to kiss him, the trauma of Kong's death came back. I think Jihoon is plotting to take Peace's place as the heir.
Who is the adopted boy and and who is the biological one?
Peace/Songmin is the bio son and I think that Junho (the taller, hot one) is who they call the "adopted son." Then there's Jihoon (shorter with a mullet) who had called Joe "godfather" twice now but I'm not sure if that's an issue with the subs or a Korean honorific.
