I can't find a single action or word from HDS, which can be labelled as misogynistic. The woman who is closest to him is his daughter and I think he doesn't poke his nose(unlike Seri's parents) in her matters.

I think there was a time jump. Months during which MGS developed her makgeolli recipie.
I think it's too soon for MGS to move on. She loved OJS to the point that she has invested her life in fulfilling his dream. She needs ample time to process her grief.

Bonding with a baby for a while and attending to baby's needs for 24/7 are totally different things. Seri might be up for a rude awakening.
Will Seri eventually develop motherly and romantic feelings for father at once?
Besides her parents greed SK also has stigma aroud marrying a single parent. So it's going to be double whammy for Seri's mom and dad.

The word 'misogyny' has completely lost the plot in this context.
I also can't understand why viewers fail to notice than HDS doesn't know MKS at all. His judgement is quiet fair as it's based upon his own observations. MKS keeps showing (though unintentionally) him her worst.

I think infant Hani has to leave the show at some point. ML and FL romance can't progress without time jump. Actually there is supposed to be a time jump after Jang Soo's death but the baby didn't grow. Babies grow fast. 😅
As much I love the baby I don't find SR's future love intrest jarring. It's unrealistic that a young woman who is brought up like a princess will fit the role of a step mother or even desire to be one. She is not familiar with the challenges motherhood has and Hani is not even her own child.

I hope writer resolve this without making HDS or MKS look like fools.

Actor Ahn Jae Hyun is 16 years young than Ahn Jae Wook, which is not very common age difference between siblings. Besides, they look nothing alike.😅 You are not first person who mistook them for brothers due to similiar names. AJW's brother is a 48 years old non-celebrity.

I do not think DS blindly believes everything that DT said. However, he has closer relationship with DT than MGS. I guess he'll do some background check on MGS and might end up liking her even better. He has solid reason to be suspicious because MGS's attitude is not professional during and after contract signing process. In their last meeting MGS didn't know that HDS was the president of LX hotel but suddenly(at same time the rumors started to spread) she knows. She doesn't know that HDS's personality is not very friendly and what he did for her was not his usual mode of operating. So, HDS was suddenly bombarded by too much familiarity( by MGS) and rumors at the moment. I think the writer will resolve this issue next week because she has resolved previous issues too at really fast pace. MGS could be good at developing her dead husband's product but she'll need a helping hand or two for paunching her product in the market.

Cheer Up Mr Kim was also suggested to me by other people. I've seen some Korean movies belonging to 60s so for me this drama is not that old. I can fast forward the crazier parts. I forgot to mention that in Lights and Shadows the character of Lee Pil Mo might not be to your liking. However, you can still give it a shot as a real fan.

Haven't watched any of these dramas but I may give a shot to Cheer Up Mr Kim! This seems my kind of drama. I don't mind actors getting older or wrinklier as long as script is good. I recently watched Dog Knows Everything with 90 years old Lee Soon Jae. Many senior Korean actors are fabulously talented and fun to watch on screen.

I trust you. 😆 You will definitely do better job than many K drama writers.

I've many favourites in different age groups. Korean entertainment world doesn't lack good actorsbut poor writing. Lee Pil Mo is still handsome. He needs better hairstyle. 😅 There are not many good roles for 50+ actors in k dramas so I'm happy just with the fact that some of them are still getting projects. K drama productions has been in slump so recently many younger actors are also complaining about lack of opportunities. I think k dramas can do well again with better screenwriters.

I prefer actors who choose good dramas. My favourite always end up with bad scripts. 😂 So I take anyone who is doing well at the moment.

This one is really long. 60 episodes! I don't like watching long dramas. Lights and Shadws has it's own annoying aspects but you might give it a try if you like Lee Pil Mo. This drama also caused some political controversy. You can fast forward the parts that you don't like.

It could be due to different styling or fluctuating weight. Ahn Jae Wook looks much younger than his real age. They are probably trying to make him look older for playing dad part.

Yes. I too hope that all of other actors are good or if they are bad their screentime is limited. If director is good then he can extract decent performance s from newbies too.
