The family driver also called HDS, the son of former chairman. He served the family for more than 4 decades and knew HDS since he was a child.

If the LX belonged to MIL, why would she leave it to her son-in-law and live in America. She would have lived with children of her only daughter.

As far as remember it was Sooyoung's wish to stay unmarried untill she is established as an actress. I could be wrong so I hope someone digs more. JKH, seems like he is emotionally dependent on Sooyoung. He said he was quite a wreck(like most of men 😅) before meeting her.They match well I too wish they could marry. There is always fear of breakup in such long-term non concluding romantic relationship.

This actress is not JKH's birth mother. She is long-time girlfriend of his father. 😀

LX group belonged to Dong Seok's family. His father was former chairman of the group. Their family is 'old money' that's why Dokgo family was keen to form marital alliance with them.

If the LX group belonged to MIL then she would have been living with DS and his children. She would not be living in America and leaving children in care of DS's mother and strangers. If DS's wife's family had owned LX group than she didn't have to suffer at the hands of DS's mother.

I'm not accusing you of spreading rumors but if we continue to make suppositions on the basis of scanty evidence, it will start sounding like a rumor. 😅

There was definitely some awkwardness between them initially but there could be no reason why two very experienced, friendly, and sociable actors(AJW has maintained friendships, spanning decades) wouldn’t have at least a professional relationship during filming. They’re not kids, and there’s no reason for them to avoid each other unless there’s some sort of history.

That said, there are couple of things that might have contributed to the early distance between them.

AJW has been looking off for the past two years, possibly still recovering from chronic fatigue. He was probably on energy saving mode and didn't bother to meet other actors during filming.😬

As for UJW, I’ve never seen her in a romance drama before. She’s an excellent actress, but I’m not sure how well she handles PG-13 family drama level romance. The writer is also a part of the issue, actors are just delivering (probably while cringing inside) the writer’s vision of romance.😢

And now that I think about it, UJW and AJW(even though they don’t know each other) are somehow connected through a rather sad(for AJW) thread. That’s probably why UJW shared their pictures in stories rather than posts, while AJW stayed away from her Youtube. It’s an old story, one that’s not really significant anymore and should not be shared. They are probably laughing at it right now. 😎

I think the drama is almost finished filming, and by the end, UJW and AJW got along well. However, they chose not to share that with the public. 😅🤣😋

Let’s avoid starting rumors !

It was a famous news from past. I'm a very ancient K drama fan so I've come to know a lot of stuff about many older K drama actors. Ruptured brain anesyrum means death or disablity and has very low probability of clear survival like him. His brain has structural problem due to which his blood vessels are delicate and must not be put under pressure to cause further damage. You cant be lucky twice. But I clearly remember even when he exercised under guidance of doctors he was doing headstands. It irked me in the past too.
I know Korea has very advanced medical system but people said had he had surgery in Korea instead of USA he wouldn't have recovered this well as Korean neurologists are not that good at handling such cases. I'm stating this only on the basis of heresay. So if its true then it could possibly mean they are not that careful with post operative care either. I think he should completely leave headstands that can increases pressure in head for avoiding any future risks particularly because he is getting older.

We have new dramas competing in same time slot now. Those dramas have also been recieving decent reviews.

I don’t think a headstand is safe for someone who has had brain surgery in the past. In my country, individuals who have suffered any kind of stroke are strictly advised against attempting a headstand. So, to me, the question isn’t whether he could do it, but whether he should.
That said, he likely performed all his exercises under expert supervision and even did headstands during his rehabilitation period. If that’s the case, then either his trainers were incredibly careless and incompetent, or he received proper clearance from his neurologist.
Still, I find it really hard to wrap my head around it. It just seems extremely risky from my perspective. What are your thoughts?

Is Bom being snobbish a recent plot twist? I don’t remember her ever acting this way in earlier episodes. Even Seri, despite having terrible parents and being brainwashed by her mother, turned out fine. Where did Bom get this attitude from? Her brother is completely nice.
She’s been eyeing KS from the start, even though his status is much, much lower than hers. I think KS must have said a lot of good things about her sister-in-law, so she should have developed some warmth toward Kwang Sook by now.

He has done enough musicals. He should do more dramas now. 😅
He has limited singing ability, which reduces his scope of musical roles. However, there are many Korean actors who aren't particularly strong technical singers but still shine and receive good reviews for their performances due to their good vocalization, acting skills, and stage presence. Their performances are sometimes even more moving than those of pure singers. Among Eagle cast, I think Choi Dae Chul (he started as musical actor) has best skills, both singing and acting, for musicals. However, I think musicals are about more than just singing ability, but I do wish AJW had trained his voice more. He has a unique, irreplicable vocal tone that can sound both serene and powerful at the same time

Jeon Hye Jin is a very talented and charismatic actress. She was extremely popular in the world of theater before getting married. However, her character in NO often got on my nerves. In fact, not just hers, even the daughter's and AJW's character's actions were often frustrating. Not actors' fault though. Jeon Hye Jin is still a queen in my eyes. 😍

Empire was a bad drama, and he looked uncomfortable playing the role of an adulterer. AJW can be charming when he wants to be, especially when the role calls for it, like in Eagle. You can see his charming side in some of his ancient dramas, but most of them are not available, and finding English subtitles for them is even more difficult. He has had the chance to showcase his skills in much better roles in plays and musicals.

AJW should be good at comedy, as he can be very funny in real life (when he is relaxed) as well. In fact, he was the president of his college comedy club, which included other successful comedians like Shin Dong-yup, Song Eun-yi and more. AJW got his first stint in the entertainment world as a comedian, but he gave it up to pursue acting. At the time, there was a strict distinction between comedians and actors, which influenced his decision.
