A supportive family environment definitely helps in building a positive attitude towards the outside world.

ML isn’t a bad person, he’s just quirky and needs the occasional scolding. But he’s also pretty adorable, lol. I also think he matches well with the FL. It was especially satisfying when the FL put him in his place, just like he’s managed to knock some sense into her when she was being really reckless in the past.

When the series started, I was hoping for a business-partners-to-friends-to-lovers trajectory, and that FL would achieve success on her own. I’m fine with the current development too, but my biggest gripe is the messed-up timeline. I don’t think the way the FL-ML relationship progressed is realistic within a 5–6 month timeframe. It just seems too soon for FL to fall in love again.

Here’s how the drama’s timeline seems to go: FL developed her makgeolli recipe within 3–4 months after her husband’s death. ML tasted it maybe 2–3 months after receiving it. It must have taken several more months for ML and FL to truly build their relationship. So much happened on both the personal and professional fronts. Logically, wouldn’t it take at least 8–10 (+ 6) months for everything between them to unfold?

The chairman is a busy person. He didn’t meet the FL regularly. I wish they’d shown more glimpses of ML’s personal growth, rather than focusing almost entirely on his love life. He needs to grow as a person too. Still, I think it’s a good, mature romance because the couple is straightforward and fun.

As for the Professor-Seri couple, they left a bad taste in my mouth from the beginnin, not just because of the teacher-student dynamic, but also because of Seri’s obsessive behavior, especially towards Hani. Do you think she’s mentally ready to be a stepmother?

I love Yoo In Young, but she really deserves better.

Those videos were shot only last year. His children are young because, like many Korean celebrities, he married late. Either he aged a lot in just one year due to stress or... well, due to actual age. 😂 Or maybe it's makeup and weight gain.

I believe that at his age, getting good roles and being consistent(I hope he doesn't go on hibernation mode again) is more important than looking good. So he might not care and neither should we. It’s all downhill from here; he won’t age backwards.😅

UJW is a happy woman because she grew up in a wealthy and happy family. Childhood experiences play a great role in shaping one's personality. It's still fun to observe different types of personalities regardless. Our differences makes the world truly lively and....well chaotic lols.
ML(his character not real person) is a bit of spoiled brat. Lols.
Probably was coddled by his ex-wife who according to drama's revelation was two year older than him.
FL and ML are cute together but I'm not particularly fond of pushy attitude of ML. It's sloppy writing to create fake angst for our couple. But still due to it's pacing and good direction this drama is easy watch.

It's natural for babies to look for parents in unfamiliar environment. I believe Hani is receiving lots of love from many people on the set.

Actually, some people have drastic personality changes after brain surgery. I know someone who went through a similar situation. He recovered and is doing well in life, but he's a completely different person compared to before. Doctors can actually predict the probability of recurrence of this disease, which varies from case to case.

Visit to psychologist is a must after brain surgery because brain registers surgery as a trauma(which it really is) and can
overactivate production of several hormones. AJW mentioned that he had never received psychological counseling before, even when he felt really down. It seems he can be quite hard on himself. There's also a cultural factor. Many Koreans tend to look down on people who have negative emotions, even though such feelings are a normal part of being human. I think the fact that he accepted psychological counseling on TV was his way of acknowledging that he has a problem that needs to be addressed. But before he needs to affirm it to himself as biggest resistence that comes to him is from himself.
He's not a foolish person. In fact, he can be quite observant and articulate, but he seems to lack strong psychological coping skills. I can infer these points because he comes across as transparent person with all of his good and bad points.

Of course, all of this is just my own theory based on the limited glimpses I see through my phone screen, so please don’t take it too seriously. We don’t truly know how these people behave in real life but I still believe UJW is a genuinely happy and bright woman. 😂😂🤣🤣

It is make-up. Very strange orange-yellowish-makeup. The makeup doesn't blend well with his skin. You can clearly see unblended makeup in some scenes where camera is focused near area of his neck and cheeckbones. I remember actor Jang Hyuk getting similiar makeup in a drama even though he is
naturally very pale.

Director might've shot Hani's scenes seperately from rest of adults. Frightened reactions of Hani could be in different cotexts.

I'm always torn when I see young children on TV. On one hand, I really enjoy watching them, but on the other, I can't help but wonder if their parents are truly protecting them from potential harm. I just hope parents aren’t handing their kids over to strangers like toys. Babies can get overstimulated so easily, and that’s not good for their emotional health. Acting in dramas might be somewhat okay, but variety shows are worse. These shows turn babies into stars without their consent.

I believe variety shows give very small glimpse of reality. Honestly, a lot of it is scripted or edited to shape a certain image for the sake of ratings. I don't completely trust what celebrity show on the camera but AJW's family looked more natural in that show. If you watch the parts with Shin Hyun Joon’s family on the same show, you’ll notice a clear difference in how the show sets different tone for his family compared to AJW’s.
AJW clearly said that he and his wife(who seems like a kind and sensible woman) share the housework like any regular working couple. But when he has days off, he prefers to do all the cooking. He enjoys it but also because it gives him more time with the kids. It feels like doing chores is one of the ways he shows love to his family.

Even though his resting face might come off as blunt or serious, he’s actually a humorous person with a big circle of friends. That said, he does seem more and more tense these days. I know it might sound strange, but people can have contradictory sides to them.

He went through brain surgery in the past for an acute cerebral hemorrhage, and by stroke of luck, he survived and doesn't have physical or cognitive disability. But like with most of brain surgeries, he had some psychological effects like being more sensitive to stressful situations and anxiety now. I think it’s something that needs constant care and attention.

Bom (Hani's real name) is probably 10–11 months old. She is one of the most expressive baby actors I've ever seen in a K-drama. I hope the people around her are taking good care of her and that she isn’t getting stressed.

This is director's first full-length drama, that's why he wants to do really well. Breaking into the world of K-drama directing must be even more difficult than becoming an actor or idol. He has to deliver in order to get more opportunities in the future. It’s a really high-pressure job.

I follow the activities of many veteran Korean actors because I'm an old-school K-drama fan. I enjoy tracking the career trajectories of various actors and analyzing the factors that may have influenced them. AJW has a complex personality, but he always seemed transparent and true to himself.
I was surprised last year when he revealed his family on TV, even though it was only for 5–6 episodes, as it's not his usual style. It seems he developed chronic fatigue due to excessive stress, which is why he withdrew from all his activities last year. I heard he had signed on to appear in a musical and was considering a drama. I guess he's in better health now, although he still looks tense and not like his usual cheery self.

KBS is not providing enough BTS content for this drama, but we do have some intresting clips like filming of the golf fall scene, cutie Hani, the falling cherry blossoms scene, etc. They should really provide more. It's fascinating to see how they conceive and film each scene. For example, the makgeolli blast scene in an earlier episode was actually real, not CGI as I had assumed.

Yes, they do. AJW has a slightly darker skin tone than most of the actors, so he’s wearing makeup that doesn’t match his skin tone and makes him look older. He looks much better without the mismatched makeup. I think he has also put on some weight, which makes him look older fitting for playing the father of grown-up children. Whatever the case, he’s 53–54 and aging naturally, so I think he should be allowed to look his age now.

Four brothers and UJW have lots of scenes together, so they might've bonded well. AJW joined the cast much later and shot most of his scenes separately. Maybe the ML and FL didn’t have much free time together to bond, they’re only together when acting. That’s why there’s no trace of AJW in UJW’s videos. Maybe it’s a deliberate choice on both their parts. As far as I remember, both AJW and UJW used to be friendly people who got along well with others. But who cares, as long as we get a good drama !😅
