I love it even more after what happened to the Chaebol family. The scenes from the small village were so great and heartwarming. The character development of each cast is now beginning to grow.

As always, Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Ji Won always bring out their top-notch acting performance and powerful chemistry episodes per episode. The moment that their character began to cry, I couldn't help but feel like crying too. It's been a while since I was indulged in feeling this kind of emotion from a mainstream K-Drama and it all thanks to the actors and turning the storyline to somewhat, interesting and new to the audience. I can't wait for the next episodes as I want to see more and more and more!

Title Jazz for Two Spoiler
I got excited for nothing

I hate the feeling of being disappointed in the outcome of an anticipated show. An example of this is Jazz for Two who did pretty well during their promotions but the quality of the drama itself was below average. K-BL always has this standard of embellishing the visuals from the casts to its cinematography which became their trend and branding. It was satisfying but not good enough to save the whole show.

Where did they go wrong? It was from the pairing and acting of the cast. They’re all good-looking but lack the right amount of chemistry needed to sustain the romantic vibes of the story. I felt nothing but emptiness despite seeing two handsome men kissing each other. Weak character establishment can lead to failures in catching the viewers’ attention.

It was a good start but that’s it! The next episodes were mediocre with inconsistent tension and phasing from the main leads. Seeing Shin Yechan back in his BL role, even though it was only a cameo appearance, was the best thing in the show.

Did someone remember the psychiatrist on EP04 talking to Han Taeyi? I am annoyed by his way of sitting like a mafia while communicating with his patient. The little details are also important factors that need to be polished now and then. I was also a bit unsatisfied with Seo Do Yoon’s love interest with his senior Jooha, the victim who fell in love with his bully. Is it considered masochist or is it something that occasionally happens with teenagers’ romantic aspects in life?

Nevertheless, it was obvious that the side couple had better chemistry than the main couple. Kim Jin Kwon’s delivery of his role as the main lead was too frail. His role in ‘To My Star’ was lovely. I believe he can do better especially since he is the front liner of the show. Han Taeyi and Seo Doyoon have a better onscreen appeal with decent chemistry; they are my ghost ship.

Haha, it was just so funny how dumb this chaebol family is. The antagonists, siblings of the ML, and the whole family members of the FL are far from being likable with no specific contribution to uplift the branding of the show. They are just a bunch of typical characters that lack uniqueness and charm.

The main couple is the only thing that keeps me from continuing the show, at least they have a decent story of their own with a perfect blend of acting performance and romantic chemistry.

Title Anti Reset Spoiler
I need to reset the story

A romance between Artificial intelligence and a human is indeed a challenging take for me to get adopted. I watched several shows with similar concepts but only a few entertained me. Anti-Reset is no exception since I badly wanted to rewrite their storyline. They have the budget but the sequence of scenes could have been more exciting. The only time that I got giggles was during that particular moment when the robot was creating an account for the human and he was asked to verify if he was not a robot and that was hilarious.

The acting was mediocre too; the robot ain’t seem like a robot and the professor carries an average acting performance. They almost have the right chemistry but fail to be consistent in delivering the decent vibes of romance needed per dialogue. In the end, the robot is a robot and recontinues with the romance with the human as if nothing happened.

I would like to be happy and satisfied with the ending but I knew deep down in my heart that they could showcase more than this one. At some point, I feel like they wasted the potential of the production value and the role of the artists. Nevertheless, it wasn’t the worst Sci-Fi series out there, yet it wasn’t also close to being matched in a standard level of this genre.

Done watching EP03. I liked it however it has the tension crawling over the characters but the script are too mediocre that it failed to establish a solid attack on how the audience can consume on what the phasing is all about

The group of antagonists is annoying and their tactics are so common that I feel like they are just amateurs. But what I hated the most is how this chaebol family lacks intelligence to the point that even with their fame and power, they're seem weak to do a background check with the people around them

Is this bl?
Sadly, no. But the story does not revolve around romance so might as well give it a chance

I cried. I reminisce about my passion for filmmaking when I was studying too and this movie was so well written that I love every plot it offered to the audience.

Not that great but not that bad either

Ain’t the most appealing and entertaining J-BL this year yet I’m happy they tried and make things work. The love story was light and the chemistry was alright but it took me a while before being absorbed into their characters. The inconsistency in each episode is also there as sometimes I got too bored but there are also times that I was smiling with them.

The memorable parts of this drama were the sauna scenes that seldom missed a single episode without having one of their conversation inside the hot room. I must also say that the childish fight right after becoming an official couple was indeed cute. Sakae-kun is handsome and emits the lighter version of the word sexy.

But the best part that the show has to offer was to bless me with such a cool setup of OSTs. ‘Palette’ by SG and ‘I’ll Be There’ by Genic were playing on repeat in my playlist. It was so good that it also helped the drama to be more catchy and have an average rating score.

Title Cherry Magic Spoiler
Thai remake did well yet somehow lost the magic from the major changes they did

Kurosawa and Adachi are some of the few fictional characters that I have grown attached to and always had a special place in my heart. I’ve been gearing up with excitement since the moment that GMMTV announced that a remake of the hit-iconic Cherry Magic, the live-action adaptation from the manga with the same name, is on the way. Most especially this is the comeback series of Tay and New as the main couple in a BL show. I trusted them to give justice to my well-beloved KuroDachi.

The Japanese version set the high so high that it pains me not to enjoy this remake version. I was even more disappointed that they turned Pai’s character into someone who ended up being with Rock, in which the Japanese version was introduced to Fujisaki as someone who is not interested in any love-romance in her life which was a very rare personality of a character.

Don’t get me wrong, the overall production quality from this remake was good enough but still lacked the same magic effect that I felt from the Japanese adaptation, the manga, and the anime that is currently airing right now. Too many additional scenes were added from the Thai remake yet not fully effective to get me to giggle in love with their impact. I feel like I can fully enjoy this one if I haven’t watched any of the previous adaptations of the popular Cherry Magic: 30 Years of Virginity Can Make You A Wizard?!

Title Eternal Yesterday Spoiler
We are each others’ number one, for all eternity

I’ve been spoiled and read several warnings about this show yet I still decided to brace it and see it for myself. Ahh yes, the reviews are all right, this drama hurts me so much. That’s why it has been raining so much since the pilot episode because they surely left us in tears. It was a good cry from a wonderful yet sorrowful love story.

I was not expecting it to be in a supernatural and mystery genre. It was a short yet the most meaningful time for the main couple. The unforeseen accident was miserable but a miracle happened, Koichi became a living corpse and froze his own time. I love the creative reasoning behind the meaning of Eternal Yesterday as the title of the drama. The main characters are always and will always be living from the precious memories of the past. The recollection of Mitchan's moments with Koichi.

From the beginning until the end, this show never failed to burst me into tears. All the characters are so lovely and the way that they produced the story of the main characters is just heartwarming. I might be too late to finish this story but I will never regret sinking myself into one of the greatest romances that I’ve seen in all BLs.

“You’re still my number one. I love you the most.”

“Mitchan, thank you for the miracle.”
