I agree with you on principle. The overdramatic way of doing things is pretty standard for japanese "live action"…
OMG. Thanks for clearing the loss in translation takes. It's now clearer for me. Can't wait for the last two episodes and hopefully, the things left in question will be answered like if Naoya has had a crush on Kota ever before their first kiss.

As much as I want to fully love the whole show, I can’t help but feel affected by the overdramatic acting of Kota. I know it isn’t the actor's fault but more on how the story pushes his character to be cute, fluff, and comedic that obviously failed to do so. Also, I guess they overdo every outcome of unluckiness to Kota and came to the point that it doesn't seem believable anymore.

Naoya’s POV seems lacking too. I can’t identify how he initiated the kiss during the first episode. His love isn’t justified in the show but nevertheless, I do feel his sincerity towards Kota. And right now, I accepted that Naoya did fall in love with Kota for his quirky personality and for being one of the few people that made him laugh a lot.

EP08 is just the cutest! It’s so funny how the other bodyguards thought that Porsche was being punished by Kinn but in reality, Kinn is serving Porsche some good shots. And yes! That date was so romantic. Those scenes are overflowing with fluffiness and enough to melt my heart. The Phallic Statue as a tool for anti-bad spirits burst me into a huge laugh. Waaaah I just simply adore this EP. Love is really magical and has the power to make one’s life a very HAPPY LIFE.

A powerful pilot EP that introduces a fluffy and cute story. The semi-fantasy element that centralized on luck in life is executed in the most adorable way. An unlucky guy meets another guy who showers in luck that helps him survive bad luck, which eventually becomes his boyfriend after misinterpreting his real intentions behind those lovely words he says.

The moment that I heard the OST for the first time, I knew that this would be another BOP song that deserves to be on my playlist.

Someone pointed out that Shinomiya, Sato Yusuke in real life, can pass as Keita Machida’s son and I definitely agree with it. The resemblance is noticeable; good-looking faces, lovely facial expressions, and a boyfriend material drama characters.

It almost feels boring not until they disclose the real intention behind the ajumma's sham. That was a weird crazy rich antagonist; a maniac on making herself special. I guess she enters the main lead life for some sort of revenge but it turns out that her role has an unusual plot. It was the assistant manager who sought revenge on his deceased relative. Villain after villain revelations that somehow prove that the more popular a celebrity is the more they can acquire anti-fan people who dislike them for two main reasons; either personal or fame-hate.

A bright shining star that slowly loses its spark at the end

They almost got me. I was so indulgent during the first few EPs and feel like this drama will climb itself to the top of my fave BL shows but lacks the consistency of offering the same kind of excitement.
The flow of the story is enjoyable; lesser cringes and cliche scenarios, no overdramatic plots, loveable characters, and something that can make me attached to the romance. It’s a glorious show since it can make me thirsty for the next EP.

GMMTV’s actor squad in a BL that can pull the show. It’s nice to witness a good-looking cast that can live up to their title as actors. Joong and Drunk are worthy to be the main character for their exceptional on-screen chemistry. The thing I adore the most is their exquisite facial expressions that definitely carried out their roles as Khluen and Daonuea. Two thumbs up for the creative names from them; Dao means Stars and Khluen means Waves.

Maithee and Sean are wholesome. Their flirty moments are always a minute of giggles. The comedic personality of these two surely makes me laugh a lot. The mesmerizing sensor of Sean that always detects Khluen’s affection for Dao, and Maithee’s cute and frisky personality that liven up the mood. Had a great time watching them as an extra-fine addition to the drama.

Phoon, the character who fell to the badly-written ending. Ever since his first appearance on the show, this boy caught my attention for his handsomeness. It’s clear that his role is going to be the usual male second lead that lifted up the drowsing courage of the main couple to admit their love for each other by him being the source of jealousy. Phoon’s direct personality is admirable. He can verbally confess his feelings without hinting any sense of disruption. However, the turn of events in his story is unacceptable. The show ruins his character; a side role that needs to do something awful just to justify the romantic development of the main couple. I hate this kind of twist.

Phaphaeng, the girl who also fell for Daonuea, is such a cutie too. I sincerely felt sorry for her after the rejection she endured from being in unrequited love. This has a different vibe compared to some girl roles in a Thai BL that mostly played as the wall to the love story of the main character. It's a real sadness to experience the deep pain of the heart from one-sided love.

So where did the drama go wrong? Personally, I feel extreme boredness the moment that Khluen and Dao finally reopen their feelings for each other. The enjoyment and thrill aren’t the same in contrast to them being all fluffy and jolly in the past. The scenes after the confession didn’t generate an impact on me. Khluen’s constantly stealing kisses from Daonuea aren’t romantic. I always feel uncomfortable when Khluen shows a fondness for Dao without making a clear conclusion about his relationship with Gia, in which people around them thought that they were dating.

Another drama that has an outstanding start but failed to be consistent. The ending is simply an average ending to me, contrary to my expectations. Despite this, it was still better than the usual university love story that I’ve seen from most BLs. Lastly, Joong singing the OST of the drama is ethereal. His voice is like a flowing river of mixed sweetness and sexiness.

You know what? Non-readers keep getting spoiled by the whole KinnPorsche storyline that really affects our enjoyment from watching since we already know what is going to happen next :(

The level of shocked and unexpected twists are no longer that powerful.

Why do I feel like Gong Tae Sung and Mr. Do’s sudden relationship rumor has more captivating storyline than the hetero couple hahaha OMG my BL heart is happy for that certain glimpse of romance. Anyways, the two rookie actors are so cute being in love.

Another intensified EP that brought thrill and excitement scene by scene. The peak of action with the included OST is so freaking cool. I was lost for words for such intimate and hot scenes being portrayed in such a boundless acting performance that turned out to be authentic.

Title Love Class Spoiler
A not so ‘classy’ love story

A good start by linking the title to its pilot episode; a love story that begins inside a class that talks about love -a ‘Love Class.’ The speedy first date was cutely done thanks to the superb visuals of the main characters. The senior is showering with sex appeal, flirtatiously mysterious vibes, and at the same time a soft giant baby. On the other hand, the junior is sending a dazzling gleam sensation of freshness. The perceptible height difference and the way they consistently face each other while conveying sends me a huge number of butterflies. The one is protectively tall and the other one is adorably cute.

However, due to the limited time duration with only six episodes in total, the storyline is unremarkable. EP04 is likely the weakest and the beginning of the downfall of the show. There are too many loopholes and complicated scenes which aren't a good addition to the story. First, the exaggerated homophobic remarks and the never-ending gossip of everyone at school. In my opinion, the whispering campaign was very bizarre. Second, the girl who had a crush on the professor is annoying. Her inquisitive behavior is irksome. Third, Ro-A’s nosy and embittered friend. His rage isn’t valid at all, he is quite obsessed. Fourth, is the overwritten timing. In that scene wherein Ro-A and the girl are talking about the stalker then right after a pause, the girl suddenly receives a text from the stalker. Not gonna buy it as a pure coincidence. Fifth, it’s been days after Ji-Woo bite the stalker in his wrist with the jacket sleeves on and yet the scar is still intact in him. Please, they’re wasting a lot of possible twists here. It’s also funny that during the phone conversation between Ro-A and his obsessed friend, it’s too obvious that the blue phone is already broken before he even manages to smack it hard into the wall. Also, the confrontation scene in the class is a cringe one.

I don’t want to hate this but I can’t help it. Sorry to say this but Kim Tae Hwan is an example that most models can’t properly act. His portrayal of Ro-A isn’t enough. He tends to be bland and unconvincing from time to time. On the contrary, Han Hyun Jun nailed his character, Ji Woo. I love his mannerism, the understated facial expressions, and his natural tone and intonation in delivering his lines. The drama isn’t that bad at all thanks to him pulling up the whole show.

Unlike the majority of K-BLs, this one doesn’t have an opening song which is okay since they can proceed to the story yet it somehow misses the chance to give us a nice introduction per episode.

This is still a nice and fluffy college-based BL despite the cliche storyline. There’s nothing new to offer but that bodacious poem and its connection to their little romantic memories when Ro-A went to Ji Woo’s place was cute. The drama has the utmost potential but failed to execute a reasonable storyline.

Okay, the last part of this EP is fine. Love the bodacious poem and its connection to their little romantic memories.

EP05. I hate the fact that the drama has the potential but fails to give us a more reasonable storyline. It’s been days after Ji-Woo bite the stalker in his wrist with the jacket sleeves on and yet the scar is still intact in him. Please, they’re wasting a lot of possible twists here. It’s also funny that they included the close-up scene when Ro-A and his obsessed friend are talking through a phone call. The blue phone is obviously broken. That's why I already anticipated that the guy will forcibly smack his phone into the wall. Also, the confrontation scene in the class is a cringe one. Sorry to say this but Kim Tae Hwan is one of the examples that most models can’t really act well.

You and I are locked up in a world where it’s hard enough to be in love. EP06 is a rare moment for Kinn and Porsche to spend their days together. Unfortunately, it was surviving in a pressed situation caused by an enemy attack. Looking on the positive side, this scenario is a blessing in disguise since they are finally able to slowly reciprocate the confusion and uneasy emotions that kept dwelling inside them. However, details in a drama are important. I can’t help but question how did Kinn and Porsche manage to wear in/out of their clothes while handcuffed, take note that during these times Kinn doesn't yet unlock their cuffs between them. Anyways, this whole episode gave us the romantic development of the main characters that boost their trust and affection for each other.
