The side characters in this drama are a gem. Each of them has an entertaining and enjoyable story to offer to the viewers. In this episode, the kiss from the enemy-turned-to-lovers couple, Yu-Na and Jaehyun is such a cute scene. The fluffiest tandem of Gong Tae Sung and Byun Jung Yeol brings absolute quirkiness vibes. Once again head over heels for Kang Shi Deok everlasting charm and appeal. And to the rest of the cast, I do really enjoy this show.
The highlight of this episode is Kang Shi Deok’s cuteness, sexiness, and manliness. I don’t expect to see sizzling hot body muscles beyond his adorable face hihi. Our underwear commercial model.
Also, the chaotic and comedic duo of Gong Tae Sung and his manager, Byun Jun Yeol.
The perceptible height difference and the way they consistently face each other while conveying send me a huge number of butterflies. One is protectively tall and the other one is softly short. This is still a nice and fluffy college-based BL despite the cliche storyline.
To be honest, Ro-A’s acting isn’t enough. He tends to be bland and unconvincing from time to time. On the contrary, Ji-Woo nailed his character. I love his mannerism, the semi-annoyed facial expressions, and his natural way of delivering the script. Also, unlike the majority of K-BLs, this show doesn’t have an opening song which is okay since we can proceed to the story and limit the time duration yet, it somehow misses the chance to pull a nice introduction per episode.
I hate to say this but I'm feeling a little bit bored now that they finally opened up their feelings. The excitement and thrill aren't the same compared to the previous EPs. Maybe because the plot didn't generate an impact on me. When it comes to love, one is fragile (Daonuea) and the other one is a taciturn (Khluen). Phoon, allow me to be the one who would take good care of you. Give me a day too. I feel sad for you. The turned-of-events isn't as great as I expected it to be. They ruin the characters, especially Phoon. It reminds me of Bam from Fish Upon the Sky. I hate these kinds of twists, a side-role needs to do something bad just to justify the feelings of the main couple :(
A good start by linking the title to its pilot episode; a love story that begins inside a class that talks about love -a ‘Love Class’. With only a total of six episodes, the first episode gave us a speedy first date which was cutely done thanks to their superb visuals and adorable height difference. The senior is showering with sex appeal, flirtatiously mysterious vibes and at the same time a soft-giant-baby. On the other hand, the junior is sending me a dazzling sensation of freshness due to his semi-introverted act. I love his acting and understated facial expressions. Seems like the senior already had a crush on his junior based on his extra-sweet actions towards him, another flashbacks in a BL maybe.
The fight scene isn't executed well and I guess I should just accept it since this isn’t an action show. Also, the speedy romantic development of the second couple is quite unromantic. The good thing from this episode is the unexpected cameo of the main couple from “Beloved in House: I Do,” it’s funny that they ended up happily in love at their own drama but now, both of them want to have a divorce haha.
The best part of this drama is how they gave us a variety of characters that have something to offer to the viewers. The transition of Gong Tae Sung’s killer eye to turning it into big puppy-like eyes everytime he felt shocked is so cute. However, I really like Mr. Do and I’m not ready for a second-lead heartbreak. The way he smiles wearing a suit is both sexy and fascinating. Ki Peum, the reporter, tends to always encounter a celebrity that has a contradictory real life personality compared to their on-screen image. The man she interviewed seems like a casanova or more on only getting the hearts of the reporters for them to write a good article about him. The never-ending cuteness of the rookie actor, Kang Shi Deok. The uncontrollable stress days of Yuna’s manager and his funny intonation of calling ‘Yuuuuu-Naaaa.’ Jaehyun and Yuna’s fine chemistry in an enemy-to-lovers plot. The glimpse of romantic admiration of Ho Yeong to his sunbae, Kang Yoo Sung. Lastly, the revelation in the epilogue that Oh Han Byul used to have a crush on Tae Sung. So far, every episode is entertaining.
EP5 serves light-emotional meals to devour: Porsche and Kinn think about the thing that happened between them last night that made both of them confused; That HUGS from VegasPorsche; The cute duet from the young ones and; Kinn, the mafia boss, is head over heels for his capricious bodyguard, Porsche. The aroma of the next episode has the scent of KinnPorsche’s reconciliation and slowly-getting-into-romance development.
Deep talks often happen at the beach along with the night sky, sea breeze, and calming waves.
It is so sad to think that unrequited love can put a deep pain in your heart for so long.
Their friends finally recognized the signs that Khluen and Dao had feelings for each other. If only Khluen is more vocal about his true feelings, Dao shouldn't be that confused. But, I can't blame Khluen since it's hard to confess.
Sean is a nice guy who knows how to lend a helping hand to his friends in the sincerest way. However, the kisses from this episode aren't that romantic as I expected it to be. Khluen should resolve the few misunderstandings before continuously stealing a kiss from Daonuea.
Tofu exists to tell us that miracles (rarely) happen
A fantasy show that explicit real-life matters in the most accurate way. The kind of drama who uplifts, inform, educate, and enlighten the general public about the world of a person falling in love with the same sex. It was reported to be the first-ever Lakorn BL that aired on a national television channel in Thailand. Which took the chance to build a new bridge on bringing out the difficulties, barriers, and emotional distress that criticism works on gay people. Exhibiting that generation gap is one of the biggest factors why most older people are homophobic. They are against seeing two male individuals being in love simply because of how society told them to be. In contrast to the people who borned in the earlier generations, who are more introduced to the freedom of choices that allows them to identify their own gender by themselves. Yet, LGBTQ+ community is far away from living in a world without experiencing a brutal approach, discrimination, and hate-crime from these anti-gay people.
A perfect portrayal of this is Nut’s unhealed wounds from the past that he carries all throughout his life, not until his miracle happens. Living in a dysfunctional family, he surely suffers a lot. His father is a prideful man with toxic masculinity who physically and verbally abuses him. However, it's also frustrating that the one he considers to be the closest to, his mother, pushes that his son is like any other normal boy out there. Disregarding the child’s much-needed acceptance and support. Leading Nut to hold grudges and distance himself from his mother.
Fortunately, the appearance of Tofu slowly calms down the chaos from the house and closes the gap between the sour history of the mother-and-son. All thanks to the fantasy that I never expected to be this great, with the rarity of showcasing fresh ideas that I never yet seen from others. The level of imagination in creating talking objects from the strong emotions coming from humans. A well-appreciated flow of mysteries that is both entertaining and sentimental.
Tofu being one of the most selfless characters and cutest human-teddy in the history. His willingness to be hurt and sacrifice himself for the sake of the happiness from the people he loves is annoyingly making me all tear up. When Tofu put up with any kind of pain, I wholeheartedly wish that he became selfish for once.
Phenomenal acting on every dramatic and confrontation scene coming from Mrs. Na and Nut. You can feel the tension of their emotions ranging in their hearts by only looking at their eyes. We witness the importance of conversing in one’s life. The exchange of words and being honest can help to release the uneasy emotion that keeps dwelling inside. There’s nothing more touching than to finally witness Nut and his Mom embracing a new start in life. Tears can’t stop from flowing, especially the scene where they took a family picture. The journey towards reconciliation took so long but all’s well that ends well.
Theories are all over your mind once you start watching this. The drama that makes you feel excited for more since it triggers your brain on the possible outcome that the story may end. However, during the last few episodes, plots are predictable but who cares as long as they consistently display a fine job executing the storyline.
It also delivers a variation of big emotions. A feeling of warmth and comfort from Gen’s family. An open-minded parents letting their son decide for his own path in life. Their entire family conversation is extra-sweet and loveable; a real gem. The feeling of happiness on seeing the appended hole between Song and his Dad. The eighteen year old boy comparing himself to his deceased brother is sadly unavoidable. Perceiving favoritism is what makes Song unhappy as for the reason that his dad remembers a lot more things from Neung more than his living son. The realization of the dad was a joyful conclusion of their character development. Song and Gen’s family picture at the finale, draws a curving smile on my face.
Kuenchai is hailed as the cutest, fluffiest, and most intelligent dog in Lakorn. He outshone real human actors with his excellent acting skills as a supporting character. A bright ray of sunshine and the couple’s number one third wheel. His whole existence contributes a lot from the show, most especially his relationship with Tofu. Even when Tofu came back to his original form, Kuenchai wanted to play with him and keep him company from time to time. Tarn on the other hand is the person who colors the gloomy world of Nut. The bittersweet high school love story is a good memory. Nut lives in a depressing world at his house before but Tarn makes him feel the exact opposite.
The actress playing as Jan deserves praise as well. She did well on being firm to her character as the obsessed love antagonist. Saen as the greatest pretender was somehow expected since they didn’t have enough characters to be suspected for the crimes he did. It just felt so weird that Sean and Jan blamed each other before for Tarn’s incident and they ended up being the suspect.
The show also emphasizes that marriage is a life-time choice; marrying someone you truly love. Along with it, the artistic writing technique and the uses of idioms in life is an effective and affectionate way of storytelling.
In Sarin duality from this show is insane. Him as Tofu is full of cuteness while Nueng is full of manliness. You can easily differentiate the two from having distinct vibes. Also, I’m living my best life by seeing a lot of skinships and skin exposure from the series. It may not contain heated bed scenes but it is more than enough to say that the main leads are bathing in sexiness.
And yes! The episodes prior to the last, tried to prepare the viewers for the tragedy. I anticipated this ending but it still hurts me a lot. Conveying the message that fairy tales don’t exist and we will eventually end up going back to reality. I break down when Nut and Tarn bring back the tragic romance they had before while Tofu is happy enough to see Nut in a good situation.
This drama inspires and pushes me to start writing my own novel and I’m currently having a fun time doing it. I love that the show doesn’t only center in a love story but talks about various topics surrounding societal problems that mostly revolve around the family.
Tofu, your whole existence to the show doesn't end in a tragedy. The best version of yourself remains in everyone’s memories. Thank you for allowing us to witness a miracle in life. You deserve the whole world. You deserve a Tofu in life too.
A beautiful ending. Tears and smiles are all over my face. I already expected this kind of ending but it still left a huge pain inside me. When Nut sat down holding a guitar in front of Tofu’s coffin and began to sing the OST, I lost it. I just keep crying all throughout the episode. However, they should choose a picture of smiling Tofu to reminisce his happy vibes brought to the people around him. It's just my personal silly demand. Tofu’s plays the biggest role to reconcile Nut, Mrs. Na, and the past of their dysfunctional family that keep hurting them. And for those who say that Nut needed medical treatment for his behavior of tending to be violent when he’s angry, he finally consulted a doctor in the finale episode. I keep saying this but I will love to repeat this; Kuenchai is the best animal-actor that I’ve seen from Thailand. The contribution he plays from this show is extremely commendable. He is the only individual who fully recognized Tofu the bear as Tofu the human. The passing of the ball and bringing Tofu to disturb Tarn and Nut’s lovey-dovey moment are just the cutest. At the end, wholeheartedly happy that Tofu ended up in a happy state. This drama pushes and inspires me to start writing my own novel and I’m currently having a fun time doing it.
All of the characters in this show surely brings the certainess that they're role contributes a big part to fill the whole story. There's no hateable character, each one of them has something interesting and entertaining to tell. The two rookie actors, Kang Shi Deok and Yoon Jae Hyun, are giving me BL vibes. The way they look at each other's eyes while smiling is sending me butterflies. I ship them! But I can't also ignore the fact that Jae Hyun and Yuna also established a fine chemistry with their typical enemy-turned-to-lovers start. Highlight of this episode is the things Byun Jung Yeol did in a hilarious yet good intentions mistake. He is so innocent and cute as an intern/manager. The tsundere Gong Tae Sung finally softened up when the obedient boy turned into a superhero when he became a reliable life-saver and rescued the life of the old man. I'm already tensing the second lead syndrome that Lawyer Do presented during this EP. His smiles and suits are emerging in sexiness. Part of me wants him to end up with Oh Han Byul. However, it's too early to assume this since there's too many episodes left. The finest thing to conclude for now is the new set of storyline that focuses and follows the behind-the-scenes life of both celebrities and staff. I am enjoying the flow of the story due to the fact that I am both enjoying and being informed of the work of these people working in this field. Great casting, nice flow of story, and excellent production quality. I hope it will be consistent for the rest of the episodes.
Also, the chaotic and comedic duo of Gong Tae Sung and his manager, Byun Jun Yeol.
This is still a nice and fluffy college-based BL despite the cliche storyline.
