Jae Gul doesn't stand a change, it will be unrequited love for him. Song has never been in love before but the one she opened her heart to is Kwak Hyun and she won't love another man, especially based on how her character is written and is in the drama. There's also no way Ha ji Won would agree on a romance with a 20 year old actor, just no thank you!

yeah i agree with you 100% i'm pretty disappointed also but i still like his character the most in this drama, i guess i like complex characters.

i agree with everything you said but i feel like she could have told him about it instead of lying to him, relationships are based on trust and without it everything falls apart. I think that's what hurt him the most, that she didn't tell him about it after everything happened. And because of his suspicion she gets hurt. I also like to put myself in his shoes and what i would do. I doubt it very much that Kings and Emperors had the thing "Love" because that's the price for power, i was watching a show called Princess agents where it was explained that there's no such thing as "love" for royals because they must always choose their country and people first. (of course there are exceptions and some married for love)

yeah i guess you're right however he told her many times to not betray him because she was all he had (so the betrayal is much harsher and affects him much more than normally, the acting from Zhang Vin is great because you can really feel like his heart was torn from him when he found out that she betrayed him). that's what i read into when i'm watching this based on his character in the tv show and in real life.

Yeah and he believes she cheated on him with Jing Ke and that she never really loved him, that she was only acting so she could get revange.

This was amazing i loved this, the chemistry between the leads was fascinating but the sibling relationship between na ri and jun soo was sooo cute, na ri really did love jun soo more than anything.

Episode 11-12 were beautiful.

The main lead was so fucking stupid it was ridiculous, like honestly he was a idiot. i think he was like a grown man in a 10 year old boys mind.

Episode 11 made me cry 3 times and laugh 3 times. Never happened to me before.

Only reason i'm watching this is because of Ying Zheng i was waiting for something like this that's based on true stories. Although he was a tyrant and a ruthless person irl he was the one who unified the great china and made the great wall of china, as a european i'm infatuated by this storyline and because i love history i just can't wait to see more! He was one of the greatest rulers to have ever lived and i love Zhang vin's portrayal of him! (This show has flaws though as i skip almost all the scenes that doesn't concern Ying Zheng however the chemistry between the OTP is amazing i just wanted to point that out there aswell.)
