No he is a 2D character. But I suspect in the book he wouldnt need to do all the villainous things since the emperor would have been acting like a tyrant fool without Yu Wanyin coming.
I kinda dont enjoy how overly protective Xiaohou dan is. I get why tho.
I try to put myself in his shoes. He went to a new world in a book when he was a teenager. He was abused and had to grow up fast. Yu Wanyin is the first and only person from his world (not a 2D character) who makes him feel alive, like he can fight again and who really loves him. In that case, its hard not to understand his protectiveness. Imo
anyone else think the white cape lady in ep 26 trailer is not Yu Wanyin??
I suspect it is Madam Bei because that person is well covered. Also, we know how protective the Emperor and even the guards are of Wanyin so it wont make sense to protect one and not the other.
Guys.. question.. does the goofiness of this drama go away? I literally had to stop within episode 1 because that…
There is a lot of comedy but there is so much trauma and intrigue that the comedy helps lighten the mood. If you are not a fan of comedy maybe it wont be for you but the serious parts are really heavy.
He needs to stop lying to this girl now man. It is annoying me. I understand his reasoning since technically he was the tyrant emperor but COME ON NOW!!!
I think I'm starting to understand why Yu Wanyin in the present day thinks the novel story is trash. I don't understand…
Literally was thinking this. But I guess if it was written like the Emperor was a tyrant and good for nothing, they wouldnt have to work as hard or do as much bad shit as they did in this version? But I agree with you and Yu Wanyin.
I think the trailer and shorts make it seem like fluff so a lot of people wouldnt wanna see it. I need more people to post some youtube shorts of both sides, the fluff and the drama.
