Yeah I checked it out, auto subs don't make sense. I know ... like 200 mandarin words (I used to live and work in China) so spotted the problems right away. This is the second Cdrama I'm desperate to watch but lacks English subs...suppose I should double-down on my Mandarin learning! (I look back and get irritated at being so damn lazy when I lived there)

Well...I'm surprisingly hooked on this. Strong FML, a ML who respects her as a serious intellectual force (a step away from the all too common damsel nonsense in C-drama). Some of it may be a bit slow burning, good focus on character development, political court issues and a nice slow burn on the romance (a romance seriously, believably) based. On ep 16, good so far...*don't let me down* !

is it me or this drama is boring? I'm on ep 8 and NOTHING happened.
Normally I'd be the first to censor a Cdrama for being boring, but I'm surprisingly hooked on this one.

"I'm waiting until all episodes are released" I said..."refuse to watch week to week" I said..."I like to binge watch" I said... here I am watching all three episodes. Fantastic so far. Song Joong Ki working wonders. Addicted, and frustrated I broke my rule watching it live. Now I just have to have patience and wait... :P

On episode 10, liking it so far...except I'm beginning to find the FL too irritating. May have to drop it because of her character. Thoughtless, whimsical and selfish and constantly behaves like a child throwing tantrums. No idea how anyone would find this character attractive and loveable. Probably dropping this due to FL. Pity, I was enjoying it apart from this.
