A bit of a miss for me this one. Had really good parts, but for some reason I kept getting a feeling like I 'had to finish' because I'd already spent so much time on it. I liked Joy of Life and Handsome Husband, so I know it isn't the cast (they're good)...I can't figure out what irked me with this one. Strange. It's alright I suppose...
Can’t believe I put this one on hold for so long - it’s a masterpiece! Blown away by the plot, schemes, martial…
This has been on my 'plan to watch' list for a while...currently at a loss for new shows...your comment just convinced me to finally wade on into this! (better be a good show haha)
I've been humming and hawing about whether to watch this for years now. I found this recommendation because I liked 'Oh My General', but I'm worried this will have boring love triangles and needlessly excessive slap-stick comedy due to some reviews I've read. Give it to my straight mydramalist community: should I watch this?
You're giving off heavy doses of homophobic bigotry. 'Gay' isn't a synonym for negative things you know. Plus,…
Your comment literally uses 'gay' as a synonym for a negative thing ("is kokdu gay his acting is so gay"). You did precisely as I described.
Plus, by saying "his acting is so gay" you're clearly stating you think 'gay' behaviours exist. I reiterate you're giving of extremely homophobic vibes, maybe you should think before writing your nasty comments. Us gays aren't sensitive, we just refuse to put up with the prejudices of others, it's 2021 mate, get with the program already.
Episode 12 is precisely why these things always lose my interest. Down a fucking rabbit hole about a different set of characters, amnesia and trials. I really don't care about this bloody fishy princess character and the good war God. No interest. At all. Don't care. Skipped whole of episode 12 basically. Probably going to drop the series if this goes on much longer. Just get the fuck on with it.
You're giving off heavy doses of homophobic bigotry. 'Gay' isn't a synonym for negative things you know. Plus, there is no such thing as 'gay' behaviours, take it from me - I'm gay and know much more about it than you. Clearly. Jog on.
I will answer you, but first a little context: I lived in China for 5 years, and it may legalise gay, but it's an incredibly conservative culture - far more than even S.Korea. My Chinese friend (she speaks 4 languages fluently and studied in my UK home town where I met her) is told she is a 'left over woman' 'cos she hasn't married by 30.
So to answer you: I told the student if she trusted a best friend, share with him/her, be proud and not ashamed...but don't tell your parents until you graduate and are financially secure.
I never ever thought, having grown up in the UK, I'd advise being semi-closeted for a time, but I had to put her interests first. As I say, I stand by the advice, communist China is incredibly homophobic, I got a free pass 'cos I was white (white privilege is a thing over there). I imagine she approached me 'cos I am gay and never hid it, though made sure to not be too loud in the Peoples Republic, just thought it important to be visible in a culture where that's not a thing. But those students need to live in it, permanently
Horrific ending, ruined the series by rendering all the 'reborn' episodes effectively meaningless. Tragic shame, they should have stuck to the original material.
The story was too short. It make me fell they didn't have enough time to give an interesting ending. But... I…
Trans and intersex aren't necessarily the same thing to be frank. Don't lump them together. The former is a gender identity issue, the latter is a sex based biological issue. Profoundly different in critical respects even if they heavily overlap.
