I really enjoyed the first six episodes, but the rest was a bit underwhelming. Part of that is because it was easy to guess who both guys behind the masks were. I also wish that they would stop pushing for second seasons. I think the drama would have been better towards the end if they had treated it as a one of, but they obviously had a sequel in mind. Makes the ending a bit convoluted. Also the message was a bit underwhelming, and at the end everything felt a bit too gimmicky. I really enjoyed the acting though, it was stellar. Overall 7.5/10
I'll probably never get over this drama. I've watched some that were great since The Untamed (WOH was awesome), but nothing can compare to this masterpiece. Xiao Zhan and Wang Yibo have one of the best chemistry I have ever seen in a drama and I don't think my opinion on it will change anytime soon.
I thoroughly enjoyed this drama! Vincenzo had a little bit of everything I like, whether it be comedy, action scenes, suspense, family feels, a tiny touch of romance and more. Also I like that it is not "the law-abiding saints trying to fight the corrupt bad guys honestly and morally" kind of drama. Every one is crooked and flawed in their own way, which was really refreshing. Plus the acting was outstanding by every single person in the cast, the chemistry between the whole cast was on point, the cinematography was amazing. The drama is not perfect, and there might be some tiny plot holes here and there but I have yet to see a drama where those do not exist. Plus Jang Han Seok and especially Choi Myung Hee's demises were absolutely delightful. For me it is a 10/10, and I don't give those easily. I haven't been this invested in a drama in a while, and I tend to drop a lot of dramas I start, which did not happen here. And I usually never watch dramas while they are ongoing, so for me to keep watching every week and not drop it is quite the feat, and speaks to how much I enjoyed it. I will miss Vincenzo and the Cassano family for sure.
I am about to watch the last two episodes, but I need to know one thing. Does Han Seo live at the end? I don't want him to be killed. Can someone please tell me?
I am seriously so invested in the relationship between Li Cheng and Mu Ren it is ridiculous. Mu Ren is such a sweetheart, and Li Cheng is so feisty and straightforward and romantic. I adore them, how they went from friends to lovers, and how they actually communicate (such a rare thing to see). I happen to cringe a lot when watching BLs because some scenes are over the top or too cheesy for me, and a scene like the pottery class I would usually find very cringy. But I ended up loving it, it was so cute and fluffy. I think Charles and Anson have such great chemistry that they can make any scenario work. The storyline between the second couple is not my cup of tea but the actors are doing a fantastic job, so kudos to them.
I've been busy so I have yet to watch the last two episodes, but I saw a spoiler that made me so freaking happy (like I squealed like a little girl), so tomorrow I can't wait to enjoy the last three hours of this amazing show!!!
Today's episode got the highest ratings of the series so far, first time over 12%, that makes me so happy! Next week Vincenzo will end with a bang for sure.
Episode 17 was amazing, very strong episode. Episode 18 was great as well, but it felt a bit like a filler episode, they are putting in place the last chess pieces for the final two episodes. However there were some great scenes in this episode as well.
Holding off watching the last 8 episodes until it’s completed. I’m brimming with anticipation. Easy with the…
I envy your self control. I tried to hold off on watching this week's episodes so I could watch the last four at once, but it only lasted about two hours... I am so weak.
I love how Han Seok was arrested for tax evasion, that's the same crime that Al Capone was arrested for. I don't know if it was done on purpose by the writers, but somehow it feels like it. Also I cooed so hard at Han Seo's speech to Vincenzo, he is so cute, he just needs affection and guidance. He has suffered a lot of abuse. His redemption is extremely satisfying! Please let him live, don't kill him!!! I am curious to what kind of deal Vincenzo made with the monks, obviously they have been moving the gold, but where, and why? I can't believe next week will be the end, I love this series, it is going to leave a hole in my life.
To say that I am excited for this series is the understatement of the year!!!!

That show deserves it and more!
