Haha, yes, by (un)popular demand!Thank you for being so sweet and promoting my other reviews below! ❤️ You…
There is a high production value in The New Prince and I am hoping that some parts will have the same element of utter campiness that was in the Pinoy BL "Rainbow Prince" back in 2022.

Am I the only person who internally groans with disappointment when Yoon, his forehead and his suits show up in…
This is just my opinion and it's not based on his looks or how nice he is off-screen. I think that Yoon has been given a certain note about "How to showcase charisma." and it has not been processed in a way that he's able to portray. In 4 different Thai BLs (Paint With Love, My Ride, Unforgotten Night, and My Stubborn) , he was supposed to portray a character that has some sort of "pull" that is irresistible to very many other characters. I haven't been able to understand or see that sort of appeal of those characters. Is he one of the managers of this company?

Oh my friend, if what you say is true... I have a lifetime of bad decisions behind me. That said, they should…
Maybe the screenwriters don't think involving even a moment of including lube in these scenes shows off the spontaneity of Sorn and Jun allowing their desires and need for each other to overwhelm them?

I just think it's funny that Sorn is written to be this playboy, who also somehow doesn't have a ton of condoms and lube in his bedroom.

This(Jun) is definitely a no-drinker andI don't think I've come across a bl dram yet where the MC caught the eye…
There's the Korean BL "Jun and Jun" from 2023. Little Jun (a former K Pop Idol) also has 3 suitors in quest of him.

It's not as sexually explicit as this one, but it was an interesting watch.

So far, this show is giving me no reason to revise my theory as to how it was made, and only more reasons to confirm…
Especially when Jun and Piang (I think that was the character's name) had that discussion in the bar/club about their non-sexual compatibility. They both discussed that they wouldn't be able to satisfied what they wanted in a sexual relationship with another man.

Actually, the only character that is actually honest about what they want is Jun, and there are viewers that want to take away that specific character's needs from the portrayal of that character, because they don't recognize it from other BL series.

Sorn continues to hide his true need and desire for Jun under this ruise about wanting to "teach" him about fulfilling pleasure, but with the condition that he only does it with him.

We have seen this type of scenario before in other BLs, but this series isn't trying to mask it with this "true love" BS.

Episode 9 gave us everything—romance, heartbreak, media warfare, and the kind of slow-burn catharsis that hits…
"But beyond all the swoon and sobs, this episode was also a blistering critique of the entertainment industry.
Of how easy it is to exploit vulnerability.
Of how image always seems to matter more than truth.
Of how love can be weaponized—by management, by press, by fans.

But this time, they fought back.
Not with a scandal,
but with love that’s strategic, defiant, and deeply, unapologetically human."

Exactly. Jin knew that Akin was lying about not loving him anymore, but he knew that Akin wouldn't continue to but him at "risk" during that time period of Jin having a new series to film and promote with Judy. Jin being smart to realize that he needed the assistance of someone like Judy, who has had experience with things like the gossip blogs/rags and entertainment "reporters" during her own career.

How the CEO of Akin's production company, Jade continues to stand right by his main star's side, throughout all of these attempts to take Akin down. Jade knows from his own experience of how entirely cruel this industry can be for artists, who attempt to have a love life, while also maintaining their careers.

Jin is going to have to get rid of his manager/assistant, because what he did was betrayal.

Akin FINALLY put a ring on Jin's finger.

In the beginning of episode 9, when Akin decided (without talking to anyone, especially Jin) to break up him and take the brunt of the negative gossip, I though that he was doing the "right thing", because he didn't want to damage the trajectory of Jin's career, nor have to use someone else in the industry to give to that horrible gossip hound aka so-called "journalist". Yet, Akin should have spoken out, because he would have kept himself and Jin from experiencing the heartache of lying about his true feelings for him.

Even in GMMTV's "ThamePo", Thame got together with this other "rival" artist to try and spend some quality time with his secret boyfriend Po.

As an performer, I truly do think that you have to find a small group of supporters within the industry, outside of just your manager, band members, family and close friends to form a bond.

Having Judy help out as "the beard" to provide coverage for that leaked photo was brilliant. It feeds into the never-ending need for gossip/fan service, because somehow every actor/actress that works together, must secretly be having a torrid affair to bring viewers to watch their tv series/project/film.

how many times you gonna comment the same thing here ? LMAO
What I am noticing, that for many BL fans, there's this panic/worry that they're "missing out" when certain new BL series are popular hits. So, they will watch a couple of episodes, even though the storyline or theme isn't what gives them the thrill they get with other series. Yet, they choose to not drop the series. They will continue to watch, complain, and seek out some recognition for spending time watching something they don't like.

I mean there being straight couple is one thing, but the amount of time used on tennis and covers is just embarrassing
This series also revealed that Chan Young and Ji Yi really aren't very good supportive friends to Hee Su and Seung Won.

In this series, it was painfully clear that Chan Young was the "black hole" who took everything he could from Hee Su in regards who needed the most emotional support in their friendship.

But in the ninth episode,
I was especially floored with Ji Yi's treatment towards Seung Won. Voicing her frustrations that Seung Won hadn't confessed to Hee Su yet, because it was messing up her relationship with Chan Young.

It felt like, once she's able to get a boyfriend, Ji Yi didn't have any interest in her friendship with Seung Won. That she suddenly stopped being able to empathize with his internal struggles as this closeted teen boy in their high school.

I am currently watching the following:

Weak Hero Class 2
Boys Love The Series
Fight For Love
Break Up Service
Leap Day
Business As Usual
Something's Not Right
Top Form The Series

Excited for Pitbabe 2, The New Prince, and the upcoming SukFilm release Sweetheart Service

Between this series, My Stubborn and Heesu In Class2, it's like a battle between the pearl-clutchers ashamed that Jun isn't being portrayed as the typical Uke, who needs to be trained to like sex by his Seme Sorn (Jun's a horny cheating minx!!) vs. the folks who are mad that viewers are voicing their well placed anger about the travesty in the de-centering of Hee Su's love story with Seung Won over having Chan Young and Ji Yi's love story being focused on in that adaption. It's been a crazy couple of weeks here on MDL.

But that's never, ever going to change.

Well, to me the entire plot for Sorn and Jun is them being in denial about their true feelings, but using their sexual desire for one another to be close to one another. Now, I don't know about the secondary possible male pairing of Thai and Champ. That's probably closer to what folks are comfortable with: longterm friends to lovers tale. We still have the third pairing featuring the lesbian coupling of Penny and June.

I don't think it's that difficult to figure out.

Title Break Up Service Spoiler
Jued is slowly realizing that this job really isn't something that she enjoys or likes to do. She's seeing these clients at their lowest point in their lives and she feels like she's contributing towards their pain. This episode was sad, because Mon only used their service to give her kind, loving, and supportive boyfriend Mai a "fresh start" with having the freedom to move on from her. She didn't want to keep him from being able to live his life, while being placed in the role of also having to take care of her parents. She didn't want that future for him.

"Also, I don’t see any malicious intent on Sorn’s side. He’s clearly attracted to Jun and acts on it with Jun’s consent. I don’t think liking someone and wanting to be close to them automatically means you owe them a full confession about your feelings right away. Honestly, Sorn probably hasn’t even fully realized what he feels yet himself."

Isn't Sorn behaving just like the usual Tsundredre (sp??) in these BLs? Why are folks having fits over Sorn's behavior? Sorn is either not aware of his true emotions/feelings for Jun, because he isn't ready to accept that 1) he's already fallen for this "kid", 2) this "kid" already has a boyfiend, and 3) this "kid" continues to tell him to not say anything about what they're doing, yet continues to come back to him from more.
