Title The Long Ballad Spoiler
"I also heard that you wanted to take revenge for me. I'm really happy to hear that.", looking into her eyes he…
This episode is entitled 'Darkest Moment' in Viu. I recalled that TLB was first aired, I did not join this page yet (at that time), but I read the comments. Some people were really afraid that A'Sun will really die. But most believe he will survive, since he is the main male lead.

The words that Changge spoke to him, while he remained in perhaps a semi-conscious state were very indeed touching. Yes, they truly revealed how much A'Sun meant to her. At this stage of her life, he would be the most important person, and meant everything to her. And A'Sun was very glad to hear those words, as they revealed how much she really loved him. This was indeed a very tender moment for the two of them, and it solidifies their love for each other.

Thanks so much! Very very good video. To me, shows two things. They really do try their best to stick to the manhua. Even how the hair will look like the Ashina Sun in the manhua. 2nd thing, all those months of pumping iron was not just for the river scene that they did not film, but for the entire series. He really needed to bulk up, so that he will look like the warrior Ashina Sun in the manhua.

He only spoke very little about interaction with Reba in this video, but we can be sure, they went through a lot filming this amazing drama for all of us viewers.

Once again, thanks for this great video!

Like you, I totally agree with what songfalcon said about AS's love for Changge. It was totally unconditional love. Very pure, very wholesome, non-possessive, un-selfish

You can see that by the end, at the very final scene, they were not physically together. This shows that AS has already completely trusted her to be able to get around on her own in the grasslands, and he does not have to be her personal bodyguard wherever she goes.

Ok, initially, yes, she did rush into making decisions. Like, when she decided to assassinate Li Si Min on her own. But you can see that as the series progresses, she got smarter and smarter and began to hedge her risk in decision making. Let me give you an example.

When she decided to save Li Sin Min at the grassland, she dressed in Wolf's division battle dress. She could tell, she could be caught, and when she will be caught, the blame will not fall on Eagle's division but the Wolf's.

Another example will be the rescue of A'Sun at Ding Xiang. She wanted more information before dashing in to save him. So, she waited for Mimi to send her a map of the palace, so that she will know where are all the exit points.

Toward the end, the only big risk she took was to see the Khatun on her own. Even the fire scene in E49, many felt that script was badly written. It should not be that big a risk. She should have been able to escape from the fire on her own and not have to need AS to help her. So the scene should have shown why she needed to be helped. Like maybe something had fallen on her leg and trapped her.

I am putting my comment in spoiler, because I suspect the volunteer from MDL will want me to do it, since I mentioned something from a particular scene

Hope you become Yang Yang fan too after this webseries
We totally have nothing against him. When we watched TLB, we were fans of Dilraba. After that, we also became fans of Leo Wu. So, very likely, after this series, we will also become fans of Yang Yang.

Your observation is spot on. This is not the typical drama that glorifies revenge, hatred, and violence, but rather the virtue of forgiveness, and seeking for peace and the greater good.

The main character, as she navigates all the difficult and complicated circumstances in her life and learn to put aside her selfish goal of wanting to take revenge for parents' death and become a better person be seeking what is good for her country and the people around her.

Many characters in this drama will always struggle between doing what is good and bad.

In the end good triumphed over evil and mankind greater side is glorfied.

We are so glad you really enjoyed this drama.

If there is anything in this drama that puzzled you at all, please do not hesitate to ask. Many of us will be more than glad you have you understand better.

I loved this project!!! I even found it interesting, how the used animation... it was ingenious to even use them…
Great! 9.5 is fair enough. The producer mentioned that they used animation as a homage to the manhau author, Xia Da, rather than to save costs. But most people still believed that saving costs was the main reason. It is good that you are so open to the use of animation. Some viewers are not so open.

Are there any specific issues or episodes you wish to discuss about this drama? Over here, we love doing that, as a way of getting people to enjoy this drama even more. Sometimes after discussion, people would go back to watch this 2nd or even 3rd time.

Hi there!! Yes WK1 said it right.. Its a group effort..
If it seems that way to you, life is fair. We also experienced the greatest euphoria from this little episode. But nothing can be compared to the joy in knowing that we can go back to conversing with everyone here just like the old days.

How Li Changge has and will inspire a lot of women (my perspective):-What does Li Changge mean to me? I always…
Very well articulated. For me, Li Changge has always held slightly more life lessons than Ashile Sun. She is just such a great role model for women everywhere. All of those characteristics that you mentioned about her, how can they not inspire us?? The issue that we faced the last couple of days pale in comparison with those she faced.

Yet, at every turn point, at every important juncture in the drama - and there were lots - she will just bite the bullet, take whatever is given on the plate, adapt, plan, strategise and find solutions to all her problems.

If we claim to love this drama so much but give up so easily, it just show that we have not learned any important life lessons from this drama, but merely enjoyed it as an entertainment.

TLB is more an entertainment. Li Changge may be a work of fiction, but many fictitional characters of the past have inspired great exploits from real people. If we give her a chance, she can do the same to many of us.

To all the regulars, normal service resumes.

Please learn from Li Changge. Two important lessons here:

1. Adapt. Keep our conversations short, in terms of the number of discussions per thread. Once you feel that it is too long, start a new thread. Use some key words to link to previous one, and we will know it is a continuation.

2. Forgive. Like Changge forgave his uncle, Du Ruhui, Hao Du, and even AS (for hiding his identity for so long from her). We must forgive the admin. I think this could be the first time they face this issue and did not how to respond. They got it right, finally.

So, we must not give up on this forum. It has just been a month plus since the end of this drama. Comment section of dramas that ended their run years ago are still alive, even today.

Please do not give up so easily.

Yes, AS returned the dagger to CG in Ep. 9 after he did a swap & save deal with Hao Du using Le Yan.
Got it! And since E9, CG has always had it. Thanks so much!

That dagger that Changge received in E1, we know that it will receive its final and most important attention in E46, when CG returned it to her uncle, as a symbol that their relationship is healed and she was no longer interested in killing him. So, all this while, it has always been with Changge? I know she gave it to AS, as part of the deal to get out of Changge. He did return it to her, right?

Finding her Tao (path) E 29-30
Finding her path (E29-30)

The grasslands arc (E15-E25) were busy times for Changge. Saving Li Si Min, saving the elderly general, seeing Ashile Sun's adoptive getting killed. There was little time for her to reflect.

But the temple arc will give her more time to reflect on her Tao (path) and what are her life goals. At the suicide of the Gongsun couple, Qin Lau asked her what is her path. At Liuyan Temple, she would be confronted by the same question, and here she will find greater clarity toward her path. The greater good of caring for ordinary citizens of Shouzhou will widen to include caring for whole of Tang.

At the temple, she would see refugees who suffered from the ravages of war, and this would let her see the superority of peace over war. By E30, her Tao would include prosperity for whole of Tang, and finding peace, so ordinary citizens could carry on with their livelihood. These goals will slowly displace her desire for revenge against Li Si Min, and even Du Ruhui.

Even though she sat there in front of the huge "Do nothing" calligraphy, the Liuyun Abbess knows that Changge is hardly the 'do nothing' kind of indiviuals. She will set out to achieve her life goals.
