I do not go to many drama pages, because I am a hardcore Dilraba fan and have no desire to comment on other pages, even though I watch many of those dramas.

You should watch You are my glory, a modern cdrama starring Dilraba and Yang Yang. It is the best modern romance drama of 2021. Lots of intense love and passionate kisses. Great chemistry between the two leads. Not boring. Believe me, you will not regret it. Lots of people on this page who are Dilraba fans will attest to that.

Beginning part of that show, there are some gaming scenes. If you and your mother are not into video games, you can just fast forward some of those scenes. You will not lose much context. However, if you are able to tolerate those scenes, just watch them on normal speed. There are some very interesting CGI used.

For instance, if you submit 50 now, they may say, No, I want you to reduce to 40 and re-submit for license. And you have to go back, edit your stuff and re-submit. This will waste a lot of time. Better to stick to the rule and submit 40.

40 is the new limit. If you look at The Autumn Ballad and Royal Feast. Both recently aired. Both just 40.

The Longest Promise? That one, I think 50 is what they hope to have. The censorship board will not give them 50. If they submit for airing license, they will forced to reduced to 40. Most likely, they will do their own reduction, before submitting. Because, it is better to do your editing now, and submit, then submit and be forced to change. A lot of time will be wasted.

This is different. This is not those Season 1 and Season 2 type of drama, like Joy of Life, for instance. They merely broke up into 2 parts, because, when combined, there will be a total of 43 episodes, which will not pass the airing license. Current limit is 40. So, to get around it, they deliberately split into 2.

But both parts have already been filmed and got the airing license. Whereas for Joy of Life, filming of season 2 is still on going, years after season 1 has finished airing in 2019.

So, a better example of what is happening to TBW is this recent drama called No boundary. It too, was split into 2 parts, both parts being filmed one after another and both received airing license round about the same time. No Boundary part 1 and 2 was aired one after the other, with only a short gap of 2 weeks.

That is why we are very confident that Part 2 of TBW will be shown shortly after Part 1 has ended.

Really? The novel version of Ji Yun He is more sincere than the drama version? Someone else said the drama version is pretty consistent with the novel version.

But, I am actually not too concerned. If they did make her more deceptive in the drama, they probably want to spice things up. Maybe they do this deliberately to show the changes in Yun He's character, over the course of her relationship with Changyi? Starting with being manipulative, her attitude changed, as she slowly fell in love with Changyi?

So, the drama pretty in line with novel.

The last I checked, the timing is really off. Not very much help at all. I am going to watch it raw, and then watch it later, when the subs are out in the official channel.

I did not read the novel; but the actor and actress who played the pair of characters, they really did a very good job. I felt for them.

Look at the airing schedule, which is in the Photos section. I think page 3. There are two rows, one pink and one light green. Look at the pick row, which is for VIP members. If we are watching the raw on unofficial channels, while waiting for eng sub from the official one, follow the VIP schedule. So tonight, 20 March, we get the 8th episode. And tomorrow, we get the 9th and so on.

Wow! And after that, we can have 2nd or even 3rd of wonderful discussion.

Another way of looking at this. If you managed to learn Chinese because of this, you ought to thank Youku. Your Chinese may come in useful, the next time a Chinese blockbuster Xianxia drama is released without Eng sub.

I share your sentiments. I did sense the chemistry in their relationship. But, knowing they are not the main couple, even though I did not read the novel, I sensed that their relationship may not last very long.

In a drama like this, they cannot give too much screen time to 2nd or 3rd couple. Or else, too much screen time will be taken away from the main couple, which most people come to watch.

So, do be prepared. There could be another couple relationship coming up, very good couple relationship, but another short one.

The longest lasting one will be between Ji Hun He and Changyi, for obvious reason.
