Lost count the number of times I shed tears, seeing how far the various characters are willing to go, to show love. Even on rewatch, after laying off the series for a month, I was not immuned to the many emotional moments.

Give you a reason to continue to part 2? Simple. Part 1 is only half the story. You need to watch part 2, so that you understand the complete story between the two leads, and some of the stories involving the side couples.

Actually, rewatch was more impactful, for a non-novel reader like me. Having watched both part 1 and 2 raw, watching it raw again helped me understand the overall plot a whole lot better. I was also able to understand part 1 better, compared to my first viewing. All of the decisions made by the key characters, they made perfect sense.

Just read. In China, they do not have a jury. Cases are decided by judges and what they call people's assessor's. They form like a committee to decide on cases. In name, may be different, but in substance, still the same. The prosecutors will need to convince a group of individuals that the defendants are guilty, using evidence and sound argument. Reba's acting will be key, and she will deliver.

They already have the airing permit. Now, it is all a question of post production, how fast they can wrap that up. Fantasy dramas can be tricky, because of the CGI involved.

They do. And this drama being supported by the Chinese government, the viewing audience will be huge!

We saw just how well she can hold that fierce look, with those piercing eyes of hers, threatening Shunde in TBW. Now, we wait to see her facial expressions in a courtroom, trying to convince the jury. It should be fun!

Can't wait to see her in PE! I wonder, how will we all react?? We shall see, once it is on our screen.

I hope I am too! Immortal Samsara already obtained airing license. If there is no delay, that one can go first, in June. LOA can then fit on nicely, in August.

If IS is delayed, due to post production, and LOA receives the permit in June, Youku can easily swap the two: show LOA in July, and then show IS in late August or early September.

Ideally, IS in June, followed by LOA in late August or early September.

Yes. Hopefully, Youku is sensitive to the pain TBW has caused to millions of fans worldwide.

LOA should be ready soon. Wrapped up filming last Nov. No reason why they cannot finish post production by June, submit for airing license and air it by August or something. The popularity of LOA may even help to build anticipation for PE, and the Chinese government will be very grateful to Youku.

Reaching 30 is something of a milestone in a person's life, for people in China. I think her fans in China will celebrate her birthday big time.

Reba is a fast learner. Maybe the first few takes could be a challenge for her. If they started filming in early March, it has been two months. She would have been totally immersed in her character by now. Totally agree with you, there is no problem for her to carry the show the rest of the way.

I suspect, all along, this has been the intention, to highlight the importance of her role and entice more young women in China to join as female prosecutors, just as YAMG was used to encourage more people to join the aerospace industry.

Whether end of June or early July, if well directed, I think post production will be a breeze. They should be able to air it in Oct.

Now, Youku must get Legend of Anle out before PE. The Chinese government will not be happy to have both Reba drama aired at the same day and time.

But, if PE does involve the use of handguns and assault rifles, it may be shown only at the 10 pm slot. Youku could always show LOA at the prime time slot, at 8 pm. That may work well too!

Yes. In the drama, we do not see those 6 years, as they fast forwarded it. But, yes, she was held in that prison for 6 long years. So when they met again after he had rescued her, they had to, sort of, get to know each other again. And they did. It was those times they spent at the hut by the lake, Changyi got to know ji Yunhe better, how much she treasured freedom, after being held a prisoner, first at the Ten Thousand Flowers Valley, and then by the grandmaster. Their relationship deepened when Changyi imprisoned her in that hut or house, because of time spent together.

She was also very very weak, from being tortured and experimented on for years. So, it was rather challenging for her, to decide what was best for their relationship.

It looks like Soangel has explained things from Ji Yunhe's perspective. We need to bear in mind, this is no ordinary romance. It is a romance between two different species. You will realise, even from Part 1, in many of the episodes, she was always asking him questions, to see how his species would react to various events. For instance, what would happen when one of the partners dies; what would happen if someone of his species told a lie.

So, yah, early in Part 2, she knew she was going to die. She would rather bring her lie to her grave, then risk making him sad the rest of his life. At that point, they were not married, so she thought he will be able find someone else to love, once she is gone from his life. She had no idea how he would react, if she told him the truth. So, she harboured a lot of mixed emotions.

But, keep watching. At E2 of Part 2, their relationship was still under construction. It will all end well.

Let me clarify. I do not think the production team will allow any actor to use real weapons. That will be far too dangerous. I mean, even if she is shown using a fake assault rifle, it will still be cool.

Dong Ta Wei's character already died? He is the ML, and they 'killed' him? So, they are relying on Reba's character to carry the show the rest of the way?

Wow! That isn't just a handgun, but an army rifle! Will be interesting to see if she is going to use that weapon in the drama. It will be totally cool, if she does.
