I would be super happy if i could understand 50% Korean. I understand the expressions and certain phases but beyond that has been impossible.

I doen't know if people are "bringing" the rating down. I assume most people have better things to do in their lives but I could be wrong.

However, there are more about rating in mydramalist -

When you move your cursor to the rating number, you can see more ratings (up to 4 ratings - currently watching, completed, dropped and varified/stars ratings). The overall number is supposed to be combined of all (with certain build up algorithm). Also, there are usually a time gap since the system doesn't run the numbers in real time. As you can imagine, for any drama, the rating from "dropped" would be lower than the other three numbers. Also, the number in the first could fluctuate from its eventual value as more people are not yet voted.

In addition, you can also see how individual episodes are rated when you click on Episode Guides.

Netflix is pacing their most popular series in such a way that we can't even consider cancelling the service. Smart. LOL

They are going to keep super secret about the storyline until a lot closer to the new season. They haven't said anything when the new season will be and the so-called "teaser" above is not really a teaser at all.

I didn't watch the American sitcom where this was based on. Therefore, I don't have a reference or bias on how the story should end as well as Woori's decision on who to marry.
Without mentioning any spoilers, I do agree with other's comments that the ending was an disappointment. However, this show has been struggling with character consistency and likeability, as well as the story (most of its main and secondary storyline). I don't think Woori's decision affected my rating of the show at the end.

Wow! That's great info. This is a 30-episode (lengthy) drama and we are only 2 episodes in. Some of the characters haven't even show up yet.
Who knows if the flashback of young Naksu is real or planted. Personally I'd rather Mu Deok just a random girl and Naksu was the missing elder daughter, aducted by her former master, planted fake memory and trained her to be assaisin to fullfil his goal.
We shall see. I am for a long ride.

We have shown in flashback that The four families all involved in the killing of Naksu's family when she was a young girl. Curious about the why. Maybe her family owned the secret of Alchemy of souls?
When Naksu's soul is in Mu Deok's body, is Mu Deok's soul in there as well or is it gone? We know they can put soul into a dead body. But since Naksu is dead when her nody was found, does it that Mu Deok's soul, who I assume was excha ged, is also gone?

That's enough reason to check it out. Plus, the cast and the trailor already got me hooked.

Everything started with the script but I don't think that was the problem. The show didn't get to a good start and never recovered because of the interpretation of the characters, including the supporting characters. For ons, I couldn't stand the images of quite a few of their supporting characters. I don't need them to be likable but they don't need to be a turn off neither. I don't blame the cast members and I think the casting and directing contribute to that. I am going to finish the remaining episodes (2 more to go). As much i hope to get some degrees of satisfaction toward the ending, i couldn't stop wondering what if.

Dropped this one after briefly watched the first 2 episodes. Just realized the story and characters does not resonate with my expectation.

I wish they made more announcement about the rest of the returning cast and the storyline.

I visited here to update Season 2 on my plan to watch list. The new clio implies the 4 main characters will be back. I hope we will see all the others who survive at the end of season 1 be back as well.

They says the drama will be shown from June 24 to Aug 12. With 8 episodes only, i wonder if they will show one episode per week.

Thanks. As ibread through more comments by others, i realized that pt. 2 is not widely available and some of us didn't know it exists. I doubt they would make a season 2 but unlike some other kdramas, they would havr enough materials to make a season 2. I would like to see more stories and development on other supporting characters than hw himself.

Does anyone recognize the actress who plays young Goo Ryun in Ep 14? She is Gal So Won and she has started acting as a very young age. I first saw her in "A Korean Odyssey (2017)", and she has becoming a beautiful young lady. Expect her to be great within a few years.

He has established to be the biggest villain in Kdrama/K Movie. But I can also see that his face also triggers a lot of hate and disgust for a lot of people.
