there're 16 eps. expect some unnecessary plotlines which are done to pad the screentime :/
korean TV producers should seriously consider cutting length of some series. majority of stories don't warrant 16/20 hrs of runtime :/
'Nevertheless' is really shallow on plot and idk why it is given 10 hrs of runtime. and even after this much runtime, there's barely any development or insight into any character (other than FL).
yeah let's hope romance is well written and executed :/

I feel like everyone hating on soo hyun forget that she isn’t watching the show with us the things we see she…
if makers gave us a bit of her perspective on these events instead of that 'dinner table scene with niece' in every damn ep, there would be less hate towards her character.
I agree with your point mostly. I thought she was justified in her anger/disappointment towards Ga On and her reservations towards Yo Han in ep 12 tbh. but sadly majority of viewers can't see that coz the hate train has already left the station :/

I really hope there isnt any love triangle. More mature approach & romance in kdrama that doesn’t involve nonsensical…

Unnecessarily so but I have come to realize "miscommunication" is a staple in Asian dramas.
well yeah. that's how many romances in asian series are written. some more so than the others :/

Yeah at least me too, i am so sad reading all of the recently comment here about how ga on is the true hope and…
I agree about SML. difference b/w him and ML is very visible. you can see he's trying to follow the script and director's commands only. usually actors/actresses add certain nuances in their behavior or expressions to provide a more holistic representation of character's psyche. tbh audience will always have a hard time appreciating portrayal of a character that has a wonky characterization.
also cast can still give a impressionable performance in that less time or small range of emotions. but like I said rest of them has given a decent performance. nothing standout except maybe President's portrayal which could be due the fact that his character is a derived from a real life former president :/

Do people hate this drama because the story is not going the way they want it to or because the way the story…
imo there should be no hate for portraying unhealthy relationships as they are. that part should actually be applauded. the problems are-
first off, there's little to no background/insight into the characters outside of FL even after 80 % of series is done. even ML.
secondly and mainly, this is way too stretched out for such a shallow plot. story would work better as a short 5-6 eps series or a movie.
thirdly, webseries level acting.

lol niece is given more screentime than Soo Hyun.
I'm going to catch a lot of heat for saying this in a forum drooling over ML but so far his performance seems to be just okay. his character stands out more coz of how series is done. writing/direction heavily favors ML. the rest of the cast (barring a few slip ups by SML) is doing a decent enough job in what they're given to work with. if asked to chose one among them, I'd say that the guy playing President is the best performer so far :/

Probably there will be other. I don't think it's the main one. Even when it was posted on SNS it was said that…
the blue one is good enough imo.

I like that one too. This one screams generic romance lol. It reminds me of those character posters in romance…
don't like these posters where characters occupy 80-90% of the frame :/

Worst part is people giving it pass cause it makes since actually it does not since the guy basically lie about…
this breakup was as cliche as they come. idk why viewers are trying to justify this or giving it a pass.

premise has so much potential than just being a mediocre revenge series against rich and powerful :/
it doesn't have be all '1984 big brother' style but series fails to capture the essence of society heading towards ethical and moral bankruptcy. like beating up some minorities or showing some slums and poor public transportation ain't it. they are trying to address how live court is making it worse but its not put across that well. there's an abundance of fascistic/capitocratic ideas that can be explored. I want to see where this subplot of President goes coz it looks interesting.
also there's a cop main character but they never show us how police works.

main actress can cry well. direction in those scenes are also done well. like the shot sits for a while before and after her crying starts.
