Title Boys in Love
While I agree with some of what you wrote, I got intrigued by your comment that "lack of an interesting storyline…
This series is not about the storyline; it's about boys in love. Most of them are navigating it for the first time and it's not always easy but on the whole, they're doing it rather well. There might be the occasional misstep but it soon passes. Why? Because these boys are thoughtful, they want their relationships to work, and the two main pairs are very different - Kim doing his best to pacify Mon's mother and the outgoing Kit nurturing the introspective Shane. Even with the two teachers there is a similar dynamic and look how far they've got. The boys are juggling their school lives with their love lives and it's entrancing and adorable. That's enough to keep one absorbed and it's all we need.
On I Promise I Will Come Back Jun 2, 2025
Both Nankrai and Victor find Tontae rather adorable (indeed, he is) and certainly have developing romantic feelings towards him. The big question is who will be the one he falls in love with. Nankrai has a head start but Victor is quickly catching up.

But Jinhoo saw their almost kiss.
While watching from afar with his binoculars? That wasn't Jun-ho. - it was a younger Korean. He then says, "Circle back and pick up Jun-ho and the others.".

The romance between Sun and Peace got off to a rocky start because of their individual circumstances. They know they like each other and also know they have to be very circumspect concealing their love as much as possible, especially to Joe and the son he's nominated to keep an eye on them. Peace chose an odd time to kiss Sun; good thing the Korean with the binoculars decided not to report it. At present, there is much 'business' to attend to and until things settle down, they have little chance to develop their relationship. Be patient. I'm sure the steamy kissing scenes (and possibly more) will be on our screens in due course.

When watching this, people should take into account that it's set in a remote rural village, so it's not a polished production set in urban locations. Accordingly, the music track is simple, featuring traditional instruments and melodies derived from Thai folk music. There are no sound effects, and none of the actors are well-known. It's a little rough round the edges, so to speak, but combined, all this just adds a certain charm to the production. All the actors are doing a good job. As for Loy and Kaew, a lovely looking pair who seem perfect for each other, one moment fighting, the next kissing passionately, which is really a feature of how close they are, all the while realising they know they have to keep their love a deep secret in a village where eveyone knows everyone else, it is very traditional and conservative, and where there are so many interpersonal relationships to contend with. We're now half way through the series and there is still much that will happen. Interestingly, there is no negativity in the YouTube comments that I find here. I think people should calm down and give it a go. It will be worth it, in the end.
On Mission to the Moon May 30, 2025
The two leads are undeniably attractive but apart from that, the series doesn't have much going for it. There's barely a storyline, nothing much happens and it's a little repetitive.
On The Ex-Morning May 29, 2025
The rapport and timing with Phi and Tam are first-rate, a mixture of harmony and bickering that carries the action, which is underlined perfectly with a music score that reflects every moment with precision. The story didn't move much but gosh, it was entertaining.

I thought Ep. 3 was an improvement on previous episodes. There are so many goodlooking boys and they sort of look rather similar, as if they were processed from the same facility. Nu does stand out though, with his sterner features. His rejection and criticisms of Sun didn't last long and soon crumbled. Sun turned out to be rather sweet and romantic and his heartfelt confession quickly led to Nu becoming his boyfriend. Where this leaves Chain, I'm not sure. Besides this storyline there is a completely separate one taking place in a high school that so far is completely unrelated, nor are any romances in the offing here. We'll just have to wait and see if that changes and if somehow the university and school plot lines converge.
On My Golden Blood May 28, 2025
Definitely one of the better BL vampire series. Joss and Gawin as Mark and Tong were marvellous, their love convincing and all consuming. There's a lot going for this and credit is due to all those concerned in its production.

Wtf is wrong with Mon‘s Mom?
Yes, Mon's mom is one of those women who like to exert their authority and control on people within her sphere of influence, be it her son or a teacher at his school. Having got her way and curtailed the trip to Pattaya, once home, he stormed upstairs to his bedroom without saying a single word to his mom, then after he'd cooled down, the inevitable confrontation occurred, but Mon used his wit and intelligence to counter his mother's arguments. Importantly, she is not against Kim being Mon's boyfriend, she is concerned he will be distraction to his studies, but Mon assuaged those concerns.

That was sweet. A little carried away at times, because the writer is female and isn't aware that boys only choke…
I'm pretty sure Per and Tar are just close friends and will not develop any romantic feelings towards each other. Having the other two pairs as boyfriends is sufficient.

I loved the interaction between TK and Victor in Ep 2. It actually felt like I was watching two real people navigating…
I think you're referring to a four part mini series called 'Infidelity, It’s a Disease' where what you're saying was mentioned in a review. Not having a script but just a storyline did work there, but it would only work in a simple romcom, and then only with talented actors who have a good rapport with each other.
On Loy Kaew First Love May 24, 2025
The story is a bit confusing which I put down to the editing. Being set in a tiny rural village, where everybody knows everybody else, is ripe for pettiness and bad behaviour. I'm also getting tired of guys punching each other for little reason, not just here but also in other shows. It seems to be a constant feature in Thai dramas. Why they have to resort to this so quickly is not good at all.
On Pit Babe Season 2: Uncut May 24, 2025
What to say about Willy. He's attractive bordering on cute, a super race car driver, a dynamic boxer... and though his persona is friendly, there's an underlying element of danger in his sex appeal, how he tries to get physically close to Babe to the point he can say he smells nice, but what's his end game? He knows Babe's relationship with Charlie is rock solid and that Charlie is incredibly possessive. Perhaps it's just a game. He doesn't seem to take anything that seriously - always smiling and lighthearted. The guy is an enigma.

Throughout the episode, Thun was looking at Keen with tenderness. From the time they were locked up together, both of them were going over what had occurred and apologising/conceding various matters, so when Keen caught Thun smiling and wanting to see him smile properly, Thun could control himself no longer and planted a kiss on Keen's lips. Keen subconsciously was probably waiting for something like this due to the number of times they'd fallen on top of each other and lingered with their faces almost touching. Something clicked with Keen and he responded with a kiss back, then it was no holds barred — passion plus.

We are at the point where Xiao Bai and Da Hei are fighting to stay together as a couple. In this ensuing battle, I think Xiao Bai's grandpa won't be a match for Da Hei's grandma, who will manage to persuade him to let the boys be together.
On The Ex-Morning May 23, 2025
There is no doubt this is very good and that Krist and Singto, both accustomed to working together, are at the top of their game. What's also amazing is how little their looks have changed - neither seemed to have aged at all, but that's typical with many Thai actors. Maybe it's something in the water that keeps everyone looking so young. No longer in the world of academia, here they are in the cutthroat world of news broadcasting and the setup looks most promising. Should be quite a wild ride.
