Just my opinion, but some of the best written and acted k-dramas are Noona Romances. For example: Something in…
I Can Hear Your Voice was so good

I love this drama so much it's already my favorite of 2025. the cooking competition had me on the edge of my seat! i love the survival element to this drama, she's really fighting for her life.

despite the king being a lunatic i still like him HAHA poor guy is surrounded by sinister ppl who murdered his mom, he's being drugged without knowing it, and has been assassinated how many times? no wonder he's outta his mind sometimes

the chemistry btwn the leads is TOP TIER just them exchanging looks had me giddy, but that ending to ep 4 had me kicking my feet fr

The tvN rating this weekend will be interesting. The reruns of the first episodes have done really well, better…
what was the ratings for the reruns compared to how it usually is?

Can someone give me some details about teleport array? What was the meaning at the end?
he teleports far away. it's still in the same world but it's so far that even a nascent soul cultivator would take years and years just to reach it from his current continent.

A question from an amateur (please don't stone me 😁): Why does an immortal master die? Isn't it a bit contradictory?
an immortal master is just someone who is a cultivator on the PATH to immortality, and they have a bigger lifespan than normal humans but they can't live forever.they have to keep cultivating to the next level to expand life span. so a foundation cultivator will die at age 200 if he doesnt become a core cultivator for example

Her character has been overall very disappointing and lacking any real depth as an individual much less connection…
lol no i was saying senior chen (who han li kept feeding pills) served no purpose, not NGW

i don't mind FL when she's independent, and I would say she didn't serve a purpose as FL (all those things you mention, she doesn't need to be involved in a romance to do) but now that you mention it she also didn't do much. i remember when she sent off someone to deliver the flower to the yan stronghold (a flower that she fought to the death for) and then didn't even check to see why the person didn't come back. most of her character is "told" to us but not shown, and what is shown is inconsistent with the capable persona she's set up with and that a person with golden core should have.

I’m on the last episode and I’m very confused so the FL basically screws him over with all of his cultivation…
Her character has been overall very disappointing and lacking any real depth as an individual much less connection with HL. It’s disappointing bc I initially wanted to root for her bc she’s introduced as this very capable, badass cultivator and I love strong FLs. But it seems like every time she interacts with HL, not only does she lose brain cells so does he and they both start acting like they have rocks for brains. It just gives very forced and OOC.

She’s at the age of someone’s grandmother, I’m not buying this tsundere UWU act that male authors love to give their waifus in lieu of actual interesting personalities.

Yes, by chance it turns out that Han Li’s cultivation being depleted is actually a push in the right direction because his technique requires it for core formation but SHE doesn’t know that. For all she knows, she just set this man back decades and he’s not able to easily rejuvenate his cultivation like she is, plus has a fake spirit root. No real apology or efforts to make amends? Just weird tsundere act and lying about her name to escape accountability and as some sort of haha moment bc of her crush on him. Very meh FL.

she definitely is my fav. I think whole mainland love her. even though there was no CP. It not stop netizens for…
Yeah man even with the spoilers context of the full novel she’s still boring as hell. When he comes back to the continent and finds out she’s getting married, it makes 0 sense that he should care, he barely knows her and it’s been hundreds of years where he hardly even remembered she existed. It feels like he turns so OOC whenever she’s involved. It’s the definition of a forced Romance.

The fact that Han Li so easily believed Nangong Wan’s “cousin” lie really shows how little he actually knows…
It just feels especially shallow bc the only reason they’re even a thing is bc of some aphrodisiac and them having random sex where neither were willing and consenting. She doesn’t know him well either. There’s no development and understanding between them.

Hell, Wang Chen probably has more substance in his connection to Han Li even though they’re enemies and he thought he was Li Feiyu 😭😂
