I’m not saying the drama is bad—I’m actually really enjoying it. I just feel that the plot and acting are not exactly chef’s kiss. The visuals, however, are beautiful. With good-looking leads, poetic cinematography, and well-shot fighting scenes, it’s still very enjoyable. But still an eye-candy drama.

This isn’t really a masterpiece. The plot is fairly average, and the acting isn’t particularly strong either. Even though the drama is quite slow-paced, the ratings are still increasing. It’s definitely an eye candy — with good-looking leads and beautiful cinematic shots.

In the first half of the drama, I felt quite uncomfortable about him. He seemed to live as if he didn’t care about anything in Jianghu, yet he was still controlling things indirectly. The best example was when Yuzhi and CZ ran away from their sect to MQY for medicine. Even if he wasn’t the main villain, I still didn’t think he was a good person.

Previously i guessed him. but i think that eyes belongs to the father of Yuzhi.

watching ep 31. I think I know the eyes of the man in black. but this drama is really a mess.

Because Tencent usually release the previews of the following day eps and the day after following day eps for their drama.

I’ve already completed more than half of the novel, so I knew these scenes would appear in these episodes. Still, when I watched them in the drama, I literally forgot to breathe.

i haven't read the novel, just completed 30 eps. I think the man in black is Qi Yun Ke or Li Wen Xun

I really don’t understand CZ. She keeps running away from the Qingyue Sect and then coming back again and again.It feels like the plot is just repeating the same cycle.

Watching ep 26, those so called rightous sect leaders boil up my blood

At the beginning, ZYR’s character really frustrated me because I couldn’t get his manipulative and scheming behavior. But now I actually love how ZYR is portraying him. However, after watching episode 17,I’m starting to have some concerns about CZ.

Oh, I see. I’ve noticed in many web-novel adaptations, the black/red flag male lead is often toned down in the drama compared to the original novel.

I am just watching ep 12. Is it worth watching anymore?
