Before I started to watch C wuxia. I believed that meditation makes ppl more and more calm, peace as a result of a mind improving. Now I see the opposite. Even the righteous sects are doing according to the law of jungle.
Please can someone explain? In most series the protagonist is obviously struggling to develop, but ultimately…
First I started to watching the donghua I felt as same as u. and now I think the author of the novel tried to show the reality behind the journey to immortality. In the most of the dramas the protagonist is a white person or there he has fair and emotional reasons to do bad things. Here this drama shows the reality of the world of wuxia. Everyone is competing in a race. Mortals want to become cultivators so they could be powerful than others, cultivators want to become immortals, to gain more and more power. I see the rule of the jungle in the drama. You have a very difficult target and there are less resources, so they fight. To fight and to survive in the fight, they must have weapons. So that is what. As a Buddhist from the birth, it was very hard to me to understand why the people who cultivated and meditated are more villainous. I believed that meditation made people calmer, nicer, and more peaceful.…
I started this drama bcz of YY and I like these types of dramas. Watched only 5 eps of the drama. As a big fan of the donghua. If I compared both drama vs donghua, I think it won't be fair.
This drama was my type. I really love. I still watched the drama daily despite my hectic schedule. For me, this is the best drama of this year. The best of this drama is autopsies and investigations, as well as the love chemistry between the couple. The couple they have made for each others. The acting of the leads were very pleasant.
From yesterday EPs, I noticed many suspicious behaviors from someone. Before yesterday, I did not see like that. Are you feeling the same way, or is what I saw because I already know who is the culprit?
Okay, I just read only few last EPs. Not the full novel. Empress going to rebel against the emperor and there is a conversation between royal mom and crown prince at that moment
"Zhao Shuhua had completely turned her back to him. “You don’t understand why I wanted you to abandon everything and take this path. There’s only one reason: as a son, you should avenge your father and take back everything that belongs to you.”
Yan Che opened his mouth but couldn’t utter a word. “Mother, you mean… but… how… how is this possible…”
“He never intended to make you Crown Prince, and even if he did, he would have deposed you sooner or later.”
After a brief pause, Zhao Shuhua continued, “Even the most careful disguise has flaws, but too many people in this world are blind to what’s before their eyes.”
Zhao Shuhua gave a bitter laugh and said no more, entering the inner tent.
Watching Zhao Shuhua’s figure disappear behind the curtain, Yan Che opened his mouth but still couldn’t say anything.
He stood there for a long time, feeling as if his entire body had been plunged into an ice cave. After a long while, he walked out of the tent in a daze. Only upon seeing the soldiers throughout the camp did he come to his senses, but he still couldn’t believe it.
How could the Emperor Father he had respected for over twenty years be an impostor?!
I also thought he's a good guy. But I read some chapters in the novel and the empress said it. After reading, it, I discuss that with a novel reader in the above spoilers' discussion. So that is it.
i read some parts of the novel. After that, I read some spoilers from the novel readers. How funny the story is? As you guess, who is the real culprit behind all these
I watched 10 EPs. Then I watched EP 15,20,30,40 and 41. I skipped some scenes in those EPs. It's very Gd but hard to watch. I love this drama a lot. But I couldn't bear that much stress. So I had to do that.
