Love and Redemption has a very happy ending. His character does suffer a lot in that show.
I will try that show again (just becouse i want to see CY happy in the end!) but it is just that....the dumb fl make it so hard to watch it!

1. Cheng Yi performance as LLH 2. Bromance 3. Story 4. All the rest I have to admit it, this drama is not perfect but it is so interesting and so well done as a whole that is hard not to be fascinated and involved by it. I always just rewach some episodes, but with this drama.... I have never rewached the whole show so many time as i did with this, it just attract you.
I just noticed that LLH and Yufei will be togheter in General Order!!! I mean i read lots of comments here about Hero legend and the future re-bromance beetwen CY(LLH) and XSY(DFS) and everytime they mentioned GO i just trought of HL instead 😅 Don't know why.
So now...WOW! Just WOW!!😍😍😍 I love so much the interaction beetween those 2. I mean, everytime they meet alone, it start a sweet music that softend the mood and they always, always smile at each other the whole time that they talk!!! The whole time!!! So sweet!!! They are just adorable togheter!!!🥰🥰🥰 I hope they preserve that complicity in General Order!!!
(And I want a clear HE for at least one of those CY's wuxia/xianxia project or i'm out for blood this time!!!)

Sometime you know people for many years and never bond with them very much, some other time you know people for just few days and immediatly bond. Seems just that the 2 of them are very compatible. And after everything FDB learnt from LLH already after the 1st case i can totally undestand his complete admiration for him! Also it would have been hard to tell theyr 6y history in the drama with everything that they put in it, and we probably would have missed theyr first funny meeting 😂 Not to mention FDB charactr grow!

DFS novel version is not as close to LLH as in the drama. They run away togheter from JLQ base, then the next time we see DFS is when he is waiting LX for theyr fight. After FDB(that didnt even know that LLH was LX) receive the letter DFS just silently go away.
There are lots of sweet and funny moments between LLH and FDB but some are just so meaningfull.
When LLH close with his ex and feel down, sad and is also weak and sick he go back to his home to rest and find FDB preparing a meal. For a moment he has that annoyed look on his face when he see him, but still bear with him and change his attidude. It is like he knows that FDB is not the company he want in that moment but the company he needs.
Then they start to talk about LX, he also get serius and angry like never did since he was LLH and decide to let his past go, but this time he did get angry. But what FDB says make him calm again and he admit that his own past self would have been happy to know that someone undestood him so well after 10 y!!! That is soo sweet! And now he feel so much at easy with FDB that he decide to offer him some wine from his master bottle and declare that he is his new friend!His best friend! So sweet!So lovely! That really is one of the best scene beetween the 2 of them. Love FDB righteousness and sincerity and LLH good and smart character.

Good bromance and amazing fight choreography. I am not even interested in fight so if i notice the greatness of theyr work it means that they are really amazing! Loved the last battle with the 2 friends protecting each other in desperate time,so touching.
It deserve an higher score. The story is simple but work, the ost is good and Wen Sheng was spectacular in his role, he didnt even have much experience but his performance as an actor here was great!

Even if i think that, if the cctv version is the NE, they called it alternate ending only becouse is explicitly sad while this one give at least some space to immaginaton even if probably is the same one. Hope to be wrong. Maybe if the cctv ending is for real another one and they show it in a completely different way from this one like not using this hairstyle, using another hayrpin or not showing the white four coat anywhere, then i will belive that this one is really a different one! Lets wait and see even if i hope that for when this ending is relesed (in 2 w?) i've overcome the pain lol
