Noo i can’t take this, not another ethereal Hmh character who’s gonna tear my heart apart, even if it’s only a 10 min cameo like BYJ i know he will 😭
Even if that “voice melodious and pleasing to the ear” seem so fitting for him, will we hear him sing? I hope so, even a little bit for the part make him uses his voice 🤞
And gjm😐.... wishing Hmh all the best!! I’m super excited for this role but also worried 😓 All the best Hmh, ALL THE BEST!!

Title Fangs of Fortune Spoiler
It is very victim-blaming to accuse ZYZ of LL’s actions and all this is incredibly one-sided, it does not consider…
And the double standard are striking!
It blame ZYZ for LL’s actions for the exact same reasons it excuse LL for his own actions.

LL wants to be understood, so it’s ok for him to kill, openly go against everything he knows ZYZ values, and deliberately hurt him. But ZYZ wanted to be understood, too. He wanted LL to understand that mutual understanding and respect between demons and humans were essential because the two realms exist in balance. So why does ZYZ’s desire to make LL understand become a reason to blame him for LL’s actions, while LL’s desire to be understood justifies those same actions?

Why is ZYZ expected to accommodate LL’s feelings when LL is the one who deliberately acted against him, knowing how much it would hurt ZYZ? LL is the one that should have handled the situation differently, managed his emotions, or found another way to express his opposition without resorting to such extreme actions. Yet LL’s responsibility is erased while ZYZ’s suffering is completly overlooked!

ZYZ had to watch his best friend kill humans, knowing how much they meant to him, and go on a rampage that claimed even innocent lives. He was betrayed and abandoned by LL in the worst possible way, despite already being distressed by what he had witnessed in prison bc LL wasn't the only one who suffered for that, yet somehow his rage is used to justify his actions, while the pain he inflicted on ZYZ is ignored or even blamed on ZYZ himself.

This is an incredibly one-sided double standard, in which ZYZ is expected to adjust to LL while LL is excused for the harm he chooses to cause.

And it even omit essential scenes to support this interpretation. LL betrayed and abandoned ZYZ on top. Then ZYZ patiently showed LL the opposite world so they could discover and understand it together, develop a wiser and more complete perspective, and remain true to their promise to protect the demon realm by protecting both realms. Yet somehow, ZYZ is blamed for not anticipating LL’s ruthless actions or doing more to prevent them, rather than LL being held responsible for the evil choices he actually made.

It even turn something as beautiful and meaningful as ZYZ’s happiness at finally being understood, something he really deserve, into something negative somehow. When being happy to be understood and being happy about the suffering that led to that understanding are two completely different things! The drama itself shows ZYZ crying and suffering over what happened to ZYC, even though ZYZ helped him avoid an even worse fate by killing WX, while ZYZ himself was completely alone when he went through his own ordeal.

And this is the problem with disregarding a character’s pain, feelings, principles, actions, and morals, it distorts everything that follows. ZYZ’s desire for mutual understanding is reduced to a pick-me need for approval, his attempts to reach LL become grounds for blaming him for LL’s actions, and his happiness at finally being understood is twisted into something negative despite his visible distress over ZYC’s suffering.

Everything that gives meaning to ZYZ’s behaviour is stripped away until his actions can be interpreted in the worst possible light, with essential scenes omitted and glaring double standard at play. I’d say this is a clear example of character assassination or vilification. And it’s such a shame to see this done to a character as fantastic, nuanced, interesting, and charming as ZYZ.

That said, I love the parallel between LL and Zyc. Zyz shows both of them the other world they hate and opens their eyes to it and then when they were at their lowest LL betrays and abandons Zyz, hurting him in the worst possible way, while Zyc chooses to follow the same path of Zyz and walk beside him.

The difference, Zyz gives both of them the chance to grow and become better, but only Zyc takes it. Zyz shows them a better path and they choose whether to betray it or to follow it at his side.

Unpopular opinion but honestly the most annoying character for me is Zhao Yuan Zhou. Don't come for me, I'm a…
It is very victim-blaming to accuse ZYZ of LL’s actions and all this is incredibly one-sided, it does not consider ZYZ at all! Nothing about his actions, his emotions, his principles, his feelings, or his morals.

It places the burden on ZYZ to understand the person who abbandoned and betrayed him, while barely holding that person accountable for his repeated decisions to act violently, disregard others’ feelings, and reject opportunities for peaceful resolution.

LL wanted to be understood, but so did ZYZ. The difference is that ZYZ repeatedly tried to reach LL, while LL repeatedly let his own anger destroy those opportunities. Blaming ZYZ for LL’s choices is not only unfair to ZYZ and unreasonable, it also ignores the very pattern of behaviour that repeatedly led LL to ruin things for himself and hurt the people around him.

It also infantilize LL as though he lacks the convictions and maturity to be held responsible for his own decisions. LL is one of the greatest and most powerful demons of the wilderness, as old as ZYZ and presumably just as wise. Why should he be treated as he cannot be expected to reflect, exercise restraint, or take responsibility for his decisions? He has his own beliefs and desires, and he is perfectly capable of making choices and being accountable for them.

For me this interpretration is offensive to both and make no sense at all.

As an action lover, no matter how many times I see HMH’s multiple spins with that flaming spear creating a wall of fire and smoke, it's absolutely fantastic!!! 🔥🔥🔥

Even the strength, agility, and balance he needs to stay steady with one hand while spinning and performing acrobatic stunts with bow and arrows, leave me in awe! ✨ Knowing he did it himself just amazing! 💥✨🔥

I'm genuinely overwhelmed, this was an intensely moving and beautifully executed work. After vos disappointment,…
If you’re referring to the scene where he slaps himself, that was actually improvised by HMH! It really shows not only his talent but also how deeply he was immersed in the character and how thoroughly he understood him. That was such a heartbreaking scene, it’s still so painful to watch, even now that I’ve watched and rewatched the drama so many times that I’ve lost count. That’s just how realistic his performance was 😭💔

Fantastic great demon ZYZ! He made another guest appearance in this HMH concert too! All HMH characers made an apparence, but ZYZ just hits harder 😭💔

And once again, it broke my heart just with his presence and his sweet, sweet smile, surrounded by that sadness and heart-wrenching, heartwarming feeling he brings to life.😭💔

Irreplaceable and unique, the one and only great demon ZYZ!!! 💖💖

OMG, what a concert! The energy was insane, and the dancing wow! He danced like there was no tomorrow, completely exhausting himself but radiating happiness!🤩

And the singing was perfect!✨ He mastered so many complex songs. I can only imagine him repeating them endlessly until perfection became effortless lol!

I wish there was a full video bc it was THAT amazing! Every song was challenging, every dance so demanding, yet he was absolutely fantastic! 💚💚💚
