Oh yeah, Immortal Samsara… I left some very long, negative comments about the fl there, and let’s just say the ending wasn’t really to my liking either 🤣

But in this case, the fl seems to really care and love the ml, and i like her a lot for this. So I don’t think something like that will happen.

Only to watch memory seems too easy. I think she will time-travel, not with her physical body bc we already know that she kill herself as a princess and the story can’t possibly end there. But she will be reborn (backward through time), with the mirror that let her remember her different life, or if censored, it could be (present)consciousness transmigration in the new body, with the mirror as a medium.
And she will live her three lives in parallel, but in reverse compared to HY three lives.

Most likely, her third life will be his first one. So she will know everything about him, while he won’t even know who she is,just like what’s happening now for Hy.
If it really works like this, who knows who she will love at that point, the human or Hy?
She will finally have her answer about who he truly loves, since she’ll be in the same situation.

And it would also be interesting to see how she comes back to the present, if she ever does, or how they meet again with all their memories.

I just hope for a HE. They’ve already had BE for far too many other lives.
We’ll have to wait and see, but even just hypotheses are interesting!

Before the drama started, Hmh talked about a mobius string (non-linear time).

Already from the 1st ep we know that in his previous life, HY was a demon who was killed by the princess. In the trailer, we also hear him say, “It turns out I was human.” So the sequence is:
1: human
2: demon
3: present-day Hongye
That’s linear time from his perspective.

But since we know that XY meets him in all of those lives, it suggests that she is the one moving backward through time (non-linear time).

This really reminds me of Doctor Who, the 10th/11th Doctors and their relationship with River Song. Their timelines run in parallel but in opposite directions, when she remembers him more, he remembers her less, and vice versa. Tragic, even without the xianxia elements. 😭

The moment Neo mentioned the mobius strip, he spoiled everything. 🤣

Better, I thought I might have missed some interview or hint.
I mean, look at how much material there is to keep up with, livestreams, reality shows, interviews, endorsements, promotions, dramas, reuters etc. He’s worked so much!

I’m totally up for him playing new roles, but I can’t think of this as his last fantasy role, he’s just too good at it. It’s like saying this will be Da Vinci’s last invention. 😆

No one plays fantasy role better than Hmh.💗
It may be because of his perfect, dreamy aura that make him the ideal fit for the fantasy incarnation of the ml in this kind of drama. Unfortunately, some people get blinded by the title given to the role and become unable to recognize the differences in characters and story, which is such a pity.

I love fantasy/historical/costume dramas, and let’s be honest, these kinds of dramas offer far more freedom and greater possibilities in terms of storytelling and character development than other dramas. But, I don’t want him to get stuck in few genre too. And I'm sure that when he will find some compelling characters in modern/adventure/thriller drama, with good script and solid crew, he will definitely take it on as he loves challenging himself every time.

It’s been weeks with no rest thanks to a crazy-packed schedule, and he’s even needing IVs just to keep going!
And yet, he still goes all out in the action scenes, jumping, falling, hitting, and spinning on suspended wires like a pro. 💥

I know it’s still too soon to say, but I really hope HMH will sing an OST for his character. It’s like he would give an even more deeper personal touch to his character when he sings about him.

I really like the fact that they don’t talk about it. He did so much for her too, it would feel unfair to focus only on her sacrifices. And the fact that we don’t see them explicitly discussing the sacrifices they've made for each other shows that what truly matters isn’t what they’ve lost for each other, but what they feel for one another. That’s such a sweet and touching thought.

Maybe they even do know about each other’s sacrifices, but the decision not to show them talking about it gives the story balance and depth, shifting the focus to their sincere interactions rahter than plot point. It makes this drama more genuine and sweeter than others.
