Are you thinking right? she can't just disclose that she is Ming Xian. May be she couldn't trust him fully. The…
She had to officially hide her identity as a man, but she showed no signs of discomfort wearing women’s clothing or behaving femininely. It’s hard to believe that just a few months were enough to turn her into the "perfect woman" she is now. This suggests she always had some level of freedom to express her true self. We also saw her life in the brothel, and even there, she consistently displayed a very feminine side, nothing indicates she had to fully embody a boy outside of her official role.
And she clearly had social skills even before the brothel. The way she treated little SF was open, friendly, and encouraging. She even revealed her identity to him without hesitation, completely nonchalant about it.
Also, you can’t guarantee anything. I watched the show too, and I don’t see all the trauma you're trying to exaggerate just to justify her wrong behavior.
She clearly cares about her best friend, which proves she’s capable of opening up and being emotionally sincere. And she definitely understood the male lead loved her, getting him to fall for her was part of her plan from the beginning, to exploit him. She just never showed any real care for his emotions and kept using him even after knowing how deeply he cared. And that’s it’s manipulative and cruel especially when she doesn’t even show any remorse or guilt for it. Just cruelty.
By the way, I never said she had an easy life but trauma is no excuse to continuously exploit those who genuinely care for her. It’s not even a matter of “understanding”, she’s not stupid. At that point, it’s not even about survival or fear it becomes a matter of personality, conscience, and emotional logic, all of which she completely lacks when it comes to him.
And trauma isn’t conveniently selective. You can’t use it to justify her behavior toward the male lead and then ignore how differently she treats others. The male lead doesn’t trust anyone, not just selectively when it suits him. That’s how trauma works it affects everything, not just the parts that are easiest to excuse.
And one last thing, if you assume that, just because he became a disciple of that master, he learned to trust people through her, then you clearly didn’t even understand the most basic aspect of the male lead’s trauma: he can’t trust anyone. That’s the core of his character. How can you be so willing to dive deep into the complexities of the female lead and be so eager to complicate and excuse everything on her’s side, yet completely overlook the most obvious part of the male lead’s psychology? Your assumption shows bias.
I don’t understand how he bought her lie in the first place. I think this is all self deception 😅😭
She’s not like that. Even when she lived as a man, she still seemed used to being a girl and open to others. Not completely, but enough that she even opened up to a girl to the point of being ready to sacrifice her life for her. She let the second male lead believe she was who he thought she was. She lied so much to JBZ when he found out the truth, but with the2ml, she didn’t even try that hard to lie.
And after the stone engraving, it’s hard to believe she didn’t understand his love for her.
He had an even darker past, and his trauma was rooted in trust. He only managed to overcome that, for her, for love, and still, she betrayed him. Again.
Are you thinking right? she can't just disclose that she is Ming Xian. May be she couldn't trust him fully. The…
That’s not true. Where did you see his master teach him how to trust people? She was probably the only one he ever trusted, if even that, we haven’t seen much of their backstory. All we know is that she saved him and he cares deeply for her.
Meanwhile, the fl had her master, her pet, little SF, and later even opened up enough to make a best friend she’s willing to die for. Not to mention, when SF recognized her, she made little to no effort to defend herself and even let him help her, confirming his suspicions. That doesn’t sound like someone with deep trust issues, which makes what she did to JBZ even worse. Also despite living as a man, she adapted quickly to being a woman, this means she had some freedom.
JBZ, on the other hand, won’t even eat or drink anything others have touched. Everything points to him having a much deeper trauma around trust and yet, he overcame it for her.
So when it’s ‘trauma vs. trauma,’ I can’t justify her actions. He was in a worse situation on the trust side and still managed to open up to her and she responded with lies and deception even after everything he did for her.
He’s so heartbroken over someone he said he"used". That shows how deeply he cares. JBZ is truly too good, and it makes me scared for what might happen to him this second time. MY was just too cruel.
I don’t understand how he bought her lie in the first place. I think this is all self deception 😅😭
This whole second fall wasn’t necessary. She could’ve just asked for his help. She knows he loves her, he even risked his life to cover for her lie. How could she still not trust him, even now? He’s always been there for her, ready to help, even in that moment of complete betrayal. For her to continue to manipulate him is just too cruel and unfair.
I don’t understand how he bought her lie in the first place. I think this is all self deception 😅😭
It’s the first time he wanted to trust someone once outside the abyss. He doesn’t know how to handle the feeling, whether to believe in it or not, even though logic is probably screaming at him not to.

Even after her betrayal, he didn’t abandon her. How she could believe that, after everything he’s done for her, he wouldn’t do whatever he could to save her, if only she told him the truth is beyond me.
I also read the comment before watching the episode, I shouldn’t have done that. The only thing I could think while he was carving the name on the stone was: 'write Minghao, write Minghao' 🤣😭.
Hmh was fantastic in this episode. Every look he gave her was different from how he looked the others. The pain of betrayal was written all over his face.
And when THAT happened, the agony in his eyes was absolutely heartbreaking😭.
Rewatching some eps while waiting for the new ones. And how cute is little JBZ? He really does resemble HMH, they even added the beauty mark near his eye! So cute!
"Yunhe Data"🔹 and "Dengta"🔸 are both data analytics platforms, but they serve different purposes and audiences.
Youku (owned by Alibaba) uses Dengta 🔸 internally because it's part of the Alibaba ecosystem and has direct backend access to Youku's data (making it the most accurate for Youku shows). Yunhe 🔹 provides cross-platform analysis (Youku, iQIYI, Tencent Video, etc.).
Yunhe 🔹 may use Dengta 🔸 data (along with others) as a reference when analyzing Youku content, since Dengta 🔸 has the best access to Youku's internal numbers.
So if Dengta’s 🔸 data is corrupted or bugged 🕷, Yunhe's 🔹🕷 data for Youku content may also be affected.
In LITC, at the beginning of the first episode, JBZ wins the tournament, and blessed rain saves all the people of his kingdom. This feel like an ester egg. 😭
Since FOF, I'm all in on HMH's microexpressions, so now, when he's on screen, I don’t know whether to watch his face or read the sub. I'm missing so much content here! 🤣🤣

This is my first time watching a drama as it airs, and it’s so sloooow.
