He didn’t kill anyone. He went there to negotiate a truce, it wouldn’t have been wise to kill someone and…
Chill, girl. You stopped at ep1, how can you know what’s normal in that world? A weak demon is killed in the street as if it’s nothing. It makes sense to assume that casualties are expected on both sides in a demon/demon hunter fight. So even if he had killed a hunter in a fight and no one mentioned it or even cared throughout the whole drama, that means it’s consistent with that world’s logic.
Even so, he didn’t do it. 🤣 And if logic isn’t your friend, the novel, which is a transposition of the drama, have a whole sentence clarifying it 😆That countdown he does before the 2ml pulls out the sword? That’s the countdown to the threat. The sword is removed, and the injured guard is helped back up. Maybe the drama intentionally left out the scene to give the ml a more ambiguous vibe at the beginning, or maybe it was a minor editing oversight, unfortunately there are a few in the drama.
So relax, he didn’t do it. And if it shocked you that much, no one is forcing you to watch it. I’m just giving the correct explanation and pointing out why it makes a lot more sense that he didn’t do it even without the novel to confirm it.
lol Uh, no. This is more like a friendship drama. We viewers that completed the drama wished it was about romance.…
You left a comment down, so you read that the triangle is on interpretation, not explicit, and not even the usual kind if you really want to see it. lol But if you don’t like good relationships between all the leads, that’s your problem. 😌
the ML just killed some innocent dude in Ep 1 how do we justify that
Well, calling innocent dude one of the many trained guards surrounding the ml, all heavily armed and ready to attack him en masse, seems like a bit of a stretch. But ml didn’t. It becomes obvious once you watch the drama. That’s what a strategic threat looks like.
ML just murdered someone in Ep 1 and it already has big love triangle vibes. Drop at Ep 1
He didn’t kill anyone. He went there to negotiate a truce, it wouldn’t have been wise to kill someone and then ask for a collaboration. No one mentioned it in the whole drama, and Zyc was out for blood, he only needed an excuse to kill Zyz on the spot. Plus, the drama makes it clear that ml is a wise, good, noble great demon.
Even so, he needed to make it clear that his power was overwhelming, that he could have killed everyone there with a single word if he had wanted to and he had to act in a menacing and intimidating way to force them to listen. In fact, he stopped fighting, allowed himself to be stabbed, and willingly submitted to a cell he could have escaped from at any time, as if the iron bars weren’t even there. He was clearly seeking the most effective way to get his point across.
And the drama focuses on themes of found family, bromance and romance, with the ml that shares a deeply meaningful relationship with both the fl and the 2ml, such a refreshing take. Not for everyone, but it’s something really special and beautifully executed.
I love this love triangle! It reminds me of the scene where they tie red threads around their wrists, with Zyz in the middle and Zyc and Wx on his sides. 💘 That’s not even symbolic anymore! It’s clearly showing that Zyz is deeply important and shares a meaningful relationships with both of them!
I just love that scene and all the moments they share together. Most of the time, I don’t even know who I like more or who to choose, so it’s easier for me to just love both of them with ZYZ! He needs so much love, so I’m totally fine thinking that both of them share such a caring, meaningful, and deep connection with him first. He deserves all the love and care in the world. 💖
I love the romance! They are just so sweet together. Tbh, the more c-dramas I watch, the more I appreciate this romance. Even with little time, it’s sweet, deep, and heartfelt, a joy to watch their little moments. And I’m absolutely crazy for the scene in which Zyz endures unbearable pain while imagining a simple, normal life with Wx. That is one of the most meaningful and romantic scenes I’ve ever seen, so heartbreaking. I also love that throughout the series, Zyz is always there, putting an arm out to protect Wx from danger and wind, showing his care for her in all the drama.
I even love the bromance a lot. I'm ok with Zyz🧡Wx, Zyz🧡Zyc and Zyz🧡Zyc/Wx. These relationships are all so beautifully handled that I adore them.
ep 17 has got me in a puddle of tears and i already know its just going to get worse
Episode 17 was one of the worst. 💔😭 And one of HMH’s best performances. The way he changed expressions within few secs, delivering so much without saying a single word. He showed such incredible acting skills, painfully fantastic. 💔😭😭😭
Hello everyone,I have a slightly off-topic question for you.Many dramas have a maximum of 40 episodes.Some older…
In mid 2025, the 40 eps limit was removed. However, longer dramas are scrutinized more carefully during the review and approval process, as china want to promote higher quality content and avoid watered down dramas.
If the two series were produced before the limit was lifted, it is likely that either the shorter one did not have enough material for more than 40 eps, or it was simply not approved to go beyond that limit.
I sawthis drama when it was released now I forgot a lot of things.. I will re watch it again.. but can anyone…
Zyz Zyz is the vessel of the malicious energy of the world. A vessel that must always exist, and when one dies, another is born. This malicious energy can take over his body in moments of great vulnerability, or on red moon night, during which the malicious energy becomes particularly strong. When it overwhelms him, he is no longer in control of his own body and, possessed by the malicious energy, he begins to hurt everyone.
The pain of harming others, even the ones he loves, with his own body and against his will is unbearable to him. So he wants to die, but he cannot. If he does, another innocent person will inherit the same burden, the same torment of losing control and hurting others against their will. Or someone evil may be reborn as the vessel and wield that power to destroy a world he would not even be part of. So he forces himself to live, bearing the burden of sins he did not commit.
LL After ZY and LL discovered demons being tortured by humans, LL abandoned ZY and went on a killing spree, turning his violence toward innocent humans as well.ZY tried to stop him, but in doing so he inadvertently burned LL with the Ever-Burning Fire, a power ZY had accidentally absorbed only a short time before, without even knowing what it was.
Later, the Goddess, whose duty was to maintain the balance between the two worlds, judged LL guilty of harming humans and deemed him a danger to both realms. ZY was the only one strong enough to confront LL, so she asked for his help. She even forgot that the two of them were friends, and in order to help her preserve the balance, ZY was forced to confront his former friend to help the Goddess imprison him. This was meant as a way to save LL, giving him time to heal, as he would have died from the wound caused by the Ever-Burning Fire, and only his birthplace (the prison itself) could have healed him, while also giving him time to reflect on his mistakes.
However, the moment they confronted him, LL attacked the Goddess. So when he was sealed away after the battle with ZY, LL felt betrayed by him, both because he was imprisoned and because ZY did not share his ill intent toward humans, choosing instead to protect both races by protecting the balance.
Because of this, LL developed resentment toward ZY. In truth, even before their separation, it was clear that LL disliked, and even envied, the interest and fairness ZY showed toward humans, as Li Lun favored demons and considered humans inferior.
After being imprisoned and left alone with his negative feelings, his jealousy and anger toward ZY only grew stronger, especially when he later saw the close bond ZYZ built with his companion. From this, LL’s strong hatred and desire to kill ZYZ.
Glory wasn't bad. He had more screentime in Glory than TUS. He was absent for 7 episodes in TUS.Yu Zheng manipulated…
I'm watching TUS rn, i'm at ep9 . I find unfair and hypocrital how Ljl was treated in glory and you say it wasn't bad in comparison of TUS? I'm watching it only for Hmh's Hong Ye and you say that he was hated by the author and his character treated even more unfairly and hypocrital than Ljl???? And punished with such a wrong moral lesson? 😮😕🤬 Noooooooooo 😭😭😭
Eh....at least i'll be ready to take the hit. 💔 Maybe... 😭😭😭
