Honestly I'm not despising it but...idk there's something missing for me. Maybe it's because the ml acts more like a stereotype than an actual person? I started to skip some parts (the queen mostly) and I'm not invested in their romance... actually I prefer the assistant and the secretary!
But I like that the staff is gentle and caring, usually it's a difficult relationship at least at the start... I'm glad we skipped some unnecessary drama
I also kinda like the step brother's conflictual relationship and I hope they will get closer...even tho the sister in law seems a bit egoistic she also seems to care about the fl? Or it's just me?

Good people don't kidnap and torture a person for informations. It's clear to me that senior lawyer managed to swap identity with ml's father. He was the one acting like a gang boss and he was the one who sent all those lawsuit to the teacher. But then the teacher and ml's dad probably were about to figure it out so he got rid of both

I think he was scared to confirm he was a bad guy, I also think he never really wanted to burn the talisman, he was just "buying time"

But I have to say my question was more a rethorical one, like the people who have the most seems to be the most miserable in real life...if I was the queen and could live a lavish life without having to participate in all that ceremonious nonsense I would go Enya right away. (But then I know power corrupts, I see what it has done to that poor Smeagol) And being a queen is just all her personality, she doesn't seem to have passions or hobbies than giving her son some ugly trauma

Uhm I don't know how to describe it, when she lectured the prince about the training area in the school I got this feeling of her claiming some moral superiority...even thought she decided to take the "grey" route it seems like the drama wants to paint her as a cinderella or a better person sometimes? It's maybe just a way to make her more relatable to the viewers and justify her selfishness (idk if it's the right definition but I can't find a better one to describe her behaviour) or maybe it was just my imagination?

I will watch this for the fluff and pretty eyes close ups lmao the scheming part didn't catch my attention so far. I pity the previous king and the little king...and the sml is going to suffer I guess. He seems nice so I hope they give him another love interest asap so the triangle won't triangle too much haha
I'm not saying it's unrealistic because it's absolutely not, but this drama got me thinking. These riches have it all but they seems always the most miserable ones. It's a price too high imo. I see that queen mother and I think "what more there is to want? Why are you so stressed and unsatisfied?" You're already at the top.
Also the fl is clinging on her father business but why didn't she create one hers, that can't be taken away? If she's so brilliant it wouldn't be an obstacle and that way her family's money is just an investment that she can repay. She acted like an underdog with better morals than her peers but honestly it's a contradiction, you can't pick and choose ethics...

For now I don't know, first episode wasn't bad but didn't get me hooked? Too much politicalese for the prologue imo

I'm liking this drama so far, especially how the ml is characterized. He's so gentle and empathetic and I can't help but cheering for him!
The only thing that doesn't make much sense to me is how is he making money? Who is hiring him, since the ghosts are dead they can't sign contracts and pay him? Why are they showing up one by one, and why now? I hope later on the drama will give us a coherent explanation (I'm curious if the fl's sister or his dad will show up at some point. That probably would be intense)

Yeah and that thing made me reflect because generally speaking, governments (every nation has their own laws but it seems something common) are not that rigid with biological parents. I'm not saying they're not supposed to watch over every situation and make 10000% sure the child is safe but I heard too many cases of child abuse perpetrated by real parents where it could have been avoided.

A house with a 1 year old and two adults always busy ALWAYS spotless and the kid is as relevant as a frame on the wall. At this point they gtp'd the plot other than the opening D:

I understand your point of view and again I'm not complaining, on the contrary a person who's independent and responsible is much more charming in my eyes. I like that we seem to have moved on from the petty and spoiled heir to a more relatable and charming characterization.
That said it just feel like a switch to me, but I also have to admit that my cup of tea is the slow burning especially when it shows the gradual discovery of the other person's charms.
It's a nice drama so far so I'll keep watching!

I feel like Tae Hyeong's confession was a bit abrupt...I mean I get he felt accepted for the first time in his life but he was presented as a prideful guy and his personality kinda made a u turn. I'm not annoyed at him, I actually like him better that the ones who deny it for ages and get all petty like man babies (and he's also doing a decent job with the kiddo!) but there was no transition in his arc so it feels like he was replaced with his twin haha
I have this feeling that in every drama lately the characters are supposed to confess by the 6th episode? It feels too plotty imo and less organic.
Also I hope they'll drop quickly the triangle because it's really too boring. The guy is coincidentally her college crush, her boss and her landlord? It's overkill even for dramaland hahaha
And to be fair I want to see the interactions with the baby, that should be the focus of this series, not the corporate office romance
Not relevant but as an artist I'm disappointed at the gen ai opening/ending. I've seen such beautiful art in many older dramas to think these talented artists are going to be replaced with generic 3d Disney-style models is upsetting

I was watching it because I'm in a slump but I think it's kinda difficult for me to like it because my circumstances are similar to that baby. I know this will end happily (and the guy is also filthy rich as usual xD) so at least there's that, but the fl's mother really triggered me in the wrong way. I don't even know why I'm writing this here, maybe I'm just idk wanting to put it down.
It's a rom com so I don't think they'll dwell too much with her mother so I'll try see another episode
