Compared to elsewhere, we are in 'next-level cinema territory' with the quality of some of the BLs in the last four years. 💕
I still believe that 'the sharing of the ear buds' and the 'bonding by applying antiseptic' could have saved 20+ American shows. 😆

To counter that, I'm holding steadfast to the opinion that, in several BL shows in 2022 (Thailand, Taiwan, Japan & Korea), the ratings could have been nudged a little bit higher by removing some of OST and substituting it with 'ZZ Top' songs for the sex scenes. 🤣

Example:
Win is in the locker room with Team. 🥰
Win starts using Team to move the lockers 4 inches over the floor. 😬
They make eye contact and get passionate. 😐😐

Then. . .remove the OST and add in 'Cheap Sunglasses'. 🧔🏽‍♂️🎸🧔🏽‍♂️

The week seemed a little quiet with 4-5 of the shows on a break, but I've been here somewhere.
The snow has abated for a while, too, and we actually hit 39 degrees.

Thanks for the reminder about the acapella. . .I've got to go watch :50 minutes of 'Remember Me' yet tonight, and the jingling piano that I'll hear in my sleep 7 hours from now. . . 🥰

I can almost recommend the show for your watchlist, though.
If I can make it through 'Bite Me' and 'Sunshine', we have the resilience for 'Remember Me', too. 🤪

The directors and screenwriters really are receptive to what the viewers like. . .if only money and the studio heads didn't get in the way so often. 😑

The bottom-feeding comments about 'Between Us' are testing my patience lately because I just heard the story that, after they did all of their scenes by the indoor pool, Prem was passionate about adding one more pool scene.

The budget was tight, so New and Prem put up their own money to pay for the crew to set up things by the pool one more time for the added scene.
I hadn't fully realized how much of themselves they have extended into these episodes and devoted 100% to for the last year. . .plus fan service afterwards. 🥰

Now I feel a little bad for some of my 'Sunshine' and 'Ghost Host' comments a month ago. 😬

Japan is usually more 'art-form' and less 'direct romantic' in 90% of the shows, but this one is definitely more direct. 😏😯

During the 'Win-Team Break', I did the 'Theory of Love' thing again, binged watched 'Roommates of Poongduck 304', and now, fully cleansed, I'm ready to tackle the profound teachings of 'Remember Me #13'. 🧘🏽

I was lucky to catch it on the first week, so I've seen all three episodes so far.
I've been laughing almost the whole month of December about Onoe blowing into Kaburagi's ear. 🌬️😜

I'm worried that these two are going to end up tied together in a warehouse 'Midnight Motel' style for "having seen things they shouldn't have". 😷😷
They're messing with very dangerous people. 🥷🏽

This reminds me a little bit like 'I Will Knock You'.
The story could be literally anything, but they're both so adorable, I could care less about the quality of the story. 🤣

I thought I was the only one out there grinding my teeth whenever Mean laughs. 🤣

I was :40 minutes into this before I stopped asking myself, "Why doesn't he just go to the physical address on his ID and stay there every night?" 🤔
Then I finally figured out that he's Johnny Dai now, and Fude had to give him a wallet full of new stuff. 🔮🪄💳

I'm still trying to figure out where Fude was actually trying to send him before he ended up in 2022. . .and feeding him out of a cooler full of food. 😆

This is going to be fun and interesting. 😁

Johnny Dai's looks great, and 'Remember Me' is almost finished, so I'm not stressed as much about wigs and locks and scary hair. 😝

Interestingly, the funniest part of this whole episode had to be the way Johhny Dai had no clue about running his 2022 bike, and pushed the thing for a mile to his old address. . .
. . .and then realized, "What's that big button on the front of the bike?" 📴
*kashingggg*. . .the bike starts and off he goes. . .🙄

If I were in 2045, though, I'd probably pull the same kind of thing. . . 🤣
I'd even have to ask about the "three seashells". 🚽🧻🐚🐚🐚 🤣

It took me a while to catch on that Johhny Dai is not Tai Che Ni in the same body, and older.
That made it easy to follow the story once I saw that. 😁
I'm curious, though, if it's possible for Johhny Dai to do some checking on Grandma and end up coming face to face with the 2022 Tai Che Ni? 🤔
That's for later, though. 🥰

For now, I'm settling into the characters, the great acting, a potentially great side couple (if Lin doesn't trip and end up in the hospital by episode #4), great locations, and a nice slant on time-travel that's a little bit different than others.

I'll be here for #3 & #4, and eager to see Johhny Dai get out of that storage unit. 😆

The "last but not least" should be. . .Champ is walking along, and someone trips and falls into his arms. . .they make long eye contact, share ear buds, and are in love before Episode #14 breaks for its first Biolage commercial. 💖

I watched the first episode of HIStory 5 and waited for #2. . .and then realized that 1 & 2 were combined for a :53 minute episode.

We got this earlier in the series than I had expected, but then. . .this series doesn't follow the usual rules and always keeps us on our toes and guessing. 😛

That's why I'm curious if Mint actually fires the gun, or if it's a stall-for-time until Dew is held at gunpoint again later. 🥺🔫
I don't want to assume, because there are WAY too many variables at play here. . .but I'm enjoying all of it and I they've kept me entertained with all of this for 6 episodes. 🥰
I'm really glad that we got Ohm & Fluke out of the last series and into this one. 😁

I'm watching for a plot twist coming in #7, only because I saw a situation like this before in 'American Beauty'. 🥀🥀🛀🏽🥀🥀
In that one, our main character ends up on the other end of a handgun.
Of course, it's the estranged wife that did it. . .she had just acquired a gun, she had just taken lessons with it at a firing range, and she was desperate to get rid of her husband. 😬
But, that's not what actually happened. 🤔

Because of that twister, I'm going to throw out there that there's a 30% chance that Mint is in one of her psycho-moods, but doesn't pull the trigger. 😈
My guesswork tells me it's too early for this part of the story to happen. . .but then, a lot of my guesswork has been wrong. 🙄

If we could just get Dew to stay put in the 'purple world' for a while, maybe we can get Mum to figure this out for him. 🥰💜🥰
