Sorry. 😁
Temporary amnesia. . . 😐

I fell off of my bike, hit the side of a truck, and I need brain surgery to stop the bleeding. . .I think. . .I can't really remember. 🤔
But I should do it soon.
Today I put a pizza in the bathtub and all of yesterday's mail in the microwave. 🥴

You may have done the right thing with 'Remember Me'. ☠️

We are now at Episode #13, and Mean STILL HAS THE SAME HAIR, and now Ja is walking around Shakespearean-like with the hair he wore in UWMA.

It's getting weird, and now it's too late to expect stylists for Episode #14.
I used to really care about that show. 🙄

Compared to elsewhere, we are in 'next-level cinema territory' with the quality of some of the BLs in the last four years. 💕
I still believe that 'the sharing of the ear buds' and the 'bonding by applying antiseptic' could have saved 20+ American shows. 😆

To counter that, I'm holding steadfast to the opinion that, in several BL shows in 2022 (Thailand, Taiwan, Japan & Korea), the ratings could have been nudged a little bit higher by removing some of OST and substituting it with 'ZZ Top' songs for the sex scenes. 🤣

Example:
Win is in the locker room with Team. 🥰
Win starts using Team to move the lockers 4 inches over the floor. 😬
They make eye contact and get passionate. 😐😐

Then. . .remove the OST and add in 'Cheap Sunglasses'. 🧔🏽‍♂️🎸🧔🏽‍♂️

The week seemed a little quiet with 4-5 of the shows on a break, but I've been here somewhere.
The snow has abated for a while, too, and we actually hit 39 degrees.
*adjusts collar on Hawaiian shirt*

Thanks for the reminder about the acapella. . .I've got to go watch :50 minutes of 'Remember Me' yet tonight, and the jingling piano that I'll hear in my sleep 7 hours from now. . . 🥰

I can almost recommend the show for your watchlist, though.
If I can make it through 'Bite Me' and 'Sunshine', we have the resilience for 'Remember Me', too. 🤪
That's easy to say 13 episodes of 14 into it. . .😆

I've scanned through episode #6 of 'Director', but I still need to watch it all the way through. . .although I did see the car scene already. . .🥰

I hope you do OK with 'Love in the Air'.
The comments about it were like 'Fahlanruk'. . .either loved it or loathed it.
I liked it enough to do a rewatch later on. 😁

You were on the HIStory 5 list, too, so you've already got the first two episodes watched there, right? 🤔

They do lurk in the shadows. . .🧛🏽‍♂️

I think this is likely where the idea came from to introduce the main leads in 'My Engineer':
"Hey. . . .hey. . .how about this. . .are you listening. . .?" 🥴

*takes a long drag off of a joint and giggles* 😵‍💫

"How about. . .Bohn goes up to Duen on the park bench and tries to wake him up, because. . . ." 🥴

*takes another long drag off of a joint and giggles* 😵‍💫

". . .he's about to be killed by a man-eating lizard next to him. . ." 🥴

The directors and screenwriters really are receptive to what the viewers like. . .if only money and the studio heads didn't get in the way so often. 😑

The bottom-feeding comments about 'Between Us' are testing my patience lately because I just heard the story that, after they did all of their scenes by the indoor pool, Prem was passionate about adding one more pool scene.

The budget was tight, so New and Prem put up their own money to pay for the crew to set up things by the pool one more time for the added scene.
I hadn't fully realized how much of themselves they have extended into these episodes and devoted 100% to for the last year. . .plus fan service afterwards. 🥰

Now I feel a little bad for some of my 'Sunshine' and 'Ghost Host' comments a month ago. 😬

Slow burn is right. . .🙄

*Scene fades into Episode #719. . .*

Em at age 66: "So, are you seeing anyone right now?" 👴🏽
Name at age 65: "No. . .still single. . .for 50 years now. . ." 🧓🏽

Em at age 66: "Would you like to go out?" 👴🏽
Name at age 65: "You mean, like on a date?" 🧓🏽

Em at age 66: "Please. . .don't say the word 'mean'" 👴🏽
Name at age 65: "Oh . . .I forgot. . .I'm sorry . . ." 🧓🏽

I'm glad you said that. . .you're 100% right. 🏆
'Till the World Ends' just got feedback from the director, who came in to see the comments. 💁🏽‍♂️🎥🎬

*They lurk amongst us and look for new ideas🧟* 🤣

I love this. 🥰
Japan is usually more 'art-form' and less 'direct romantic' in 90% of the shows, but this one is definitely more direct. 😏😯
I'm also really happy they are half hour episodes rather than :16 minutes.

Happy 2023 to you and all of your 73-degree January heat. 🥳🌞🥳

During the 'Win-Team Break', I did the 'Theory of Love' thing again, binged watched 'Roommates of Poongduck 304', and now, fully cleansed, I'm ready to tackle the profound teachings of 'Remember Me #13'. 🧘🏽

*pulls head back in maniacal laughter* 🤣
*does it again* 🤣
*does it again* 🤣
*gets whapped in the head with a cupcake* 🧁

"Who throws a cupcake. . .Honestly? " 🧐

I was lucky to catch it on the first week, so I've seen all three episodes so far.
I've been laughing almost the whole month of December about Onoe blowing into Kaburagi's ear. 🌬️😜

I'm worried that these two are going to end up tied together in a warehouse 'Midnight Motel' style for "having seen things they shouldn't have". 😷😷
They're messing with very dangerous people. 🥷🏽

This reminds me a little bit like 'I Will Knock You'.
The story could be literally anything, but they're both so adorable, I could care less about the quality of the story. 🤣

*whew* 🥵
Thank You. 😁
I thought I was the only one out there grinding my teeth whenever Mean laughs. 🤣

I was :40 minutes into this before I stopped asking myself, "Why doesn't he just go to the physical address on his ID and stay there every night?" 🤔
Then I finally figured out that he's Johnny Dai now, and Fude had to give him a wallet full of new stuff. 🔮🪄💳

I'm still trying to figure out where Fude was actually trying to send him before he ended up in 2022. . .and feeding him out of a cooler full of food. 😆

This is going to be fun and interesting. 😁
Taiwan has a neat and unique way of telling a good story. 🥰

I'm slow. . .sorry.
I was going to wait until I saw Episode #2 drop before I made an observation. . .not realizing I'd watched a :53 minute episode that combined #1 & #2. 🤦🏽‍♂️
So, I'm good until later in the week. 😁

I like this series all the way through, even the bridge ride through the time portal.
💥🪞🏍️🪞💥
Dogs and cats have done it, so I guess it's safe and OK. 🐩🐈‍⬛👨🏽‍💼🧑🏽‍💼

Grand Wizard Fude scared me early on with the serious hair, but I got used to it. 😳
Johnny Dai's looks great, and 'Remember Me' is almost finished, so I'm not stressed as much about wigs and locks and scary hair. 😝

Interestingly, the funniest part of this whole episode had to be the way Johhny Dai had no clue about running his 2022 bike, and pushed the thing for a mile to his old address. . .
. . .and then realized, "What's that big button on the front of the bike?" 📴
*kashingggg*. . .the bike starts and off he goes. . .🙄

If I were in 2045, though, I'd probably pull the same kind of thing. . . 🤣
I'd even have to ask about the "three seashells". 🚽🧻🐚🐚🐚 🤣

It took me a while to catch on that Johhny Dai is not Tai Che Ni in the same body, and older.
That made it easy to follow the story once I saw that. 😁
I'm curious, though, if it's possible for Johhny Dai to do some checking on Grandma and end up coming face to face with the 2022 Tai Che Ni? 🤔
That's for later, though. 🥰

For now, I'm settling into the characters, the great acting, a potentially great side couple (if Lin doesn't trip and end up in the hospital by episode #4), great locations, and a nice slant on time-travel that's a little bit different than others.

I'll be here for #3 & #4, and eager to see Johhny Dai get out of that storage unit. 😆

You've read my mind about every trope and mis-step I've struggled with for the last 13 episodes.

The "last but not least" should be. . .Champ is walking along, and someone trips and falls into his arms. . .they make long eye contact, share ear buds, and are in love before Episode #14 breaks for its first Biolage commercial. 💖

I watched the first episode of HIStory 5 and waited for #2. . .and then realized that 1 & 2 were combined for a :53 minute episode.
I'm good now. 🤣
I should go leave a comment there.
It was a good start for the show. 🥰

I haven't seen the newest on 'Remember Me' yet. 😁
Most Sundays, it's 6:00pm before I see the new ones.
I can't even guess what they're going to throw at us for #13. . .besides cheap wigs. . . 🙄

Also. . .
Did you see that Japan is about to do their own take on 'Choco Milk Shake'?
If you feel like it later on, look up 'Suki Suki Wan Wan'. 👨🏽🐻‍❄️

Let me guess. . .Gun and Champ are a thing now, but Lucky has come back in human form and is trying to get between them? 👨🏽💖👨🏽 😇🦊👨🏽😈
🤣🤣

Happy New Year for you, too. 🥳
May we all get free subscriptions, special episodes and behind-the scenes extras every week. . .🎞️🤗🎞️🤗🎞️

Like Grandma always told us : 👵🏽
"Go find you one that will go into the convenience store with you in his Fried-Egg pajamas to get you your own toothbrush," 🪥💖🪥

Do you have a Hawaiian shirt? 🌺👘🌺
I wear one during the early part of the week and it seems to help. 🤣
