For me, to wrap this one up, I'm going to have to lower my expectations on what they do with Alex and RJ. 😔

Even if Bai Lang and Jin Xun An have smooth sailing (and ditch the Dad), there's about 1:15:00 worth of plot to fill in for us, so I think I'm still going to be asking 12-15 questions and 'what ifs'.

As long as they do a better job with the final episode than what was done with 'Ghost Host, Ghost House' and 'Ai Long Nhai'.
They were both excellent shows, but several times at the very end I was like, "Whoa, whoa, whoa. . .back up a minute. What about This, and this and this?" 😦

This particular series has been a perfect example of craftsmanship, acting and cinematography, so I don't think #12 is going to be a disappointment. 🥰
For now, I'm thinking that we're in good hands with whatever they have coming.

I'm hoping that Dad in the back of a police car is one of them. . .🚓👮🏽‍♂️

I really liked this episode, mainly because we all usually get to #11 and the whole ballgame is cancelled and rescheduled and replaced with angst until next week.

This time, I happy to see that love prevailed through this #11. 🥰

Having said that, I wasn't thrilled at all about Dad. 👿
I overloaded on cringe when this happened towards the end of 'Restart(ed)' and I always wish that this treatment was left behind 20 years ago. . .but reality is different. 😔
This will be the fourth series where I want to empty a fully charged taser on a Dad, so I guess, out of 100+ shows, that isn't a bad record. 🔫😩🔫
Still, it doesn't belong here. . .😑

It doesn't seem like we are only a week away from the finale, or Christmas. . .but here they come.
I'll be here for #12 with jingle bells on. 😝

This seems like a lot of a story to give us in just two hours of running time, but I'm hoping for the best and I'll be here next week to see Episode #3.

I'll let others answer what they know after me (because I know only a few), but I can say that the Episode #6 pool rescue scene was done before February, and the scene with Prem and his guitar is easily 10 months ago as well. 🗓️

Some of the blogs have been feeding us teasers of this series all year, and these are two scenes that have been up for ages. . .and I hadn't expected that work on this show went back so far.
COVID restrictions have to be to blame for part of that. ⚕️🤒⚕️

I think they kept filming scenes for the finished product right up until the first episode came out in early November.
That's a lot of months coming back to put these swim club jackets on. 🥵🥼

I hope everyone else knows a few more. 😁
I'm guessing that the Episode #1 villa scene was done late this summer, but that's a guess.

I'm also trying to imagine what it would have been like to get through Episode #8 if it had been :55 minutes long instead of :24.
I would have cried for another :31 minutes, I think. 😪

I've done a rewatch of these three episodes to see if I blinked and missed anything. 🔍
I like it even more after a few hours of binging, and there's one thing that has irked me about this that I still don't understand. . .🤔

. . .why couldn't they have given Ohm scenes in 'Romantic Blue' or 'Close Friend' where he gets to be this charismatic and emotional? 🤨
He's got great acting style in this series, and it bothers me slightly that he could have been given some of this material over the last year or two.

This sort of character range could (almost) have saved 'Sunshine Night'. 🎻🍎

They did a great job with this first episode, and the pace was just at the right speed to draw us in and not throw too much at us at once. 😁
I liked 'Fish Upon the Sky', so Pond and Phuwin are welcome sights in this one. 🥰

I'm trying not to make any comparisons to 'Sunshine Night', 'KinnPorsche' or 'UWMA', so I'll keep an open mind with the Mafia and bling slant on the story until later on. ⚔️ 💰⚔️
It seems original enough for me to keep me coming back every Tuesday. 💖

Nueng's character is going to be the thing for me to see early on. 😁
He doesn't come across as spoiled, privileged or egocentric. . .he comes across as very lonely, and that hit me right away. 🥺
This is a great cast they've assembled here, so I'm sure I'll be seeing all sorts of character development along the way here. 🥰

But with only #11 and #12 left, we might end up with a lot of the same results we saw with 'The Yearbook'. 🙄

That might mean the next two episodes are flashbacks followed by two time-jumps, and different wigs. 👧🏽👧🏽🗓️👧🏽👧🏽🗓️👧🏽👧🏽

At this point of things, I'll settle for two of them just walking into a bedroom and shutting the door behind them. 🤣

This kind of an ending isn't hinting at a Special 13th Episode or a second season, is it? 🤔
I hadn't heard about either one being in the offerings.

A bonus episode sounds nice, but I'm not sure I can handle another 22 minutes' worth of screen time with Nhai being nursed back to health from another fever or a basketball. 🤒🏀⚕️

We're already 10 episodes in with two to go. 😧
I've enjoyed most of the ride, but I really expected some sort of BL-inspired fireworks by now. . .or at least by Episode #8. 🎇💖🎇
All of the individual side stories have been given enough time to supply some 'Wow Factor' for us, but I'm still wondering when will finally get to see it.

I'm not disappointed in any of this series (except for what they did to Grandfather), but I do wish that Episode #1 would have come with a disclaimer saying that we are about to watch a series that is 94% documentary and 6% relationships. 🤨
Maybe I'm wrong and they'll turn up the romantic vibes here in the next two shows, but I'm wondering if and how at this point.

I'm with a lot of you who were underwhelmed by the outpouring of affection for Name. 😑
Maybe the message here was that the whole gang has accepted Name whether he can talk or not, but I still think he deserved some sort of a party for coming so far and speaking so much. 😁
This really deserved more than :25 seconds of attention. 🤨

Champ is still feeling the loss of his greatest role model and mentor, but after a full year of friction with the fam, it's definitely time for a sit-down family meeting.

Meanwhile, Golf is slowly turning into 'Freshman Champ' by disappearing into his paperwork. . .and I think it's from the hair. 👧🏽
The big glasses from UWMA are next, since he played an architect in that series, too. 🤓

The greatest thrill I had from watching #10 here was seeing Name using an i-Phone and talking on it, but I really expected to see cuddles. 🥰

Maybe in #11, instead, and we'll get a new side couple out of nowhere.
Maybe. . .it'll be Champ and he'll take Gun away from Golf. 😆

If he had put on a huge pair of eyeglasses, too. . .I was going to walk away from the show for about three minutes and go look in the fridge. 😫
I got my limit of this thing in UWMA. 😆

Yes. . .with some forewarning of the pure stubbornness of Nhai, his tendency to be nearly killed by slight accidents, and the world-record number of sponge-baths and wipe-downs Ai has given him in 11 weeks.

The good outweighs the bad for watching all of this one. . .at least from my perspective. 😁

'Ai Long Nhai' is about to finish up and 'The Warp Effect' is about to start. . .so I'm rewatching parts of 'Theory of Love'. 😁

Khai's character has not gotten any less grating over time. 🙄
Third has the quiet patience of someone who has watched all 18 episodes of 'Sunshine Night'. 😆

That scene with Win pulling Team out of the pool just about killed me. 😬
This was after the past seven days of making it through Grandfather in 'Remember Me', the 10th episode of 'Choco Milk Shake', and the final episode of 'Eien no Kinou'. 😫😫😫😫

Add to that this scene by the pool and I am totally cooked. 🥵
. . .and dehydrated. . .I need Gatorade if I'm going to keep seeing this stuff. . . 😰

I loved everything that they gave us in this episode, right down to Bee spraying himself with almost half a bottle of sunscreen. 🤗🚿
With that said, I feel like I was in an emotional decathlon to get safely through this one.
The acting here was definitely next-level work, and I was impressed with all that it took to make this look flawless. 🥰

Last year, when they filmed the :09 teasers for this series, I had no idea that it was going to lead up to what I saw here today with Win & Team.
Except maybe for Team calling Win 'Daddy'. . . 😆

In Episode #1, they were both shaking when they were in the villa. 🥵🥵
In this one, they were shaking by the pool holding each other. 😭😭
At home, I was shaking watching all of it. 😬

This was very, very effective acting. 😁
I wasn't completely prepared for how strongly I was going to feel seeing a 'Crying Win' and a 'Crying Team', and it honestly shook me up, because we saw no sign of this being possible during our scenes with them in UWMA. 😳
The bags of chips kept getting in the way.

That includes the scene afterwards in the car, and they both looked absolutely wiped, tired and exhausted, like the scene had been shot in sequence. 😞😞
The scene at Win's house didn't go unnoticed, either, when Team told Win, "I really understand now what it is like when you're about to die.", and Win answers, "Me too. . ." 😥
That was heavy. 💖

I was still shaking all of that off when we got to the swim club qualifying, and Win was not only terrified of Team jumping back into the pool but was also so upset that he could hardly talk to Dean about it yet.

On the other side of that, I was laughing the whole time Wan and Tul were within six feet of each other. 🥰
The non-verbal cues were flying all over the room and was a great example of, "Wow. . .that escalated quickly". 😆
It was the first time, I believe, that mosquitos have been used as an excuse to share a bed.

To my shock, the scene with them ended without Wan having a single clue that Tul is 'T-Rex' and he's been gaming with him forever online. 🎮🖥️🎮
I guess we'll save that for Episode #7.

I felt bad, like everyone else, that Win wasn't around at the condo when Team needed sleep cuddles.
. . .but then I realized that he's wearing the same shirt on out in the hallway that he has on (and sound asleep in Win's bed) in the series poster for 'Between Us'. 🖼️

So, when we get to #7. . .there will be sleep cuddles, and maybe breakfast for Team. 🥰

One of the key images I was looking for in #10 was Gun's Dad and his reaction to all of this.
He seemed aloof about everything else. . .and I kinda wanted to see this. 🤨

I wish that these time-jumps didn't create plot holes in the space-time continuum. 😆

I keep thinking, too, about all the time we've lost for 15-16 of these shows to finally get aired because of all of the COVID restrictions last year, but. . . 🤔

. . .what it gave us in return in 2022 was the extra months and months that Boun and Prem had to work on these two characters before they actually got to go in front of the cameras with them. 💖🎞️🎥🎞️💖

The hard work is definitely paying off over these last six weeks. 🥰

After two days, I should be ready to rewatch the whole stretch of 8 episodes. . .📺
. . .but I have to come up with the strength and resolve to get through that confession and the camping scene in #8. 😟😬🥺

I may need to hit 'Pause' a few times until I can recover from how brilliant all of this this was done, even though I'd pay money to see an alternate ending for it. 🎞️🎞️💖🎞️🎞️
They did help us all out a little bit with the ending credits, though. 😁
