It's going to be funny that for the next hour, all of these phone calls are going to be coming in to people, and NO ONE is going to be answering their phones or looking at them until this show is over. ππ
I'm glad I looked at the episode schedule up above. I see that there's a week being skipped for a break after Christmas. π
His name is Brook Sumethin Ruenarom. πI found him in the pilot for Episode #0 for the series, otherwise, he's…
Brook actually does match up with his picture, but now you have me curious about who plays the Dads? π€ I can't find much about them in the behind-the-scenes stuff.
If I could read Thai better, I could look at the end credits of each episode. π
I did find a few bits and pieces of clips that Brook did for the Vibie Gen web page, if you want to Google those to see them. ποΈποΈ I think most of them were on YouTube, as well.
The photo album in here has his picture and a few basic stats, too. π
I was thinking that maybe Jimmy grew another 4cm in the last three years, but Why R U was two years ago, and he was already really tall then. π³
It's funny that I didn't notice that he was taller than Saint then, either. If 'Punk Spy' comes out, we'll see if maybe he's up to 194cm and won't stop, π
We all were told ahead of time about Mom, but it still didn't completely prepare some of us for how rough this was going to be. π₯Ί
The way Santa and Earth handled all of this so carefully was really impressive. β€οΈ There was nothing out of place for the level of support, or empathy, or timing that I saw here.
Our character Eiw was a lot tougher here than I expected. The Episode #3 version of Eiw would have been struggling visibly a lot more. It's still impossible to see Santa and Earth cry in a scene together and not be unaffected. π
They tore us in half with some of these scenes, including the one with Cake's Mom visiting with Eiw's Mom at the hospital. π° They both knew very well which way all of this was going. . .but they both spent their time trying to cheer each other up. Knowing each other for 30 years will do that to people. π₯Ί
Then there's the scene where Eiw's Mom asked Cake to promise to take care of Eiw. Jeez. . . π³π°π₯π A short crying time-out break for me there, for sure. π₯Ί
We really, really needed to add this one to our playlist to use as an example against the rest. β€οΈ That's one of the reasons that it's going to be so hard to not see new episodes here for another 8 or 10 weeks longer. The withdrawals have already started. . .π¬
I continue to love the way Santa and Earth play off of each other in these scenes so naturally. π₯° We're almost seeing an impromptu display of themselves here, except that compared to Eiw, Earth would not be nearly as shy and reserved as Eiw still is yet. π
Someone needs to start a petition for 200,000 signatures to make sure these two are paired together again in another 16 episodes of something next year. π
I've learned over the last two months to make sure I'm stocked with Gatorade for this show, so I'm not dehydrated on Saturday. π₯ I did succeed in making it through :25 minutes of #13 without crying, so there's progress, there. π
The emotional investment I have in this series cannot even be measured, so I'm worried already about Fridays coming up where this show is wrapped up and I'm still looking for it yet. π Right now, after #13, I want 22 episodes. . .or else a finale next week that is about 4:00 hours long. ποΈποΈποΈποΈποΈποΈποΈ
I absolutely love how this series has separated itself from the template put in place for the other BLs we have watched in recent years. β€οΈ No mind games, no instances of 'We need to take a break' in the usual Episode #11, and no disappointment with our main characters going astray. π₯°
In other words, it's all very, very, very close to perfect for everyone who contributed to this series to make it all work so well. We don't see that happen often to the extent that it is here. π
I hope that the high marks continue to climb higher for the ratings out there, the ratings in here, and for the comments that come in for everyone from the actors, the direction, and our friend who assembled all of the OST. β€οΈπ₯°β€οΈ This series is quite an accomplishment in every case. π π ππ π
It might even bring in some extra well-deserved birthday greetings for Santa, since his big day started an hour after #13 was broadcast. ππ₯³π
I don't know yet what I'll do next Friday for #14. . .it will be like the last day of a long visit from good friends before they have to pack the car and leave to go back. π°
I've been making my way through the universe all of this time thinking that Ohm is taller than Ja. . . . . .and it's actually the other way around. π
I had this impression that Ohm is 190cm, when it's 186cm. Ja is 187cm. π
But what about the car that rose from the lake when Pluem was at the shrine at the end of ep.4? So thereβs no…
You noticed that, too. . .π I'm waiting and waiting through the last 15 minutes of the episode, and about :48 in I was like, "OK. . .I guess not. . .maybe they'll explain that later on in #6. . ." π
Thank you to whomever got the subtitles set up in the streaming that I watched for #4. π€ I didn't expect that until after the weekend.
This series still has its struggles to stay on course, but I'll stick with it to support the new actors and let them get some viewing numbers under their belt. β€οΈ I'm certainly not doing it for Motive Village, until they straighten up their code of ethics at the studio, but that's another story. β οΈ
With all sorts of hiccups in the way this show was cast and re-cast and definitely rushed, I'm turning a blind eye to the things that I'd usually roll my eyes back for. π
I'm calling it a success for this series if they give me a whole episode without someone's head down and passed out in a bar, without a wipe down sponge bath, or somebody's parent dying. π
**inserts wheeze** π
I'm glad I looked at the episode schedule up above.
I see that there's a week being skipped for a break after Christmas. π
There was a page online somewhere that had mentioned Santa's name as Santa Wabi Sabi Oudompoch. π
I can see where that could happen in a lot of the non-translated pages. π
I can't find much about them in the behind-the-scenes stuff.
If I could read Thai better, I could look at the end credits of each episode. π
I did find a few bits and pieces of clips that Brook did for the Vibie Gen web page, if you want to Google those to see them. ποΈποΈ

Not a happy ending, because they can all kind of tell what's going to happen soon, but not totally sad, either. π₯
I found him in the pilot for Episode #0 for the series, otherwise, he's not easy to find yet.
There's an Instagram link out there for him, but I haven't gone in to look for what else he's working on besides this series.
24 hours to go. . . π₯³ππ½π₯³
It's funny that I didn't notice that he was taller than Saint then, either.
If 'Punk Spy' comes out, we'll see if maybe he's up to 194cm and won't stop,
π
I had watched Peach of Time and hadn't paid attention to how tall Jimmy was in it.
I really wasn't expecting you to say 190cm. π
This was superb acting. . .β€οΈ

I was a little bit miffed about Peak's horrible timing for talking to Hom, but, when I take a step back, I can see that if they had to put a three-minute scene in here to address that, there was really no comfortable place for it to go in #13. π©π½ββ€οΈβπ¨π½
I figured that time was a factor here to not take us away from the main crisis at hand. π₯
I can't tell you what a relief it is to go so far through this whole series and not have to see the usual standing order of petty arguing and fighting, revenge tactics or ghosting that has been the case for 27 other BL series in the last three years. π©
We really, really needed to add this one to our playlist to use as an example against the rest. β€οΈ

You had quite a year, and I hope the next one is great, too. π
You can really feel the excitement in here already. π
968 days down. . .and 3 days to go. π₯³
