I can't believe we are already 6 episodes along in this story. 😮

I'm still enjoying it and getting to care about the individual characters more each week, but I haven't been able to stop laughing about the fight scenes. 🤛🏽 💥💥😡💥💥🤜🏽

Depending on which studio is doing the series, you can always note that they always get hit in exactly the same spot on the mouth. . .in every series. . .😋

And the love interests usually bond closer in the next scene when one of them puts antiseptic on the wound. 🤒

Halfway through now, I'm devoted to an extent to this show, so I'm to keep tuning in every week. 😁

I'm curious to see how this plays out, too, especially with New calling the shots behind the camera. 🎞️🎞️🎞️🎞️

Technically, Eiw gave him the kiss on the cheek before Cake left as if to say, "Think about that over the next 3-4 years". 😝
But when you saw the look in Cake's eyes when he got it, he literally got de-railed by it and couldn't even get in the car without going back once more. 😭

If they keep the theme going with how the tables have turned on Cake since Episode #3 or #4, you're going to be absolutely right about Cake going after the first kiss.

The non-verbal cues he's giving all the way back to #7 and #8 towards Eiw have been fun to notice. 🥰😍😋🤩

I'm going to keep my bets on Eiw with the first kiss, though, just because, when the jealousy and tension gets high, one of them will say. "Prove it!", and Eiw will make the first move. 👄

Cake, though, is getting a lot more territorial. 😡

Besides the great fun I had watching the big step forward we took with Episode #10, and seeing how Tah, Palm and Peak all looked a few years later, I got to thinking about new characters, too. 🤔

Getting Earth & Santa to work together again is great, and so, too, it is to see Earth & Pineare together again, as well. . .this time, in the same scenes (now she is playing Noey in Eiw's classes).

In UWMA, Earth was Pineare's deceased great uncle and she was Dean's sister.
This setup now is a lot easier to grasp. . .😆

The new character that is still coming up bothers me a little more than all the others that Cake has to contend with around Eiw. . .and that is Eiw's father (being played by Wo).

I'm worried at how this portrayal is going to go for the series, based on my personal opinion of what I saw earlier this year. 😬

When 'Restart(ed)' came out early this year, Wo had the role of Chin's Dad, and he almost burned down the comments section. 😡
Because of his reaction to his son's relationship choices, his character is in the 'Top 3 of Evil, Sadistic Dads in a Series', where he not only beat the living daylights out of Chin, but his boyfriend as well.

While I'll do my best not to keep that last role in mind when Wo arrives on the scene here, I am the slightest bit concerned that he is coming to play the same sort of authoritarian Dad around Eiw, Hom and Pao. 🙎🏽‍♂️
I hope it's a much gentler role. 🤞🏽

I might need to ask Afterday how she wrote this character into the novel. . .

I'm enjoying paradise (and jealous Cake) too much and I don't want a psycho Dad to turn it upside down. 😆

Not to be picking apart our friends doing the subtitles at the start of the episode. . .but when Eiw referred to Cake as 'Mr. Sweetie', did Cake really refer to Eiw as 'Mr. Seasoning'? 🧂

Picture 'KinnPorsche' and 'That's My Candy' being condensed into one script. . .with no tangible relationship in any of it.

I was 99% convinced about Cake's feelings for Eiw in Episode #8, and I'm 100% convinced now. 🥰

A few times, like when Cake hugged him coming off of the bus, holding him in his arms for the first sleep-over, and standing on the bus together, you could instantly tell Cake was in heaven. ❤️

This kind of onscreen chemistry is needed in every single BL story. . . .in fact, a little of this would have saved 'Bite Me'. 😝

I loved how you could easily read Cake and Eiw in every part of these scenes.
This wasn't a reunion. . .it was pure happiness. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

There was the scene back in Episode #3 where Tah had the sleep-over with Cake, and Cake noted that Eiw was more than a neighbor or friend. . .he was like the other half of him. 😥

Welcome to Episode #10, and it is now soaked into every scene.
Add to that, Cake was the first one to cry when he got off of the bus and saw Eiw for the first time again. 🤦🏽‍♂️

The details in the story and chemistry between these two were well worth the wait for everything we wanted to see coming up through the last three or four shows. 😁
Including how awkward and nervous they were for the first hour together again. . .that's real-life stuff there.

The haircuts and new clothes did not go unnoticed, either. 🧒🏽🧑🏽‍🦱🧑🏽👦🏽

I almost didn't recognize Tah when they were all having drinks at the table.
He looked 100% different. 😮

We were about :10 into this episode before Cake started getting territorial with Eiw's other friends, and I laughed through the next 37 minutes as it got very real. 😟😤😡

Like, "I'm here. . .get off of your phone. . .you're always on your phone now. . .", and, "Leave his hair alone. . .I'm the only one who gets to touch Eiw's hair. . .back off. . .I've got this." 😡🤨
Cake's expressions were instantly readable 28 times through this episode, and most of them were, "Eiw is mine. . .move two feet away from him". 👮🏽‍♂️

I always have had great respect for Earth's acting ability, but this particular episode gave me new-found respect for what Santa brings to the show. 🎖️
Now I know why I counted down the hours to see this latest episode.

I'm not at all sure how the friction is going to play itself out in the next episode or two, mainly because I'm already of the opinion that Eiw wants Cake as #1 in his life forever, and Cake seems to feel the same way.

This will be one of those rare shows where I am not expecting to hear the words, "I think we should take a break". 💔
It's already #10.

I'm not on board as much for the idea that they need to profess and confess anything to each other more than they already have, either. . .but it does have me placing bets on who is going to be the first one to kiss first.

Eiw seemed to be close to doing it at this latest sleep-over, so my bets are on him, even if Cake is getting closer to desperation. 😆😆

Looks like I'll be counting down the next six days to get ready for that. 😁

I waited for weeks for what I saw in this episode, and I was not disappointed for sure. ❤️
Everything I hoped would happen found its way into the 47 minutes of this one. 🥰

I was scared to take my eyes off of the screen and blink because I was afraid that New would slip a small detail in somewhere and I'd miss it. 😛

Especially after the show started and I noticed that towards the end of the animated opening, the high school numbers are gone off of their shirts and they have different colored hair in it. 👨🏽‍🦰🧑🏽‍🦰

I loved that. 😆

Our suspicions were correct about Eiw being in college, too, and already starting year #2.
I wasn't fully prepared that Cake was gone for four years instead of three. 😬

I'll save the rest of the observations for the spoiler, but I do have to share how Cake looked being back on the bus with Eiw again. . .like he could hardly contain his happiness, 💏🏻

. . .and the chemistry. . .Wow. 💥❤️💥
It was already fun to watch in the earlier episodes, but it seems absolutely adorable now. 🧸
If their chemistry onscreen was a 5.5 earlier. . .it's a 9.5 now. 😍

The OST definitely helped, too. 🎼🎵🎶🎶🎵🎶

For the first time, I felt like I was watching Santa-Earth just as much as watching Cake-Eiw. 😁

Sometimes, I think we would have been better off with 11 episodes and a cliffhanger at the end. 😑

Everything I've seen afterwards tells me that the screenwriter started eating mushrooms after Script Page 712. 🪄😵‍💫🧚🏽🪅

When I gave more thought to the sad fact that there are 58 things in this series left to explain and to sort out in just one (or two?) episodes, my mind, for some reason, ventured back to 'My Engineer'. 🌹⚙️🌹

When Season 1 ended, they left many story-lines open-ended and incomplete. . .with the full intention of getting us back for a Season 2. . .but we are still waiting for it two years later. 🤨

Is it possible that they're deliberately holding back here for the same reasons? 🍎

I'll keep looking, too. 😁
It would seem to be weird watching on Monday not knowing if they were wrapping everything up or saving something for a special. 😣

I liked the plot and pace of Episode #2 even more than I did with the opener, and I'm astonished at how much they worked on the characters just in this one episode.

Kevin & Pluem look like a great match together, too. 🧑🏽‍🦰🧑🏽‍🦱

I'm stuck for the rest of the week with "My name is Pluem. . .not Handsome Gardener" in my head, as well. 👨🏽‍🔧

I'm enjoying all of this, and I'll be looking forward to next week's show. ❤️

I forgot that 'Between Us' is only about four weeks away. 😁
That'll be refreshing, even if Ohm and Fluke's appearances are limited.

I survived 'Color Rush 2', so I can survive this ball of confusion. 😣

I watched that whole series waiting for the main character to return and be rescued, only to get to the last episode, end of story, roll the credits . . .and they tacked on a scene in the last 40 seconds that had him reappear in a hospital bed. 😫
I should have binge-watched that one and saved three hours. . .

I hope that Monday's episode will at least try to make amends. 😐

I'm hoping that this doesn't have a negative effect on their careers. 😕

In fact, I'm crossing my fingers that this encourages someone to hand Ohm and Fluke a script worthy of their talents. 🤞🏽

They have the chemistry, and they've proven that they can deliver perfectly as actors. . .they just need to get away from something like this production.

Someone else had mentioned that after spending a fortune on house locations, helicopters, cars, and red shoes, there had to be a belief that they this was all going to work with a struggling screenplay, as long as they had Ohm and Fluke and a great side couple.

I'm ticked off personally over the last four episodes because I have seen Ohm and Fluke in UWMA, and I tuned in to this one for a love story. ❤️
"You're trespassing on our land. . .please leave. . .", does not count as a good bonding technique. 🚷

I ended up with 55 plot-holes that may never get resolved, and it will be months before I want to look at a red apple again.

I'm wondering. . .early this year, how it was at one of the readings when Ohm and Fluke went through this screenplay and realized it wasn't a joke.
. . .and then to have to do it in front of a camera. . .🙄

Maybe Episode #16 will be a 3-hour extravaganza that will make sense of everything, bring everyone's IQ up 30 points, and explain how someone can walk into a board room and tell the stockholders, "Let's not wait. . .I'll be the CEO now". 🧖🏽‍♀️

Maybe this series was intended for ages 9-11 who are tired of re-runs of 'YYY'.

Actually, Pineare (UWMA Dean's sister) has a role in this show coming up, so we'll be getting to see her in the next few weeks, anyway. 🎉🤩🎉

My way of getting to the next episode unscathed is by way of envisioning the 'Worst Case Scenario' and working my way up through the slime from there. 🐸

In the final 11 minutes of the episode, Rain turns out to be dead, Kim collapses from a brain hemorrhage and Suns runs up to him and collapses from a heart attack. ☠️
The half-starved white horse rides off into the landscape and we roll the credits. 🎞️

Set the stage for Season 2, where Fluke is in the shower in Episode #1, and we come to find out everything in Season 1 was a bad dream he was having (including us). 🧑🏽 🚿

The real screenplay has GOT to be a fair amount less disappointing than that scenario; I would hope. 🙄

I posted a new comment about the calendar at Eiw's computer desk and put it at the top of the page so it's easy to spot. 😁

I think the circled calendar might read, "Cake ❤️Two Years".
I hope I'm fairly close on it. 😆

I finally dug into the desk calendar at the end of Episode #9, where Earth had circled March 10, 2011 with some marks. 📆
What I got out of handwritten script was, "Dessert❤️Year Two".

The complex minds we carry, seeing what it wishes to see, translated it further to,
"Cake ❤️ Two Years".

I'm often wrong about these sorts of things, so if anyone else sees anything different in the tea leaves, let us know. 🌿🌿 😁🌿🌿

The calendar confuses me a little bit because Eiw's narration at the end of the episode alludes to finishing high school, wishing he hadn't spent so much time avoiding Cake, etc. . . 🏃🏽‍♂️ 🧎🏽

I thought this episode #9 ended three years into Cake's journey overseas, but now I'm wondering if it was only two years in, and Cake doesn't return until 2012.
Does that mean Eiw already puts in a year at college before Cake returns? 🤔

It might also be a surprise left for all of us to see, and what Eiw has transformed himself further into for a full year that we don't see until #10. 🤔🤔

That would explain Eiw's dark hair in #9 and dyed hair in the #10 teaser.
