I gave the first episode a good going-over, but I'll save my observations for later after I see it again with subtitles. 🙊

I'll get used to an entirely new cast soon enough and watch the show, but I'll be doing it for the actors and characters. . .not for Motive Village. 😈

They need to reboot their whole company and code of ethics before I'll support the whole production. ☠️😵☠️

There are still a lot of positive points in this series, so I'm going to keep tuning in every week and enjoying them. 😁

We got three episodes in before we got to the now-trademarked BL "towel-drop". 🥼 🚿

That's out of their system now, so now I'm waiting for the next BL instance of "my crush got really drunk, so I brought him back to my place, threw him on my bed and I'll explain to him where he is in the morning". ❤️😵‍💫🍺 😏❤️😲

The subtitles in #3 were quite a bit challenging, but I was able to get around that for the most part.

At least the pronouns were OK here. . .I survived several episodes of 'Love Stage' where I had to read the subtitles four times to get the point of it. 😣

My next challenge is getting used to the re-casted actors that I got to know in Tonhon Chonlatee. 👨🏻‍🤝‍👨🏻👨🏻‍🤝‍👨🏻 🧑🏾‍🤝‍🧑🏾🧑🏾‍🤝‍🧑🏾

I have way too much patience with the writers of these screenplays. 😆

Since Episode #3, I'm like, "Ohm & Fluke are in this. . .there has to be magic and unicorns showing up any scene now".
So, I wait and ignore the hiccups in the plot because it's probably part of the character development for something two episodes down the line.

Most of the time, it works out all right. ❤️
Since Episode #9, though, I've been truly worried about where they're taking us with this one. 😬

But. . .I waited through 55 red apples, Sun falling out of most of the script since the helicopter went down, and three months in a villa that has never made any sense. 🙄

Meanwhile, I continued to tune in while the show I've been watching since July starts turning slowly into KinnPorsche with a cello and an albino plant. 🎻🪴

I'm usually proven wrong on these things just before I give up, so I'll watch every episode. 😑
I'm more worried about Ohm and Fluke being handed this script rather than my own disappointment, but it's all art and personal preference for what viewers are seeing, so I'm sure there is someone out there who loves where this one is going. 🤪

There are probably viewers out there who think 'YYY' was the greatest show of all time, too. 🤣🤣🤣

Well. . .at least they tried to make it look like it was still a love story for Episode #15. . .🙄

I'm a little nervous at how much ground has to be covered to work towards the series finale without it seeming rushed or carelessly written.
Also, I'm still not sure if we have a #17 to work with or if it is all put together in #16 as the last episode?

I have a phobia of plot holes left in a show, and I feel like I'm walking through a dark room filled with them right now. 🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for next week for fireworks and epiphanies. 🤞🏽
Or at least a minimum of disappointments.

Ohm and Fluke deserve better for being put together in main roles again. 💑🏻

Someone else last week looked into it and did their best possible take on the note on Cake's wall.
It translates to something close to, "These are pictures from my Drama Club play. . . . .I'm not lonely." 📘🖋️

I keep forgetting that in 2009 & 2010, sending digital pictures was starting to become routine, but it sounds like Eiw mailed these particular pictures on the wall to the US for Cake. 📷

The translation seemed a little confusing, because it was about the play, but there was no bunny suit picture to be seen on the wall. . .so maybe it was from a play they did a year later? 🐰

I'll do my own studying on the calendar date circled and see if I can do some amateur translating of it. 😁

My brain actually melted trying to wrap my head around this one. 👽

I should have been running away quickly from this plot, these characters, and the total chaos going on here. . .but I couldn't.
Once I stopped taking this one seriously, I was laughing my head off and not even trying to guess what was coming next. 😑

If 'That's My Candy' killed some of my brain cells, then this series melted them, especially the scene with the clothes dryers and washing machines. 🤪
Jeeeez. . .the dreams I'll be having for days yet. . .😵

Part of getting through this series was seeing how much fun the actors had to be having when this show went into production, and I was along for the ride, too.

When England came out with 'The Mighty Boosh', I figured I had seen everything, and this series reminds me of it in a lot of ways.
Actually. . .more than just a lot. 🦍🧙🏽‍♀️🧜🏽🧑🏽🧔🏽

In both, to be taken seriously, absolutely do not try. 🤪

I gave this one a 9.0 only because this show deserves its own place apart from the usual BL shows, and for the scenes that I will rewatch three more times until the 'WTF' wears off.

Under controlled substances, this show might be bumped up to a 10. 🥴

I was kind of expecting a sitcom-styled silly-fest aimed at young teens, and instead, I got to see a great story, great chemistry, and a lot of excellent acting. 😁

It needed some work along the way, but it was all minor compared to how I was drawn into the story and the characters.
Turbo and Kaownah did a great job of making this story work. 👨🏻‍❤️‍👨🏻

I definitely will be going for a re-watch on this one, mainly because I had to rely on my limited knowledge of Thai to move on from Episode #3 to #10 (no subtitles on the ones I watched). 🙄

I liked this first episode. 😊
So far, so good.
It's not easy covering 10 years in one episode, and it seemed to work great. . .haircuts, acne, and everything. 😁

If this is one of New's projects, we're in for good and wild ride with this series, so I'm going to have to keep my eyes peeled for the 535 small details thrown into these shows. ❤️

I won't make up my mind on the storyline until I've seen where this goes between now and Episode #4 or #5, but I do like the cinematography, the acting, and seeing some of these familiar faces again.

I am also on board with everyone who notices so many location similarities between this series and 'My Only 12%'. 🏠⛪🏚️🏣
If I see Sand show up on the playground in Episode #2, I'm going to laugh. 😝

I also think it has already won an award for 'Most Concerned Look on a Dad's Face' watching these kids grow up. 🤦🏽‍♂️

It also brings back happy memories of the 'Dawn of the Internet'. . . 😧
$1500 US dollars for a 30 lb machine that had a hard drive between 3GB & 9GB, and the thing would scream and hiss for a full 40 seconds before you were connected. 😫
. . .and would give your regular phone a busy signal while you sent an e-mail. 🤣

I kept noticing that, too. 🤔
The kids came home from school, and I was like, "I wonder if there are stairs on the back right", just like in 'My Only 12%'.
Sure enough, there were stairs on the back right. . . 😆

Those two new Episode #9 pictures in the photo album are giving me Friday night flashbacks. . . 😥

I went through all 8 previous episodes because I was absolutely sure that Eiw had gotten a drink for himself and one for Cake and then put a note on it. 🧋🧋
All I had to do was find the episode and the note. . .😁

After I did all that, I realized that the note was on a pair of green tea drinks that Satha got for Nut towards the end of "My Boy". 🤣🤣🤣

In the process, I did get to rewatch a lot of highlights from this show, so it was worth it. 😁

We need an additional episode to make sense of these past two shows. 😆

I did a re-watch of Episode #9, too, and I realized that I never looked much into Cake's three years away during the show.
I was so concerned about Eiw struggling, coping, and finding new outlets for his time that I didn't give Cake's struggles much thought.

I'm convinced that Cake knows how much Eiw cares for him and loves him, and that Cake has stronger feelings for Eiw than we're seeing. . .so that got me thinking too much again. 😆

I'm wondering, over Episode #10 and #11, if we're going to get a confession from Cake on how he felt in the US being away from Eiw for so long.
Like. . .if he was lost for several weeks like Eiw was. . . or counting the days until they could be together again. . .stuff like that. . .🤔

I guess we'll see the bulk of that when jealousy arrives in one of these scenes. 😬

I've watched and re-watched the teaser of Episode #10 about 30X now, and I'm waiting to see the whole scene with Cake coming off of the bus.
From what I saw, I kind of expected Eiw to be crying harder at seeing Cake again than he was when they parted.

I'll wait and see. . .
It's all part of the carefully stitched together development of the characters and I'm excited to see how it unfolds. 😊

Now that we've gotten Eiw and Cake to 2011, there are all sorts of things I'm hoping to see, expecting to see, and kind of terrified of seeing. 😊😬😧
All of us have surmised what those are over the last few weeks of waiting for the voyage to the USA to come and go.

With Episode #10 coming, I'll be one of those who hope there is a Director's Cut of everything, and that the next five episodes will each be 90 minutes long. 🎞️🎞️😆🎞️🎞️
Since that's not likely to be the case, I'm along for the ride and I'll enjoy all of it. ❤️

Earth and Santa have done a remarkable job in acting out these characters, and for transforming what used to be our usual Friday night routines. 😝

Does anyone know what Eiw had marked on the calendar for March 10, 2011, and what was special about it? 🗓️
I didn't know if it was meant to be his last day of high school, Cake's birthday, or the day of the month that he sends Cake an e-mail? 🤷‍♂️

Getting through the first eight minutes of this episode was tough.

I got hit hard by the hug and the kiss on the cheek.
Then the last hug.
Then hugging the pillow the next morning when he saw Cake wasn't sleeping alongside him.
Ouch. . .Ouch. . .Ouch. . .😫😫😫

They definitely hit all of the buttons at the same time before we even got to the opener.

I really felt for him for the first few weeks after Cake left, too.
When I was 14, my Dad had to go away for eight months to work 600 miles away, and I was very attached to him.
For weeks, I couldn't eat or sleep right, and it seemed like I saw him in every room of the house and in the yard.

I saw Seeiw go through this just like I did, and I could feel all of it.
I was really relieved to get past15 minutes into this particular episode. 😬

I thought I was going to see Sand show up somewhere again and expected something of Hom's relationship-on-hold.
Not yet though.

I was actually ready for this one. . .I had Gatorade on hand for when I got dehydrated by the end of the episode. 🧋😥
What I didn't expect was that I'd be crying four minutes into the show. 😭🤧😨

I was worried that this 2008-2011 stretch was going to be hampered by Cake and Seeiw not keeping in touch with each other and losing track of each other's lives, but I see MSN saved the day.

Now we're here. . .we got to see Seeiw make some changes in his life, we got to see him in the bunny suit, and we can get ready next week for The Reunion. 😁🐰❤️

It was nice to see Kung and Fee get him through the rough parts of it, and to have a big brother give him support when he needed it. . .even if the phone ended up in the toilet. 🖱️

It's going to feel awkward seeing them together again after three years, but I'll be counting down the hours to see Episode #10, anyway.
Especially if it's as good as this episode was for the story, the acting, the OST, and all of the small details that made this work so well. 😊

It was a decent series to watch, but I waited throughout the entire 8 episodes to see a reunion with Yoo Han. . .only to not see him until the last 40 seconds of the last episode. 😫

Does this mean we're getting a Season 3, or was this one final kick before sending us off? 😆

I had forgotten that See-Nam and See-Foon are twins. 👩🏻‍🤝‍👨🏻

I like the acting from both of them, too. . .from the very first scene, See-Nam looked every bit like the undead without the makeup and the blood. 😆

I wasn't sure what kind of concept this was going to be. . .something on the lines of 'School Tales' or 'He's Coming to See Me', and I was really happy with this first episode.

It's different, and I like that aspect of it already, so I'm sticking with it. 😁

I'm hoping for the best and keeping my fingers crossed for these next two episodes to see certain things resolved in a way that makes any plausible sense. 😕

My biggest fear is that this love story is going to morph into episodes of KinnPorsche with musical instruments. 😨

I haven't given up on the plot of the story quite yet, though. 🎞️🎞️🎞️🎞️
