Those perks doesn't seem to be worth it tbh, because if you scroll down a bit you can see how much people were stressing over these rumours for the past few days. It took a lot of effort for them to calm down and start normal discussions regarding the novel and this drama, just for this topic to be brought up again...

Since you can't confirm those rumours anyways, then what's the point in spreading them? You said yourself that people are freaking out lately, is it necessary to give them even more stress during these times?

These rumours start spreading everytime a danmei adaption makes some noise and literally nothing ever happens. I also don't get why international fans make them out to be such a big deal as if the whole entirety of China is talking about it, Meanwhile users on weibo are currently going bananas over kfc's new 梨花白 drink and I didn't even hear a single peep about these rumours. Although I get that you're just concerned and all, I still don't think it's nice to share them around since it does absolutely nothing but spread unnecessary panic between fans and gives attention to the trolls who started these rumours.
