This dude's a perfection, a great choice for a free babysitter judging by how good he's with kids, a piece of art that belongs both in an art gallery and Chu Wanning's spring dreams. Same, he's really popular in this fandom lol. I'm actually Mo Zongshi biased and felt really lonely because I've rarely seen anyone bring him up, unless when someone starts comparing him to Taxian Jun to create unnecessary fan wars which kind of give 'holier than thou' reputation to us, as if we're not willing to acknowledge Taxian Jun as a part of Mo Ran. Feels bad tbh, I just want to rant about him to someone :/

Honestly, the fact that he drank poison and ended his own life after gaining a bit of realisation is the biggest proof that his actions were cruel but his heart wasn't. That's why I don't hate him either. I'm glad Meatbun gave him a second chance by making him merge with Mo Ran.

Yeah that damn empress thing was extremely annoying, mainly because she wasn't even pitiful enough to sympathise with (unlike Shimei). I'm glad she got deep fried and her title was changed to 'Deep Fried Empress Song' Taxian Jun does have a great sense of humour.

This is going to come across as an unpopular opinion but I didn't like any of the things that Taxian Jun did to Chu Fei. I do understand they weren't supposed to be likable to begin with, and I do pity Taxian Jun too since he probably wouldn't have done that if it wasn't for the flower—I indeed don't hate him—but I just can't bring myself to ship them together. I also didn't feel comfortable with how Chu Wanning was low-key having spring dreams about all the non-con stuff Taxian Jun did to Chu Fei... But then again, I completely respect the fans who might ship them though.

Edit: Once again, I'd like to specify that I did admitted in my comment "I do understand they weren't supposed to be likable to begin with" because I don't want any misunderstandings. It wasn't targeted at Meatbun because making them ship-able wasn't her intention, neither do I want this part to get changed in the novel, it was just a stray thought I always had after coming across some fanfics and fanarts shipping Taxian Jun and Chu Fei as his prisoner.

That's actually a good idea, at least until people start assuming 'Absolute unit. Truly Awe-inspiring' is all I think about like CWN does. 😂

And don't forget random veggies as toppings, Japanese parents really like to give their kids vegetables in every way they can. I swear, my body's 60% vegetables instead of water because of what my parents make me eat. 💀
