How do you all come up with things to say though? I want to visit this comment section literally everyday, but I can't find anything to comment at all and even my replies sound awkward lmao. It's like my brain just fades to black like those censored papapa scenes in some danmei novels... Yet, as I said before, I want to be here everyday because it feels so homey, congenial and warm - just like that lil cottage in a forest that ranwan lived in.

Yep, they're understandable enough. They might seem weird at first but once you get used to it, reading them feels no different than reading an official translation.

I gave it a try myself after someone shared it a couple of comments down, and it was surprisingly really useful for remembering all the lil details that I had forgotten.

Sorry I unfortunately don't since I've no idea how to even save them in those formats yet XD
But their works are available on NU and if I remember correctly, none of them require buying the actual novel (unlike 2ha) to read the chapters.

Btw If you like her style then I think you might enjoy the works of these great authors too: 一世华裳 | A Lifetime Of Beautiful Clothes ('Record of the Missing Sect Master' is her best novel imo), 雪山肥狐 | Fat Snow Mountain Fox, 凤羽涅 | Feng Yu Nie (though her novel is pretty dark but it's well-balanced with fluff), 梦溪石 | Meng Xi Shi, Liu Yao by Priest (her other novels are a bit complicate), 酥油饼 | Su You Bing, 墨书白 | Mo Shu Bai, and 唐酒卿 | Tang Jiu Qing.

I don't think it's because you're on earlier chapters, Mxtx's writing style is just always like this, easy to read and comprehend - making her pretty beginner friendly, that's why she's really popular despite having only 3 novels so far.

Meatbun is indeed not a human being. She's a baozi filled with tons of talent instead of meat or veggies. Her screen name probably contains 'doesn't eat meat' because she eats Chinese literature and poems for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and Xu Hui's poems are her favourite snacks.

Can't disagree with the first statement, White was invented only for xixi and he basically own the rights to this colour ever since he played Runyu. I just think it also compliments Feiyu's light caramel skintone pretty well.

Same tbh. I think it's because Mengmeng is supposed to resemble a peacock (I mean personality-wise, since look-wise he's a lil hamster) so this colour suits his character the best. As for white, I'm just Mo Zongshi biased so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

THIS! I 100% agree with everything you said. The government cares more about having complete control over the citizens rather than for their livelihood. If they cared about the citizens as much as they love to claim, incidents such as Tiananmen Square Massacre and the cruel treatment of Hong Kong protesters wouldn't have even happened, let alone being swapped under the carpet as if it was nothing... It's extremely hypocritical of them to remind the people of the past over and over again, despite not treating them any better in the present either. It's saddening really. China is such a beautiful country with one of the most memorable history and culture but it's being ruled by such tyrants.
