Even though I have been kept commenting my disappointment on the drama lately. I hope the score does not get lower than 7. Please dont give it 1🥹, cast and crews still worked hard. I think cinematography is decent watch. Its just story is choppy. Lol just focus on the casts doing stuffs and acting around im sure fans can easily find fun here if anyone is looking for nonsense but easy watch and still can be entertain 💜

We can agree to disagree, but i cannot really not see that as him not jealous overZS..all hes talking he wanted her to choose him first and afraid she will stay for ZS funeral? That he wanted to be selfish once(? But isnt he always showing off he possess Fan Yun in front of the other guy) If he is not jealous and possessive he would understand her more. Why is that her crying to be seen in such a way. ..lol the guy who died forced marriage on, that is bad, but he had certain goodness towards her too, isnt it natural she will cry? The other guy didn't even get to drink nector tea,..so why is he so insecure. If he is mature and more understanding, he would just let her think for herself. No need to crash out. His letter was calm. But guess my good feelings for no longer. But that is just me.

Bcos he's either too scared or obssessed with her being ONLY HIS including thoughts and any nice towards ZS (even after death) is no. Or he just plain hate ZS? I actually did lose some my fondness for him earlier. Id say he had (or they) no trust even after drinking nector tea lol. Im trying to see them in positive ways becos they certainly has some cute scene. But that scenes is a confirmed reminder hes either so obssessed or their earlier relationship gives no insecurities that she needs to be waken up his insecurities. ...sigh...

Im still bias to "annoy" with Zheng Shi. But I do agree he should stop persuing her since their way don't align. 😌. But before the last arc at least he didnt stalk her as much as ML (why he doesnt have other responsibilities to do?). So theres some space giving at least. He cannot give what ML can do for her but that doesnt mean his caring is not genuine of course. If not for the last arc he forced her, (he did not force kiss her until then but ML forced kiss her many times already) I'd still prefer him. But I am not Fan Yun, so i understand.😝 i could not take this so clingy, jealous, insecure man(even after he drank her nector tea) even when the other guy die already. At least i can still say he must be depressed and regret from his grandad died, (not wholly betting for the girl affection with life like Sakujun ) that he finally commit that final mission in which she reject so he cannot drink nector tea. He wants her sad for him also not sad for him. Bit bipolar boy indeed. But anyway I will take the bad boy here over "goodie" one for once.😆🤭
Im finally relieved its over. After 3 years.. And this is a fun discussion. I am glad many of us are positive here. We did have certain fun at least. So its coming out after 3 years is still worth it and precious. Thank you all so much.
This drama has excellent casting from main to support. But it is choppy in storytelling. The production on cinematography is generally fine for me but it is bit old school and low budget. The costume are beautiful and the songs are nice. Nonetheless I feel this story of a inspiring woman who fight for human rights and woman rights is not touching enough. It actually a failure for me as a love story. But i do have certain things that keep me till the end and that I enjoy of. So overall I will rate it 7.5/10. My full review is here.

Exactly i wish the story focus more on character growth rather than this love triangle stuffs..with the way they build up Zheng Shi character, he doesn't really need that kind of tragic end..and also i wish they told more of ML life in other things too such as his past and stuffs, rather than him just doting and following her dream, rather than having his own path too ..and stalking on FL and jealous 🤦♀️ This story has so much potential but lol.. And even saying so Im still super happy and relieved it comes out..
Although i have been staying positive throughout. But i really can't help i have disappointments in this drama. I dislike ML that he's super jealous all the times. (Even though Joseph is cute..that cannot help...sigh) But at least the last scene between the cp was beautiful among snow. Im also happy 2nd CP get their happy. I do like Riley and Dai Luwa. Hope they pair up again in another drama as main cp. My disappointment is that i wish there were more development to them. I watched this drama mainly because of Deng Wei name was on the list. His role as I heard back then was supposed villain. But now that I actually feel Im bit cooked about that. But then i did come to like Zheng Shi, and Im kind of glad also that he is not actually a bad guy after all although he did have some grey side that looked villainish. It is such precious to see Deng Wei in cunning vibe. My fav scenes of his are with his grandad who doted him. The two actors delivery impress strongly to me. And then yep I don't exactly get why Zheng Shi would fall in love deeply with female that is actually justifying his last scene, and the game orchestered for his own downfall. All i could think was he was in depression state that lead him to commit such. Overall I will rate it 7/10. Although the base plot is solid they couldnt bring it to screen properly so that many people can enjoy. Its editing was choppy. And there were a lot nosense. But this drama is no serious at all. I will only recommend it to people who like the casts, and not minding old scool feel and some choppy stuffs.
