OMG !! Just done. I can say Im satisfied by the ending and overall. First 30 eps, I was super hooked, the last 10 eps is a little "...." . But overall, I still give this drama 10/10. I'm gonna miss my main cp Xie Zheng and Changyu. 🐷 will be rewatching their scenes for sure.💞 One of my top cp in cdramaland.

I think there are many misleading lines lol...surely its a tragedy .... despite one couple fulfilling ending. What they do on 2 main character is still terrible in my opinion. Though yep the drama is visually beautiful.. 🤧

The writer screw it up the potential beautiful love story. They want to nerve people...

I wish romance bloomed with main cp. And both of their characters developed together. If it cannot be happy ending, I'd prefer if they both fight together and perish together at the tree. Lol well fox prince and gen li happy end not make up for me.

FSMM writers are sadists , especially with Sword and Beloved. This title is too romantic for this drama. I agree with anyone who this should kept the title "Wangquan Arc". Really!! What they do to main cp is sadistic.

But then she used to poison him before too. .And they hadnt developed this cp.. And in the last fight cousin rumu even have to die. So i understand Fugui (though still harsh.. writer of this series is cruel) In the last scene at least he put in something of his so she can revived as little spider. Lol theres blue butterfly too. Its open end. these two were just spirits or real.

My final words for this drama. Beautiful aesthetics. Good for those who like tragedy and sad stories. But this one especially not connecting in many ways in its storytelling. For me it is about the hero who have to sacrifice everything to save the world from evil black fox. I am not connecting with it personally so my score will be low. It has lot of beautiful and good action scenes. I recommend it to anyone who like Cheng Yi.

Hmmm .... this made sense. However, maybe bcos with the way drama is promoting "she will stay by his side till end" so its possible that she's the one who will accompany him in the end. Bcos this drama makes Fugui to be continuesly sacrificing for others. In scene his dad, the dad just want him to live happily. I have feeling maybe drama may also want this direction since they keep making him sacrifice. It would be just ridiculous and no feel if hes just born to rigid sacrifice. And if they want Qing Tong to die, well why is this pair even here. Bcos they are separated for way too long so no growth in the pair, not enough emotion. I just think it would make a little sense if they keep her as his companion at end. Reincarnation ending sounds repetitive to Red Moon Pact end but LiP and RMP endings are different. So in my positive thinking, maybe they will give different ending to S&B as well bcos its ending to this universe. Adaptions can be different from originals. Well these are just my take. Maybe im all wrong. It can be tragedy or reincarnation like u said.🥹🤧

I think there will be "happy end" for fugui and qingtong at the end. Even so i am not sure i will feel for this cp at all now. They are separeted too much.
If it ends sad. Well that would be so ridiculous.

In ep30..
Its sad that Qingtong was still sad about what happen to QingCheng. But Fugui comforted her. Despite some questionable scene i have no doubt in her love for fugui that she had won over on black grief tree before. Their cp scenes were still flowing in my memory. I hope they able to build this world of human and demon living together.
In ep31...
I like the union of Fugui and Hongye. At least they talk and spend time together. And I like how Hongye invited QingTong and accepted her the demon girl that caused Fugui to leave Yiqi alliances. He didnt accept demons before. So hes heartfully accepting Fugui choice in life as a father.

This is so far my favorite among FSMM dramas. Maybe i like strong smart ML like Fugui. Despite love story not progressed as i wish. I still like Fugui& Qingtong chemistry. They are still my fav among three couples. Yet i still need to watch till end.

I understand your feelings. Bcos its unbalanced. It seems mostly fugui is the one who is doing/giving things for her. Like she did not share his burden. I wish theres more redepmtion. But could still be my wishy thought. Even then at least she had certain loyalty towards him. For HongYe, whose against any demon so this was his acceptance to his son choice of life partner even if shes a demon.

Yes although damage is done already and cannot be ever fixed lol I consider some those to be errors...and personally 30&31 eps are not bad for me.. i hope they continue in good direction.

Yes that scene to me is touching....at least...I like the way they wrap up although i wish father and son spend more time..
