Wishing on star

There're some very hurtful scenes where characters die and yes it's very hard to watch, but then this is story about fighting against gang - not loosing anyone would probably feel cheap even though I wish they all lived. The main actress also left because of her scandal but I do think they handeled her leave well all things considered and it didn't hurt the story for me in any way, her departure is incorporated into the story.

This was so amazing!! I recommend this so much if you like action and bromanece. Because trust me, the friendship and closeness of the two mains, plus all the other relationships around will make you absolutely teary eyed. The action scenes are amazingly done, you can tell the mains move different, like they're truly trained fighters, it's clear lot of thought went into this. The pacing is great and the story flows really well. I know there was a problem with the main actress leaving but imo her leaving made sense in the story as well and didn't take anything from it, they handled it well all things considered.
AND THE ACTING! Just amazing! The actors are so good with showing emotions and care as well as determination. An absolute gem I would recommend to anyone!

Me too. If it's any 'comfort', Sieun absolutely destroys him in the webtoon for Suho. That is a one diviation from the comic that I wish wasn't in the show

I totally agree! Sieun and Suho deserve the world. I'm really hoping they will continue with Part 2 and that the story will deviate a little from the webcomic (in case of Suho)

I keep coming back to this story, truly if you're not sure if to watch this, just watch it. The acting is out of this world, the storyline is equal part warm and heart breaking, the action scenes are so well done...It's one of the best kdramas for me and one that makes me come back to this over and over again.

If you like action and stories set in dystopia or scifi setting, I really recommend watching it! Some of the concepts are very interesting, the acting and production value is great and the action scenes are really well done. The story is a bit short, but it's still one of the best kdramas in the genre for me!

For anyone not sure if they should watch it....If you like action dramas, dystopia or scifi genre and like seeing great action sequences and bromances and platonic relationships, this show is for you!

They said it in the show. When they cut it they have time to use it before the scanners will recognise the hand as fully dead. So with the codes they can get short access to things they wouldn't have before. Just pay attention to what is said in the show and it will make sense!

It has an ending, but there's also space for more development if they want to do part 2. But no cliff hangers!

Absolutely loved this! The sets/world is stunning, the characters are well done and the story is really gripping! One of the best k-futuristic stories for sure. I also loved how the show doesn't over-explain and trusts the watchers are observant enough

I get what you're saying, but I believe it can be also interpreted differently. I think Suho is not the type to use instagram much and that Youngji was the one who took the photo, probably told him to post it and he did, because he didn't see reason why not. He would probably do the same if BS asked, but we'll never know.
They definitely were okay with him paying most of the time, (let's keep in mind he was always offering, even with other guys) but in one of the cantine scenes Suho tells him he shouldn't pay and that it's his treat this time. This for me implies that BS didn't always buy, as contrast with his other friends. Considering Sieun is so against BS buying things for his new friends I think he wouldn't let BS do the same for Suho for him all the time.
He did shrug of BS being lonely because I think at that point he was already done with their friendship.But just an observation

A gripping story that won't leave your mind! Seriously, I can't stop thinking about it, something about it just stays with you. If you're hesitating to watch this, don't and just do it. The acting is immaculate and the friendships will tug at your heartstrings. Not to mention the cool fight choreography

They're going to try but he won't just sit back anymore

They were hurt by him much more than he ever felt emotionaly hurt from them. Beomseok felt left out even when they were including him, because his problem was internal. He was incredibly insecure because of his situation and took it out on them, instead of communicating or at least ignoring them.

Instead of valuing spending time with them,which they're always shown doing, Beomseok focused on things that would made the friendship more corporeal and almost numbered - like following each other on instagram, tagging each other etc. Even when it's shown the other boys don't care or use those sites much and instead prefer quality time etc.

Beomsok wanted protection and he wanted to be liked. He didn't feel like he got that from that, which in my opinion is not true at all, but his perception was skewered. I think if anyone, they didn't need a 'friend' like him, he only seemed to latch onto them to be popular and safe and quickly disregarded them for superficial relationships. He became the antagonist and even went as far as trying to kill someone (cutting the brakes), put someone in a coma...Seriously.

His character can be pitied and understood but I would never say he didn't deserve friends like them. They tried to look out for him and cared, but it wasn't enough for him.

Yeah it's very exaggerated in that regard, but I mean that's what makes the fights fun

This was absolutely amazing, only thing I wish is that Sieun would have hit Beomseok at the end. At least once. I heard he really did a number of him in the webtoon and I kind of wish that was the case here as well. He was after all the one who was mostly at fault, and while others got destroyed for being involved, he didn't. I mean I get he had a shit life and everything and I feel sorry for him, but to me he went way too far and his life doesn't excuse that in the slightest.
