I'm so curious whether the king ever truly loved the former queen or was it just a political marriage. So far, it depicts that the current queen and the king were original sweethearts from before. It'd be sad if the king never actually truly loved the real queen.
Oh my, I have just finished watching episode 18 and I can't wait to watch the others episodes. I am thinking of…
The actor who plays Prince Chang gives such a moving performance of all his conflicted emotions. You can see he really cares for his brother and pushing him away to prevent him more harm. At least for now... hope he doesn't turn to the dark side later...please I hope not!
The father will ALWAYS be the weakest link and I really would like for them to stop wishing he lives long no no…
I can't read the father's mind and figure out who is the heir he has in mind. Outwardly, people assume he has Feng Ju in mind but objectively, Feng Ju is not equipped to lead a nation at all. I'm sure he sees that clearly too.
Although there are many issues with the father, I do have to admit that it's very touching to see his love for the queen, as they were sweethearts from youth. It's repulsive to see her take advantage of that love. He is too tolerant and kind to the wrong person....
Third prince (correction) really tries to act as if he is dumb in front of his mother.... and she is supposed to be smart but she can't see through her own son's feigned innocence?
