Initially, I wasn't sure if the Yang Yang and Rosy couple chemistry would be believable. I really loved the YangDi couple in YAMG, so I wasn't really ready to see Yang Yang paired with another actress, BUT the characters here are totally different and well-acted, and I don't have any trouble believing their love story so far. First time I saw Yang Yang in this type of costume was in Love O2O! Brings back memories! I also couldn't get into Martial Universe. I also saw a part of the movie where he stared with Liu Yifei. The visuals were so nice, but the story fell flat compared to the drama version!

I enjoyed Sword Snow Stride, but it's not memorable. It's one of those dramas I enjoyed while watching but afterwards, I can't really remember much about it except that it was a good watch. So far I only watched 4 episodes of this drama, and I'm still feeling for it whether it will be one of those regular good watches or something I'll keep wanting to revisit and miss.

You should give YAMG a try! It was kind of slow in the first 10 or so episodes, I have to admit - BUT after you get past the build up of the foundation of the story, it gets really good! Slice of life, and more mature romance type of story!

I'm curious, is it rare that subs don't come out until after the series end? The waiting is so hard! I've seen other cdramas mostly after the production finished. I usually try to avoid starting a drama while it's running because of the weekly wait.

I've only seen a few episodes so far, waiting for official subs. I also couldn't really feel the chemistry between the leads yet. I guess I've seen Dilreba with Yang Yang just a few months ago and their chemistry was super hot. I know Xianxias are a bit different so I am really hoping to catch the rest of the episodes with subs and hopefuly the leads will warm up more. I love this story though. One of the best xianxia stories in fact (read the novel while waiting for official subs)

I think part of it is also that I imagined some of the characters very differently in my mind. So I’m in a way trying to adapt to seeing some characters portrayed differently. That’s a personal preference thing I guess.
I do like Lin Hao Qing character, it is much deeper in the drama than I imagined in the novel. The father also seems to have more compassion in the drama. The actor who played Lin Hao qing interpreted this role extremely well.
Good drama so far but the drama doesn’t grab my heart as much as the novel. Seems to follow the novel pretty well but with some differences. Hard to wait for subs though!
This drama really made me want to cherish my family members more and give my whole heart to them. Beautiful story for the main leads. It was a bit slow sometimes and I was not a fan of the side couples/friends of the female lead at all, but the main leads and female leads parents were the highlights of the show that made it worth watching! Be sure to have napkins handy!
