It was a bit unnatural and hard to watch Zhang Ziyi and the other actress acting as young teenagers, to be honest. However, once we passed those first few episodes and they grew up more, they were great in their roles. It would have been much better if they cast younger actresses to play the younger roles for the first episodes.
On another note, I miss seeing Zhang ZiYi on screen. My first impression of her was from the movie Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, and I even saw her in person at the Manhattan School of Music over 15 years ago! She has aged really gracefully and beautifully, and I like her acting so far! I like the male lead too. He has a very charismatic atmosphere, and plays this kind of character very well! I'm still just on ep 10 so I still have much more to go. So far, I'll rate this between an 8/10 and 8.5/10.
I'm having a hard time with this. I really wanted to love it, but I'm only on ep 16 and I've been watching it…
I really wanted to love this too... I read the novel beforehand and it was captivating! One and Only was amazing too! Forever and Ever lacked something and I can't pinpoint what it is. I do love many of the daily outfits of BaiLu's character. It's just my style!
could anyone pls suggest me more colossal drama like this one? i barely move on from this outstanding drama (and…
Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms (also known as Eternal Love) is so beautiful also, though the male character is not as perfect as Si Feng, and there were moments I was really disappointed with him, it is still an amazing beautiful love story Xian Xia style. Legend of FuYao is also not bad, but it's missing something that L&R and Eternal Love has.
does anyone know of any dramas like this with similarly great romances? ;u; their intimate fluff scenes are leaving…
You Are My Glory has a slow burn, mature, and passionate romance story. Although there are many gaming scenes in the first 10 episodes, eventually, the gaming scenes stop. It touches on real-life issues and has it's fluffy romance moments, and some very hot ones from ep 25 forward. I highly recommend giving this one a try. Yang Yang and DD portray their characters very well. Story is based on a novel.
She is so pretty, the picture doesn't do her justice! Her beauty is like a classic simple beauty that grows on you as you watch her on screen. She's great in Our Times!
"King's Avatar" was the first e-sports drama that I watched. I've seen several others afterwards and I have since…
I actually think people are passionately expressing their opinions since they love this drama so much, and are not trying to force their opinion on you. They're trying to share what they feel and hoping you could get some more insight on why this drama is good/special in their opinion. I actually mostly fast forwarded some game scenes and focused more on the interactions of the main leads. The drama started getting exciting for me after the gaming scenes ended to be honest, when the love started to blossom between the leads. I guess it's very different from idol dramas. This focuses on the real life struggles of people juggling their careers, family expectations, society expectations, and romance, etc. If you are here for gaming, then I think you will be disappointed. But if you like slice of life and romance, then this drama is definitely superb at it!
Okay so this was my first ever ancient drama or u can say traditional Chinese drama that I watched....and this…
It's my favorite genre! You must check out Eternal Love, Love and Redemption, Ashes of Love, Ancient Love Poetry, The Long Ballad, The Legend of Fuyao. They're all very good!

Yes, this is a great drama! It is more mature than idol romance dramas. It has its serious moments and fluffy moments, but no unnecessary characters or villains. If you like romance, then you will NOT be disappointed. :)
Here in the Ph I can say that FIYS is more popular than YAMG because still there are many people who ship YY with…
Ohhh thanks for this info! Hope more viewers can give YAMG a chance! They're missing out on a gem! YAMG is like a more mature romance. I saw parts of FIYS. The story is cute, and it's definitely more of an idol drama.
One of my FAVEEEE surprise scenes! So out of character of Yutu!! But so cute!
Yea, I love the development! It's super realistic and I feel like I'm peeking at a real couple's life!! So far, I can't find another modern cdrama that gives me the same feels as YAMG yet. I've tried some recommendations from others, but nothing holds my interests yet!
