I always recommend going into any drama (high rated or low rated) without too high of an expectation and let the story unfold and reveal itself. If you are interested in continuing the drama, try to not get influenced by anyone's (positive or negative) comments, and just let your heart decide. I loved both TMOPB and AOL, and they're all very loved in my heart. I also love L&R. They're my top three faves and their MLs are all very different. Yea, it's especially hard when you're trying to get over another drama. In trying to get over Love & Redemption, I've tried watching other very well loved dramas recommended by others, but none of them captured my heart yet. I think it's not those dramas' fault that I can't get into them, but that my heart is still captured by L&R. Maybe that is how you feel since you are still trying to get over the Untamed. Sometimes the timing and mood makes a difference! :) Anyways, most of the people in this discussion board are very friendly (minus the very few haters who have nothing nice to say and still visit this discussion board) and we will all try our best to help along new viewer's journeys as much as we can. Just some random thought. Not sure if anyone else had similar thoughts before. Before watching xianxia, my initial impressions of the aesthetics were, why are the men all wearing their hair so long? Why do the men's outfits look like long dresses? Why do they do strange moves with their hands to push out their inner power? hahaha. Now, it's my favorite genre. And I'm loving the outfits, hair, and fight scenes!! To be exact, I prefer xianxia to modern dramas now! What a change! >.<

Yes totally! Their storylines are very different and each have their strengths (and weaknesses). Both are 10/10 for me!

Yea, they're both gorgeous in their own way. I feel that pictures don't do Gai Yue Xi justice because she is seriously so beautiful in motion! She's soo tall too. She looks different in photos somehow. I hope get more recognition for her talent and beauty soon!

Oh, I also noticed!! I was wondering why someone who dislikes this drama would regularly visit this page and comment so much. I don't regularly visit pages of dramas I don't like and most of the time I just move on and just completely forget about that drama. Maybe this commenter actually cares about this drama deep inside, enough to always catch on the latest about L&R? ;)

Awww bluepanda, I totally know how you feel!! You're so lucky to have family watch it with you. My girls are too young and my husband is not interested in cdramas. He only likes cooking shows. >.<

Yea, I also remember feeling satisfied to her suffer and try to redeem herself. hahaha. There will be some surprising events coming up!

It was the most difficult arc up to bear!! The people who make you so angry, don't worry, they will all pay the price some way or another. You can do it! What really helped me were the side notes from the fan subber on Productive Procastination blog, she prepped the viewers for if there is angst ahead in the episode.
