I feel you! I finished watching in Sept 2020 and this is the only drama that I keep checking for news and updates on the actors for so long. I used to just move on after 1 or 2 weeks max for other dramas!

haha, happy watching! I dropped Ever Night, due to busy life, and never felt any urge to pick it back up. I'm more of a romance fan and didn't feel it had enough. But the scenery was amazing and acting was good. Just not interested in enough to keep going, I guess. How about Listening Snow Tower? Does it have good romance?

Oh wow, I just learned something new from your post. I've been lurking on this discussion thread since September, haha and I just can't let go of this drama! I didn't read the novel so I had no idea about Tengshe/Bailin relationship. That's why I really hope they will release the scenes that were removed due to the episode limit from the Chinese government. Wonder how many great scenes we are missing out!

Your frustration is what all of us felt while watching the show - no matter how much we love this drama (10/10 for me), I felt every single anger, frustration, disappointment, yet also felt the love, sweetness, and most importantly REDEMPTION. the title totally makes sense for this show. The directors / writers know what they are doing though - because they also don't forget to feed us enough sweet scenes to make up for all the misunderstandings. Hold on tight and don't give up! Xuan Ji will regret it!!!!

Maybe you can try watching on Productive Procrastination or Youtube? Maybe you can set 2x speed for certain scenes (especially suffering ones) - but go slow mo or repeat in the nice lovey dovey scenes. PP has awesome fan subs!
