Wow, kudos to you for watching till the end for a genre that you don't like. I always just avoid genres I don't like because every time I try, I end up dropping it in episode 1. >.< For example, I don't like bromance - no matter how good others say a bromance drama is, I just can't enjoy it! >.< Glad you could appreciate Si Feng though. I must say though, xianxia have beautiful costumes and visuals, so our eyes can feel be cleansed :) But xianxias always have exaggerated characters. It's other worldly and filled with drama. hahaha. I love xianxias. It's my favorite genre.

No worries, we welcome discussion, and in response, the drama fans also want to share their opinions and defend their favorites. :) If you look around mdl, this discussion page is one of the friendliest. :) Even if we defend and share our own opinion why we love these characters, it doesn't mean we're offended. The journey of this drama will bring out all the emotions (including frustration, anger, pain, sadness, AND joy, hope, happiness, satisfaction, etc.) That's why I always tell people, it's a rollercoaster ride, but totally worth it! Yes, I think we all got frustrated and were waiting for that moment that Xuan Ji realizes the truth. When you get there, you will feel better for sure! :)

A truly strong man to me is the kind who is able to successfully protect their loved ones, their people, and even all people in the world. A truly strong lead will not make rash decisions that will end up killing innocent people in the process. Si Feng won’t even want a few of his people sacrificed for his own power. He’d rather be humiliated for a moment in effort to protect his own clan people. And strategize a long term plan to take down the enemies without sacrificing the innocent. That may look weak to others, even the villain thinks he seems weak, but it is not weak. It is true inner strength that will win over everything. I’m glad he is not written like many typical male leads. I also love how when he is hurt, he actually has a period to show his recovery, instead of magically becoming well in the next minute. And I love the XuanJi interactions during the recovery periods. Physically, he is actually very strong because he can take so many wounds and still recover. An ordinary man would not be able to survive that. He is definitely not an ordinary man.

That was good too! I loved Li dad- cried pretty much every time he spoke deep truths. But I couldn't complete the drama yet ^^;; Might give it another chance next year :)

Hello! Can't believe 2020 is almost over. Many drama fans say L&R is the best drama of 2020. Wonder what we will be saying in 2021. hehehe :) Wondering if there will ever be another drama that sweeps me off my feet the way this one does!

Out of all dramas I've watched over the past 20 + years, there are very few dramas that I want to spend time rewatching, due to very limited time to even watch dramas in the first place. This is one of them that is definitely on that list! BEST cdrama... in my heart.

Si Feng has a very tender and loving personality. Si Feng's greatest strength comes from his unchanging love and unrelenting determination to protect his loved ones at all costs. He will not sacrifice or harm another person, and is a true gentleman. For his people, for the safety of the world, for his friends, and his lover, he will show great strength :)

Oh my gosh, 8.6! Am I seeing things right? Whooo hooooo!!!

I got captivated from the story from the beginning but it truly became super exciting for me in ep 15 where my favorite cave scene happened. :) I like Xu Feng and YeHua too! I love captivating and epic xianxias with amazing OSTs! I personally think it is best to watch Love and Redemption without too high of an expectation and just enjoy the journey and follow the main leads adventures! And don’t mind too much what others may be saying and let the characters and story speak for itself. :) enjoy!!!

Oh it seems many people are looking forward to Mirror:Twin Cities. I will trust my fellow L&R drama fans and give it a try when it comes out. :) Hmmm Dilraba looks older than Leo Wu, he has such a baby face. I should check out the trailer though. Dilraba is so gorgeous, and I think she looks really good in costume dramas, since she looks like a goddess.
