So no slap kiss like in trailer?
We still have one episode left, but atp, that particular scene no longer feels necessary, and I don't understand why it wasn't included in the show. The crew on this project knew we'd most likely want to see it, but omitted it anyway. No logic there, and a total waste šŸ˜’

Just as I thought, the writers are now making Risa the absolute and ultimate evil, while her being undeniably…
Chet was treated the best out of all of them growing up. It wasn't until recently that he was treated the worst. Although I do agree that it should have been addressed it was the dad who was the true big bad and not Risa. Is it solely because Risa is a woman? That's pretty weak, and I agree they should have explored her cunningness more to make her duplicity and manipulations more believable.

Yet nothing justifies the first bullet especially when Pheem fired it while Than's back was turned! I mean I too…
Did you really think Pheem killed him? Daou's one of the MLs. They're not going to kill him off, especially with 2 remaining episodes left. Plus, they made it pretty obvious after Pheem shot him that he wasn't dead with all they're cryptic talk.

I don't know why I thought it was going to be like Kinnporsche before watching EP1, but it's a lighter version…
I don't know if you watched the promo or the pilot, but from the get-go, this show was always advertised as a rom-com, emphasis on the COM. I definitely see the KinPorsche aesthetic, though. Still, I agree they should have more courage when producing higher-quality, serious/mature BLs to cater to their audiences, especially given the roster of artists they employ. In 2025, with the public demand, not to mention the power, influence, and capital they have, it shouldn't be this difficult to put their big boy pants on and grow up. This show seems great so far, but producing more shows such as Not Me shouldn't be something we're STILL asking for!

Pheem’s motivation being revenge is all good and fine, if that were truly the case, but it’s not. The script…
I don't know if the series is intentionally about Pheem’s greed to have the hospital for himself, however, every else you said is pretty spot on. In the first couple of episodes while we are getting to know Pheem, his motives and targets for his revenge seemed pretty clear. Yet, as the show progressed, his targets appeared to have deviated, as I too got confused when he began acting like he wanted his father's blessing and approval rather than HIS and Thanavej's downfall.

What happened to becoming the heir just to destroy the hospital? I get using Than to get his revenge and all, but SHOOTING Than to protect the very thing he strove to destroy when we first met Pheem? That made no sense. When did his loyalties shift, and why? Where we gaslit? Or did I just misunderstand that it was really Chet and only Chet he was gunning for the entire time?

Because I distinctly remember Pheem clearly declaring he wanted to take down Chet for his childhood torture and vengeance for his mom, his father for not giving a damn about him all his life, and Thanavej Hospital for being the object that's turned his family into sociopathic, absentee monsters.

Anyone see how stupid this got? I mean Risa sent her Amazonian bodyguard to stop Park from shooting Pheem only…
Exactly, yet they are trying to make her this master puppet master manipulator who's pulling everyone's strings behind closed doors, and the only reasons keep going her way is because the script says so. Ya rightšŸ™„šŸ¤£

Honestly, I don’t get the love interests' hype over Do Ha. 4 episodes in, and all we have to judge his character is that he’s boring, drinks himself into amnesia, lacks personality, drifts through scenes like he’s half-asleep, is ALWAYS lost in thought, and overall just feels…flat. Those aren’t exactly the traits you’d expect from someone three hot guys are supposedly fighting over. Even Da’on in Secret Relationships had more spark and better chemistry with his co-stars, which made the whole premise more believable. A pretty face can’t carry a show like this. It can't be the end-all, be-all that structures the supposed plot. The object of everyone’s desire needs to actually be worth fighting for — alluring, intriguing, captivating — and lately we’re getting anything but that. Hopefully, the remaining episodes give Do Ha more depth.

People who have different opinions are dumb? lol DaouOffroad don’t have chemistry and this is not impressive…
Both shows are great in their own ways, each with unique strengths and weaknesses. They differ completely in plot, aesthetics, tone, themes, and cinematography — so of course, people are going to have their preferences. But seriously, there’s no need to tear one down just to make the other look better. Agree to disagree already. Each show has its own quirks and redeeming qualities that make it stand out. šŸ˜‘šŸ™„

Last week and this week’s episode were especially bad what is up with the pacing and lack of execution. Last…
You guys are killing me with laughter! 🤣 But your commentary is so on point. I want to like this show, but the flaws are getting too big to ignore. They really should’ve showcased Ramil's formidability more often—especially in key moments—rather than just the two times he used his mind-control powers.

The acting feels stiff across the board. Dunk actually looks more like the actor who plays Mekhin rather than Boun, so that casting feels off. And why does Ramil act more like a jealous child who won’t share his favorite babysitter (Punn) than a feared, revered vampire lord? He can have his sweet moments, but they should have done a better job with the balance. He just looks plain weak and immature.

Punn literally helped kill most of Ramil’s clan, yet Ramil doesn’t seem fazed at all. Where’s the anger, the grief, the desire for vengeance -- maybe not against Punn specifically, but still. That should’ve been a major obstacle in their relationship—but instead, he just wants more cuddles and cheek pinches.

I get Ramil doesn't, and never wanted to be the leader, but your clan has been hunted, and need you for a century. He needed to either find a suitable replacement, or wise up and rise to the occasion to PROPERLY defend himself and his vampire kin instead of allowing them to die. With that, I agreed wholeheartedly with Ciar. Weak script and pacing indeed. šŸ˜“šŸ˜”

to all the novel readers, without giving spoilers, are 8 episodes enough to portray their whole plot? I'm really…
It's all about how they transfer the most import plot points from the pages to screen and not waste time. 50min, 8 episode should be enough time to tell their stories adequately enough and in a satisfying manner. The execution is crucial so I hope they don't mess around with filler and just stick the flow and beats of the storytelling.

For me it was like 2 minutes. I really wouldn't mind if each subsequent episode was 2 hours long.
Speak for yourself. A lot of people were literally just praising the 2-hour long episode, so clearly, people do have time for long eps and love them when done right. We got fed today with a lot of plot progression and character development! If the ep is too long for you, simple pause it and come back later. Not that hard.

So Ramil doesn't care that Punn is the one who directly offed Miriah and instead sleeps with him? Ok. Come to think of it, the hunters killed so many of Ramil's family, but he doesn't seem to care that they died, actually were murdered. A heartfelt scene, in earlier episodes, of him grieving their deaths would have made the confrontation between him and Punn much more emotionally impactful.

I enjoyed this episode, but then again, I didn't. I felt that Victor's death was predictable and a bit of a cop-out, even though his death impacts various characters. Veera and Victor better be avenged, I need that FotherMucker "General" to be slowly tortured and castrated to death urgently, as well as all those so-called soldiers who are nothing but subservient, soulless murderers. Trin may be mad and feel betrayed, but that slap was not ok. As usual, people tend to take their frustrations and heartbreak out on those who love them the most, especially when they don't know all the details and apparently, don't care to! What a bummer episode. After Khemjira, my BL weekly watches are getting really depressing. Hopefully, there will be justice next week! The bad guys won a lot this week. They can't be the only victorious party for the finale either! 😔😰😭

Completely Agree. Regardless of Tanwa, Victor's fate was sealed. Victor's his own man, deeply passionate about his friends and his beliefs, was completely aware of the risks, was forewarned, and went in anyways.

This isn't America. Pause the episode and come back if it's too long. I like that the episodes are typically long…
Yes, but they do nicknames for foreigner benefits. I don't really see how making the episodes shorter are better since, that seems to be a you problem.

Again, if you find them too long because you have a short attention span, or because you find they drag, or for whatever other reason you may have, just simply pause and come back later. A lot of the time, series feel too rushed or too short where more story could be told or better paced.

Also, because literally almost every Thai show is a a singular series, we should be glad they have long episodic run-times to pack in as much story as possible. Most shows don't have the luxury of making them shorter.

Plus, because of social media, I'm pretty sure almost every fandom in A LOT of foreign, non-English speaking countries adopted the "shipping" culture. Not just Thais and North Americans. It's now a global phenomena since the last 15 years or so at least.

Having a kind and sweet personality doesn’t mean it’sa dull personality. U been watching too much drag race.
I know I’m late to the conversation, but wasn’t the entire point of Episode 5 to show that Khem does have grit and a strong work ethic when it comes to doing things for himself? He cleaned Paran’s entire house, cooked all his meals, and even hand-made all the offerings—essentially doing everything he could to appease Paran and ask to become his disciple. Yes, Jet helped, but Jet offered because that's what friends do. And still, it was Paran who refused.

Khem clearly wants to learn to defend himself, but Paran keeps holding him back for his own reasons. Paran is your classic tsundere—harsh exterior, soft heart—but it feels like he gets a free pass simply because he’s hot and everyone lusts after him. Both characters are stereotypes, sure, but Khem is the one who keeps getting ostracized and dragged through the mud.

I get the criticisms of Domundi’s repetitive formula, and I agree with them, but honestly, a lot of the takes I’m seeing here feel pretty biased.
