Loved this drama! I always rooted for them! It was like a real life relationship. They needed some time to workout…
Sadly, many see a man showing his emotions as a simp. I even got attacked for saying the female lead is a good character. Misogynists and sexists are in full force here. Thanks for the reasonable comment
agree, and sometimes they forget to cut the song off and i am mad because I keep listening to the same song
It reminds me of Bollywood movies that started removing singing and dancing to appeal to a wider audience or make their movies more Western. It is just sad.
I think your taste is changing as well..which is normal..I also used to think that Yoona from SNSD is way way…
Most K dramas have women dressing in "rags" in comparison to the male leads. It makes it easier to push the Cinderella trope. There is an Asian saying: " The Darker the shadow the brighter the light shines, ". Dramas are usually to sell the male leads and make them shine to the female audience. It is why I usually prefer the second female lead who is usually better dressed and the evil rich bitch in the story. For me, this drama is basically, the second female lead being the lead and getting the guy for once. Doona is a sultry drama but not over the top. It was a breath of fresh air compared to other dramas even Crash Landing on You that had female leads wearing granny clothes
I am currently on episode 10 and don't understand the hate the story or the FL ( as per usual) is getting. It is…
Thank you. I feel the same. Drama fans seem to have unwarranted hate for female leads who have agency and dont allow their life to revolve around a man. I enjoyed it. She was losing her sense of self and decided to take control of her life. I liked how she did not need a better man to do it. She did it on her own
the business was not even alive while they were together, she worked to support their living, the business was…
I am not assuming. It was made very clear. I know that we can perceive characters differently and can be biased towards them. It is why antihero stories are popular But that does not change facts. He was unable to pay his rent that he asked his friend for a part time job His landlord/real estate agent complained that rent was not late when the lady was in charge.
You are obviously biased against the female lead and seem to be the one assuming many things. Calling this female lead cold is pretty ridiculous given how she tried to go on dates like the amusement park and he ignored her lol

I have caught up with all 11 episodes but even the male lead admitted he was at fault. I dont get what you are all arguing for. She has been paying his rent for years.
I don't usually cry when watching anything but Ugly Alert make me cry every time. It doesnt have birth secrets or other distractions and for the most part focuses on developing relationships with characters. Lots of communication instead of misunderstandings
is this series worth to watch, coz its 100 episode,
Personally, it was disappointing. It had all my favorite actors and actresses but I couldnt enjoy it. I just skipped to the end Try Ugly Alert instead or Once Again
This wasn't. I just wanted it to end

I enjoyed Agency a lot in comparison
It is not a big deal
It is just sad.
I will recommend Bubblegum 2015 then. It also used an English song.
It has a similar indie movie feel

A Korean drama with no Korean songs
It was offputting
You just outed yourself as a misogynist

I had similar feelings for Tokyo Love Story 2020 but for different reasons
I will recommend Ugly Alert and Once Again
