Yap also one of my biggest fear....the most accurate wholesome version..would be the one we were suposed to get in 2021....anything after the boycott and bans....will literally turn this drama into a straight storyline focusing on Moran and Shi Mei relationship with Chu Wanning being just a authoritarian figure whom teach, sacrifice and protects them...or just a brotherhood drama focusing in eradication evil and sorting out misunderstandings of the past...so much will be lost if the main focus of this drama is completely edited out...I also think thats a reason the drama hasnt aired as so much will be lost to extreme censorship....probably they are waiting on a more proper timing...holding hope that as time passes the censor policies will relax a bit...as previous policies have been before...it all comes down to whomever is gonna leak the drama...or NRTA future stance of these policies.

Can I tell you...Im nearly went crazy when I saw the cast esp....for the leads....so accurate its unbelievable at time...lol

I saw the trailer and had to come here....like damn....I have so much respect for these actors to act in a theme so daring...even Im shocked by the synopsis....like im use to Omega X Alpha or Alpha X Alpha..but a Engima knowing up an Alpha..ok this got my attention!!!😅....I mean as BL lover...I read these themes in manhua, manhwa..novels..etc..all the time but to see it in live action by these beautiful actors plus nice production quality...yall...this have me SAT!!!!!😅🤣🤣🤣

Even though Chinese BL adaptations are censored...they are just refered to as BL overall since thats the best China could do when it comes to any film relating to lgbtq+ adaptations... and compared to others WOH was definitely pushing it with the censors😅

The crackdown is basically recent..
Started from 2021 when the last BL adaptation World of Honor aired. lgbtq+ content exist in China still but whats published and interms of novels, manhua etc..is gets heavily censored now...and BL adaptation live action dramas and Donghua were not permitted to be released in the country anymore....so I guess they are selling the rights to aired internationally so they can get around the censors...better this way than never.

We already knew the original drama edit that was supposed to be aired in 2021 would've being a hit...similar or even more so than The Untamed as it was even the most highly anticipated drama then with great expectations...so forgive us in given it a future ratings😅

From what I understand airing Bromance dramas like FOF isnt the problem....but the ones adapted from BL dramas which clearly uses " Bromance" as a cover to pass censorship is the issue....according to the gov....actors use them as a short cut to fame and for queerbaiting...😅😂😂....

Yes the manhua is good....its allows one to see the scenes from the novel come life visually....but many things are summerized, skip over or done abit differently....so its best to read the novel to be 100% updated on the complete story....

Yes he made her feel safe....feel wanted....because yall see how much trauma she has....everyone lied to her and left her alone plus she was tortured fof years struggling to stay alive...she literally lost her very identity...

So she just wanted one person whom she can rely on and give her their full devotion and stay by her side forever....she herself has so much experience in life and also had potential to be a great princess....not only in name alone...however she never wanted all that....she just always wanted a simple free life with the person whos fully devoted to her.....even Jing let her down a few times hence why she broke up with him and avoided him altogether...until all those misunderstandings were cleared....

XY struggles with abandonment issues....thats one reason she never wanted face losing people whom she knows her lifespan is greater than as they will die before her....losing people she loves...Its difficult for her to bare....hence if she and XL expressed their love ....his death would literally have thrown her in the abyss....He wanted her to live freely and happily...he could never give her that so he pushed her away and let her go....I felt for him...ngl😭

XY had feeling for XL but never really wanted to dare admit it because they are real and deep....but what else was real is the fact he could never give up all and ran away with her....he made that decision before even meeting her and no way was he gonna give that up for love....that was a tragedy waiting to happen for both....

XL is like the badboy you have a high tense sexual attraction and love affair with which makes you feel alive...both love each other but know its a love thats doomed from the start....so it was never said or acted upon..

CX...even as a Jing Stan I loved him soo much...I literally was waiting for him to go crazy....trying and going against everything to win XY heart even if it means ruining all that he worked hard to achieve....however S2 CX is what we got😅...

Feng Long....Handsome boy....but he was like buy 3 get 1 free interms of ML interest😅🤣🤣...I loved him..he was such an eye candy..lol...his death broke my heart...

Honestly I understand why TSJ is like that....XY literally saved his life...he owed his life to her so he wanted to only live for her....remember when he thought she died in S1...(dude tried to commit suicide)....so his character is written to give her all she wanted that no other man can give....the ability to eventually let go of everything else darest to them and leave and live only for her....only Jing could do that....
Im am team Jing from S1 because I loved their chemistry then....but man was season 2 draggy....even their love and character which had no development, as a CP fan it got draggy for me....like they are adults...old as hell even....and where is the maturity of it all??....Jing..."waiting to marry to take her".....hah...like boy you think you are a teen or young in your twenties??....plus yall nearly die multiple times...and never was intimate in the entire drama...no children....just marry and disappeared....umm...was this all that was in the novel...no spice..??

Yes...Yes....I was waiting on this same scenario too....and what a let down to see it was just an illusion and all will be just moping around in their secret, unrequited and final accepted love....I still enjoyed moments of S2...but its easy to forget....the best highlight of the drama are just the leads....they were eye candy for me at most....

IMO.....first interms of marketing the leads refused CP shipping....and overall season was slow and anti-climatic...its was just ok....some good moments...but nothing with a wow effect that lasted.....

Ummm.....I actually love her.....she makes things interesting when she appears..like any moment she'll snap and start pulling XY hair😅🤣🤣🤣....I love her witchy, jealous face expressions and attitude....actress did a good job portraying her character....

Even if he asked her the right question.....what then??
